So Ive been looking for a goal dress for graduation and I stumbled upon this. I think its cute, but Its very subjective and I dont know If Im too old for it or if I could pull it off (id pair it with some cute wedges or colored pumps).

What do you think?

Too old? What's wrong with you? I'm too old for it, but not you! It's cute, and you'll look great in it!

Haha thanks, its one of those dresses where I think its really cute but I dont know if I could pull it off, but its relatively cheap so I might just order it anyways--why not??

Same weight today as yesterday but that was kind of to be expected. Sticking to Meat and Eggs until Friday (I am hoping for around -5lbs by then).

Good news though, I am fitting back into my jeans that I was wearing earlier this year and the bridesmaid dress for the wedding in June that I have to wear (that was too small when I ordered it) is now zippable and comfortable. So wahoo! Hoping to lose more so I can get it taken in by June.

The end of the school year is coming up quick and I have a lot things I need to take care of but one day at a time, I cant let myself get overly stressed because then I implode. On Friday the BF and I are going to a Twins Game vs Kansas City Royals so Im excited. I hope the weather is nice. We got the tickets free from my mom for my Bf's 'early birthday present'.

Not much else going on, just trying to stay on track and finish graduate school without keeling over. Who would have thought itd be this much work

Ok, so I bit the bullet and ordered the dress, it will be a good goal for me to work for, and if its hideous--well I'll just return it

Was going to stick to Meat & Eggs today but I was craving veggies pretty bad so I decided to use up some Brussel Sprouts I had bought (Ive never made them before, and was pleasantly surprised)

Heres my food:

Breakfast (9:45am)
-1 Jimmy Dean Ham & Cheese Omelet
-2 Slices Bacon
-1 Cup Coffee W-1/2 Splenda & 1 Tbsp. SF Creamer
-8 Oz. Diet Pepsi
Lunch (1:45pm)
-1 Egg White Protein Shake (1 Scoop Egg White PP + 12 Oz. SF Almond Milk + 2 Ice Cubes)
-20 Oz. Water
-4 Oz. Diet Pepsi
Dinner (6:30pm)
-1 Grilled Chicken Breast
-1 Side Salad W-Romaine, 1 Slice Tomato, 1/4 Avocado, 2 Tbsp. Ranch
-8 Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts W-Butter & Bacon
-1 Diet Pepsi

Totals= 1,008kcals, 87.6g (35%) protein, 59.3g (54%) fat, 27.3g (11%) carbs, 9g fiber, 18.3g (7%) net carbs, 2425mg sodium

I made some Vanilla Spice Chia Pudding and might have a few spoonfuls before bed, but its mostly fiber so it wouldnt be detrimental to my carb intake. Hopefully my veggie consumption today wont cause me to gain a ton of water weight tommorow!

Up in weight today, I knew I would be because of all the veggies I ate yesterday so hopefully it will normal out by tommorow. Im going to finish up my Chicken and Brussel Sprouts for dinner tonight, and my Chia pudding for a snack and then I am embarking on a 3 day Egg Fast. Just to give the scale a reminder of who's in charge! I have a statistics test tomorrow which is going to suck (I have yet to finish a whole test in class thus far) and so I know my most of my night will be dedicated to studying for that....

Not looking forward to it.

I shopped a little last night, and ordered that dress for graduation, and also ordered another goal dress for my friend's bachelorette party for the first weekend in June. We are road-tripping down to Chicago so I wanted something cute. I also got some wedges which I thought would look adorable with it. Hopefully the dress isn't too short,a but I have a month or so to fit into it and tone up. So gotta keep up my motivation!

I ordered the dress in the green color, and the wedges in brown. I plan to pair it with some gold jewelry

Feeling a little blah tonight, and having a pity 'fat day'. Going back to egging tommorow (I even boiled some eggs for breakfast tommorow) to keep myself on track.

I would like to be at least 150lbs by graduation so I dont feel like Ive just wasted this whole year as being chubby. Im starting to get down on myself so I gotta buckle down.

As more and more pictures from my friends wedding keep getting posted on Facebook, its not that I think I look huge or fat in the pictures its just I dont look as 'thin' as I would like, especially, when Im standing next to thin counterparts. I know I will never be a size 0, but Id like to be comfortable and happy in my own skin. I haven't been in the 130's since High School so it will be strange to see if I feel thin then, because when I was 130lbs back then I remembered feeling huge....isn't it crazy how our perceptions change? For the next wedding that I am in June, my goal is to be around 140-135lbs. Right now the dress I have for it is a size 10, so if all goes well I will have to get it tailored down to a size 6/8. Heres hoping.

Heres to keeping myself honest and motivated.

