Had good intentions today, started off with a good lunch and then it went a little downhill. Hoping to be a little down on the scale tommorow, but if I am not I feel like I deserve it after more stupid binging.

I have no idea what is wrong with me (well I have some), but there are many things happening in my life that I feel like I am losing control of, and I think my binging is trying satiate that loss of control. Its a vicious cycle. I need to start logging more of a personal journal and be more aware of my hunger and feelings before I put anything in my mouth. If I keep at this, I will not lose any weight this month and that is not an option. I am also irritated at myself that I still feel fat at a weight I haven't been at in over 5 years. I am a normal weight, and I shouldn't be feeling so negative, but I think that comes with feeling dissapointed in myself for endulging too much and having secretive binges when no one is watching. LC makes me feel good, and I need to keep that in mind before I stuff my face. I need to learn to love myself more regardless of the stressors and some bad decisions I make on a day to day basis. I am human and make mistakes, I shouldn't punish myself for them....

September 4th I am trying on bridesmaid dresses for my friends wedding in April and I am shooting for 130lbs by this time. I don't know if its possible, but I need to keep trying (or at least give a better effort). My first mini goal of the week is to get back into ketosis, and by next Tuesday I want to be around 142lbs.

Keep my goals small to help get to my bigger goal by September. I hope I can do this.

Mini Goal #1-Get back into Ketosis this week
Mini Goal #2- 142 lbs by August 16th
Mini Goal #3-138lbs by August 23rd
Mini Goal #4-134lbs by August 30th
Mini Goal #5-130lbs by September 4th.
Mini Goal #6-Only eat when hungry, and evaluate emotions when feeling an urge to binge
Mini Goal#7- Don't be so hard on myself, and work on loving myself

Goals are established and I am ready (once more) for a fresh start.

Offical day 1 of being back on track. I didn't do strict meat & egging because I feel like I need to dip my toe in LC before I do a VLC day. Maybe tommorow once I am feeling better and more confident I can a VLC Meat & Egg day. Hopefully I will be in ketosis by Saturday. I had to take a "mental health" day from work today because I had a rough past 2 days, but I am really trying to get back into the groove of things.

Tommorow will be offically 3 weeks until I move back to my college town in my lonely little one bedroom apartment. Its bittersweet since I am moving away from my friends, family, and BF, and I also feel like summer just went by so fast. I want to start September with a bang, and in order to do that I need to get back into LC ASAP.

Just more motivation for me to do so. Hopefully I can make it work. I finally have not an awful food day to post after a long break from it. So here it is.

Lunch (1:30pm)
-2 Protein Powder Pancakes
-2 Eggs Scrambled W-1 Tbsp. Colby Jack
-4 Slices Turkey Bacon W-1.5 Tbsp. Butter
-1/4 Cup SF Syrup
-1 Square 85% Lindt Chocolate
Snack (3:00pm)
-1 Mug Sweet & Spicy Tea
-1 String Cheese
Snack (5:00pm)
-1 Slice Cheddar Cheese
-10 Cocoa Roast Almonds
Dinner (5:30pm)
-1 Chicken Breast W-Olive Oil
-1/2 Cup Cauliflower Mash
-1/2 Cup Garlic Green Beans
-1 Diet Pepsi
Snack (10:00pm)
-1 Mug Sweet & Spicy Tea
-10 Cocoa Roast Almonds
-1/3 HWC W-Cocoa Powder & Splenda
-4 Fiber Gummies

Totals = 2041kcals, 128.4g (25%) protein, 157.3g (69%) fat, 38g (5%) carbs, 18.5g Fiber, 19.5g (4%) net carbs, 3629mg sodium.

Day 2 kinda back on track, despite my weight being up today. Starting to get frustrated but I will keep going on my plan. May try a VLC day tommorow, we shall see.

Heres my food for the day:

Lunch (12:00pm)
-2 Eggs Scrambled W-1 Tbsp. Cheese
-4 Slices Turkey Bacon W-1/2 Tbsp. Butter
-1/4 Cup Flax Granola
-10 Fiber Gummies
-1 Tbsp. SF Syrup
-1 Diet Pepsi
Snack (6:30pm)
-1 SF Jell-O
-16 Oz. Diet Coke
Snack (8:00pm)
-1/4 Cup Flax Granola
-1 String Cheese
Dinner (8:30pm)
-1 Chicken Thigh
-1 Chicken Drumstick
-1/2 Chicken Breast
-1/2 Cup Cauliflower Mash
-1 Diet Pepsi
Snack (9:00pm)
-1/3 Cup HWC W-Cocoa Powder & Splenda

Totals= 1565kcals, 97.9g (25%) protein, 113.8g (65%) fat, 58.1g (15%) carbs, 39.7g Fiber, 18.4g (5%) Net Carbs, 1918mg Sodium.

