Been a while!

Its been so long, but I am back finally! I think the secret to my success has been this website and I just can't seem to get it right without it. However, I am back with more than enough weight to lose and I am excited about getting back on the boards.

Thanks Ladies! Glad to see your still around too! <3

Not much new to update except for now instead of a student I am doing my dietetic internship through my university, only 4 more months of non-paid internship experience and I am finally on the last leg of becoming a Registered Dietitian.

Apart from that, and finishing my thesis, all the weddings were super fun last summer, and I hate to say but in that time frame from August-Now (post weddings) I have put on pretty much all my weight back---but I am determined to make it count this time. Today I was a little higher than I'd like to be with my carbs, but tomorrow and form here on out I am going for 20g. Id like to get as much bloat off ASAP.

Food for the day:

Breakfast (7:30am):
-16 oz Coffee W-1 Stevia Packet & 2 Tbsp. SF International Delight Vanilla Creamer
-1 Jimmy Dean Ham & Cheese Omelet
-2 Slices Bacon
Snack (12:30pm):
-1 String Cheese
-1-100 Calorie Pack of Almonds
Lunch (1:30pm):
-2 Cups of Romaine W-2 Oz. Cucumber & 2 Tbsp. Shredded Cheddar
-1 Baked Chicken Breast
-2 Tbsp. Ranch
-Coke Zero
Dinner (7:00pm):
-1 Cup of Chicken, Broccoli, Cheese Soup
-1 Black Bean Brownie (made this from a recipe I found...they were gross--and now I have a whole pan to eat )

Totals= 1,696cals, 97g protein, 43g carbs, 12g fiber, 31g net carbs, 127g fat, 3851mg sodium

To keep track of my food Ive started using an online tracker and also got a Fitbit for Christmas---hopefully it will spark some good habits

Agh sorry I haven't updated, what a great way back :P

I was struck with the Flu a few days after I rejoined and have been hugging my humidifier and herbal tea with all the strength I can muster. I am on the mend now though, and hopefully back on track in the next few days.

Stay healthy everybody!

Getting back in the groove of things. I think I am at the heaviest I have been ever, and man I hate it. At least theres no where to go except down from here on out. I know the first couple pounds will be fairly easy its just maintaining my motivation which has been the tricky part lately. However, I do have a goal dress that Id like to fit into when it gets a little warmer--so theres some motivation.

Im trying to not be too hard on myself for letting myself gain it back, I had a really challenging Spring and Summer, and Im just thankful I made it out alive rather than making it out skinny.

I have some carbier food in my apartment right now since I was at the end of my loan money for the semester, so I am still trying to get it eaten up, but in moderation. I dont want to throw it away as I am an unpaid intern with bills to pay, but I am tapering my carbs day by day, and then I will be back down to induction level.

So I wont start tracking my food here until my carbs get down lower (doing the calorie thing until then).

Also I got a Keurig and a SodaStream for Christmas...and boy do I love them!

I love our soda stream, too! It's like a science experiment, and I didn't realize how much I like sparkling water! In fact, I drink it out of a wine glass so that it makes me feel like it's really something special.

And of course, I love the keurig, too! I mostly use that on the weekend. During the week I need the full pot!

I echo what KCG said: Eggs and no worries! Hang in there.

Down around a pound and a little extra this morning. Didn't have much of an appetite yesterday and forced myself to eat something because I was feeling pretty lethargic and headachey. After I ate I felt better and was able to run some errands, was rewarded by a nice little drop in the scale today. Go to keep going though! More eggs today and a little bit of bacon

Went to the store and bought all my Induction essentials. Going for no fake sugar, and strict induction for 2 weeks. I threw out all the food that wasn't allowed in my apartment so I wont be tempted. Time to tackle this like Spring Fever (even though I doubt spring will be here anytime soon), but I've been using the excuse of winter to be chubby for far too long.

For simplicity sake I am going to try and keep the same menu every day:

Breakfast-
Spinach Quiche, 2 Slices Bacon, Black Coffee
Lunch-
Salad W-Protein, String Cheese, Seltzer Water
Dinner-
Meat & Veggies, Seltzer Water

Ive been terrible at updating lately as well, Im super busy with my Dietetic Internship so that's why Ive been absent, however, I do link my success with being an active member on this website so I am going to try much harder at keeping updated.

Day 1 (again!) starts today. Going for it again

Will check back later with my menu--

Kitty, did you end up doing meat and eggs?