Food for the day:

Breakfast (9:45am)
-1 Jimmy Dean Ham & Cheese Omelet
-3 Slices Bacon
-1/2 Diet Pepsi
-1 Cup Coffee W-1/2 Splenda & 1 Tbsp. SF Creamer
Snack (12:00pm)
-1 String Cheese
Lunch (1:30pm)
-1 Grilled Chicken Breast
-1.5 Cups Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts W-Butter & Bacon
-1 Serving Vanilla Spice Chia Pudding
-1/2 Diet Pepsi
-40 Oz. Crystal Light Lemonade
Dinner (6:30pm)
-1 Egg White Protein Shake (1 Scoop Egg White PP + 8 Oz. SF Almond Milk + Ice)
-1 Diet Pepsi
Snack (9:00pm)
-1 Spoonful PB
-1 String Cheese

Had major cravings today, no good

Do you think that the diet pepsi/crystal light contributes to the cravings? I find that those things always trip me up!

It might, but I can only cut myself down to 1 diet soda a day, I desperately need it. Someday when I am feeling stronger I'll cut out the diet pop, its rare I have crystal light, so when my little packets run out Im sure I wont buy anymore for a while.

Ugh, one of those days turned into one of those nights. Although my weight isnt on the forefront of my mind, other issues are. I wonder if I'll ever just have a nice, simple, uncomplicated life? Seems like a lot to ask for right now.

Hoping the rest of the week will be better, looking forward to some quality time with BF on Friday at the Twins Game, and then Saturday night relaxing with my girls over mexican food and margaritas. The weekend cannot come soon enough.

Hoping to see 155 *crosses fingers* I got my dresses I ordered in the mail and they are cute but too tight for my liking hopefully in a few weeks they will fit much better!

Still feeling blah, I am dealing with a lot of personal drama and its draining me physically and emotionally. I just want to sleep all day and let the the world wash over me, unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow for that. I'm trying to stay positive and healthy by reminding myself things will get better, but its just extremely difficult right now. Wheres my silver lining?

However, I think I am back into ketosis, been peeing like crazy today and at least with all this drama I dont have much of an appetite, so at least egging isnt hard right now. Hopefully the scale wont be scary tomorrow.

Breakfast (9:40am)
-2 Scrambled Eggs W-1 Tbsp. Smart Balance & 1/2 Tsp Pepper
-1-1/2 Cups Coffee W-2 Tbsp. SF Vanilla Creamer
Lunch (2:00pm)
-2 Egg Omelet W-1 Tbsp. Smart Balance, 1/2 Tsp. Pepper, and 1 Tbsp Cheddar
-2 Slices Bacon
-1 Diet Coke
-20 Oz. Powerade Zero
Dinner (7:15pm)
-2 Scrambled Eggs W-1 Tbsp. Smart Balance & 1/2 Tsp Pepper
-12 Oz. Powerade Zero
-20 Oz. Water

Totals= 705kcals, 43.1g (25%) protein, 54.2g (70%) fat, 10.4g (6%) carbs, 1g fiber, 9.4g (5%) net carbs, 1000mg sodium.

Feeling a little better today despite not sleeping well last night, hopefully my mood will level out soon. I started taking my antidepressant in the morning now instead of at night so maybe that will help. I also took a nap this afternoon and feel a little better, although I think I dreamt about eating a sandwich

Heres my food (second day of egging)

Breakfast (9:45am)
-3 Egg Omelet W-1/2 Tsp. Pepper, 1 Tbsp. Cheddar, & 1 Slice Bacon
-2 Cups Coffee W-2 Tbsp. SF Creamer
-20 Oz. Powerade Zero
Lunch (2:00pm)
-1 Egg White Protein Shake (1/2 Scoop Whey Protein, 1/3 Cup Egg Whites, 1 Cup SF Almond Milk, 1 Splenda)
-1 Diet Coke
Dinner (6:30pm)
-2 Eggs Scrambled W-1 Tbsp. Smart Balance & 1/2 Tsp. Pepper
-1 Slice Bacon
-12 Oz. Powerade Zero
-2 Metamucil Pills & Vitamins

Totals= 684kcals, 59.1g (35%) protein, 42.1g (57%) fat, 13.5g Carbs, 1.6g fiber, 11.9g (7%) net carbs, 1063mg sodium

Day 3 of 5

Succesfully completed day 3 of 5 on my egg fast. I went from 162 on Tuesday to 159.6 today, so hoping to see 158ish tomorrow. Maybe 156 by Friday if I am lucky.

Day 1: -???
Day 2: -2.4/lbs

I want to be around 150lbs for my graduation, since my dress I ordered is a little tight. I would love to be able to move my ticker finally! Geesh! Starting to feel a little more normal and less fat. I should keep that in mind when I want to carbo-binge (feeling fat = no fun).

Its my moms and boyfriends birthday this Sunday, and I am making him some birthday brownies with peanut butter kisses on the inside, (I ordered my mom flowers and candy to be delivered tomorrow since she and my dad will be going to our cabin this weekend, and I won't get to see her), I believe she is 53 this year I will be making the brownies tomorrow so I have to fight the cravings to taste test! I am also getting my nails filled and my hair cut on Saturday so hopefully I can feel pretty at my graduation. Just got to keep my LC WOE under control this weekend. Not much else going on just have to get my homework and thesis finished. Spring semester just seems to fly by!

I also made an appointment for some anxiety therapy including a massage and biofeedback. Its not until the end of May, but I can already tell you I am looking forward to it!

Food:

Breakfast (9:00am)
-3 Egg Omelet W-2 Tbsp. Cheddar, 1/2 Tsp. Pepper, 1 Slice Bacon
-2 Cups Coffee W-2 Tbsp. SF Creamer
-10 Oz. Powerade Zero
Lunch (3:15pm)
-1 Egg White Protein Shake (1/2 Scoop Whey Protein, 1/3 Cup Egg Whites, 8 Oz. SF Almond Milk, 1 Splenda, Dash of Cinnamon)
-1 Stacker 2 Shot
Dinner (7:00pm)
-2 Eggs Scrambled W-1 Tbsp Smart Balance, 1 Tbsp. Cheddar, 1/2 Tsp. Pepper
-1 Slice Bacon
-1 Diet Coke
-10 Oz. Powerade Zero
-2 Metamucil Pills & Vitamins

Totals= 738 Calories, 61.9g (34%) protein, 46.8g (58%) fat, 13g (7%) carbs, 1.3g fiber, 11.7g (6%) net carbs, 1157mg sodium.

Thanks Kitty! Not going to lie, I did taste the batter, but no more than that

My mom loved her flowers today and she said she'd keep the card I wrote her forever. At least I can make her day a little brighter especially when it was gloomy out.

Day 4 of egg fast completed, and the scale broke 158 today, so that was nice. Hoping for a lose tomorrow but Im feeling kind of bloated so who knows. As long as I stay VLC over the weekend, I dont think getting to the low 150's by next Saturday would be impossible. One day at a time. Gotta keep using the power of the eggys! I might just egg on and off during the week and do LC during the weekend until I start stalling on my weight loss. Its cheap and simple all things I like as a poor student.

Didnt sleep well last night, so Im hoping tonight I get some good shut-eye.

Day 1: -???
Day 2: -2.4/lb
Day 3: -1.0/lb

Heres my food:

Breakfast (10:00am)
-3 Eggs W-1 Tbsp. Smart Balance, 1/2 Tsp Pepper, 2 Tbsp. Cheddar
-2 Slices Bacon
-2 Cups Coffee W-2 Tbsp. SF Creamer
-1 Energy Shot
-20 Oz. Powerade Zero
Lunch (2:15pm)
-1 Egg White Protein Shake (1/2 Scoop Whey Protein, 1/3 Cup Egg Whites, 8 Oz. SF Almond Milk, 1 Splenda, 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon)
-1/2 Diet Coke
Dinner (7:00pm)
-2 Eggs Scrambled W-1 Tbsp. Smart Balance, 1 Tbsp. Cheddar, 1/2 Tsp Pepper
-1 Slice Bacon
-20 Oz. Powerade Zero
Snack (10:00pm)
-1 String Cheese
-1 SF Jell-O

So I stumbled upon your story, which congrats first, but I am wanting to know about this egg protein shake?? I mean sometimes at lunch it would so much better to just have a shake instead of having to make sure that I have something fixed. Is it good? Does it taste like eggs? Is it bland? Thanks

I enjoy the egg white protein shakes, it doesnt really taste 'eggy' in my opinion and I like it much better than the pre-amde atkins shakes.

When I dont have Egg White Protein Powder on hand (I used to have Jay Robb Vanilla and currently I have NOW Chocolate Egg White Protein) I blend 1/3 cup of egg whites (the kind you find in the carton) with 8 oz. of Unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1/2 scoop vanilla why protein, 1 Splenda Packet, & 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon. Blend together and its really good in a pinch.

It keeps me pretty full and I use it in replacement of a meal for lunch/dinner especially when Im on the go. It works for me, so Id reccomend it

Holding on to some water weight today, clocked in at 161.2. I knew Id gain (considering I ate off plan all weekend) so Im not really bummed, just back to egging until Saturday. Id like to be able to walk at graduation at 155lbs. So Im going to try for that this week.

Weekend was really nice, the BF and I went to see The Avengers (which was excellent!) and went out to dinner. It was really stormy on Friday and Saturday but it didnt damper our plans.

This week is my last week of classes too, so I am looking forward to that, I just have 1 case study, 1-10 page paper, and 1 statistics final to get through and then I can just focus on my thesis for the next month and a half. Its so strange to think Im already graduating from graduate school. How time flies! My BF and family will be coming to watch my graduation on Saturday so I have to be on good eating behavior until then, the dress I ordered isnt as tight anymore, but Id like to feel good when wearing it. I initally wanted to be at 150lbs but I dont think I can lose that much in a week, so Id be happy with 155. Slow and steady.

I'll check back in later with my food

Still dealing with personal drama, blah. Sometimes I just wish I didnt have feelings, or at least I could turn them off. Would make things so much easier. Might just try and my distance myself from things and see if it helps and lets me clear my mind, its either a really good idea or a really bad idea. I just haven't decided which yet

Maybe tomorrow will be better? I could really just go for drowning my sorrows in a big glass of wine and a movie