Going to try and cut down my cals and total carbs for a while. I will be happy if I see any number starting with 13 by the end of this month. Gotta stick to it. Going to the BFs tommorow, if we eat out I will probably get chicken wings or a bunless burger, keep on trucking...

Also, I really have to limit my artifical sweets, as they are doing no good and only making me crave the real things more. Yikes!

Scale was down a little bit this morning, so that was nice. Not low enough for my liking though. I was having a "fat day" when deciding what to wear today so that was frustrating. I still don't quite understand how I am having these days when I am still hovering at a lower weight than I have been at in a long LONG time. However, I think it comes with the fact that I haven't lost anything in more than a month and have been bouncing around the same numbers for that period of time, which is starting to make me feel frumpy. I need to get back into gear.

I might give the scale a rest for a few days until I get back into Ketosis, I can't take the ups and downs right now and am starting to focus too much on the scale (and my bad binging behavior). I will see how it goes tommorow. I am going to have a simple menu to get back into gear. Lunch will be the standard bacon and eggs w-butter and a small amount of cheese, snack will be hardboiled egg or string cheese, and dinner will be chicken or tuna. Put on repeat for a few days, and ketosis and my control of the scale should follow closely behind. I won't let this weekend go to waste. I am stronger than the food I put into my mouth.

On an upside for the day, I had a nice day with the BF, we went to practice driving at a local driving range, hit a few nice balls, and also got some tips from the lovely BF. Also, his sister and 5 month year old niece were in town and we got to visit and play with the new baby which is always fun (his sister even said I looked really good, and asked me how much weight I lost and what I was doing--which was great to hear on a self proclaimed fat day). His niece, was so much more smiley and happy than just a month or two ago, I can't wait until she is more playful and starts to crawl. She is such an adorable baby. Afterwards, BF and I went out to dinner, and then relaxed for a few hours before I had to go home and rescue my dogs from boredom (I am dogsitting for my parents).

Hoping tommorow will be another good day I can chalk up to LCing. I'm not sure why I am in such a funk lately. I blame it on the summer doldrums, and my pure laziness. I am getting too comfortable in the 140's and I don't like that. Gotta make myself feel uncomfortable and motivated to get rid of these 5lbs and enter into the 130's.

Now for some sleep and hopefully nice dreams. Goodnight LC Friends

Still trucking along here, some days are better than others. Going to weigh myself tommorow even though I know it will be pretty brutal.I am really going to try and get back on track before I waste all of August, like I did in July. Will check back later, hopefully with good news and optimism

I'm with ya Mad4...I have been struggling too. I tried the m & e fast, which helped me drop 2 pounds, but then the scale keeps showing different weights...as high as a 3 pound gain! Then I drank my water, next day down again! I wanted to try this during the week but I was mostly eating deviled eggs...ugh...anyway, don't give up, you have inspired me and you can do it...anyway, you are still winning the race...just don't stop running!

Thanks FourStubbs, I think I am starting an egg fast tommorow, and continue for 3 days. I will be seeing some friends that I haven't seen in a while this Saturday, and would prefer to not look all bloated. So I need to stick to something. Hopefully an egg fast will get me back down to my ticker weight.

I am still here, and still trying to control myself. I have been really stressed with getting ready to move and start up my last year of graduate school. I am trying to not let the stress get to me, but it defintely is. Hopefully, this week will be the start of a fresh(er) start.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and motivation!

Long Time!

I am still around, just moved into my new apartment on the first, and am starting classes for my last year of grad school this Wednesday. Getting back on track once more starting tommorow. Going back to induction and some meat & egging. Hoping to post my menus once again starting tommorow!

Also, bridesmaid dress trying on for one of my good friends is October 15th, and I am hoping for 135-130lbs. I am ready to get out of the 140's!

Happy Labor Day Everyone!

This girl is back!

I am back on track, had my official first "real" try day today. School starts back up tommorow, and it will be my official first, last day of my graduate school career. I am very excited to say the least. I am hoping a more consistent schedule will be the key for me in getting to the 130's. September is going to be crazy on my weekends, but I feel like if I give it at least 95% effort that my weight should come off, even if its slower than I'd like. Going to weigh myself once more tommorow just to make sure I haven't gained a million pounds from my month of eating off plan. Hoping to not be MIA from this board any longer!

Heres my Food:

Snack (12:00pm)
-1 5 Hour Energy Shot
-1 String Cheese
Lunch (2:00pm)
-4 Oz. Ground Taco Meat
-2 Cups Romaine W-2 tbsp. Cheddar, 2 tbsp. Sour Cream & 2 Tbsp. Salsa
-1/4 Cup HWC W-1 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder & 2 Pkts. Splenda
-1 Diet Pepsi
Dinner (6:30pm)
-2 Eggs W-1/4 Cup Cheese
-4 Slices Turkey Bacon W-1/2 Tbsp. Butter
-1/4 Cup HWC W-1 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder & 2 Pkts. Splenda
-1 Diet Cherry Pepsi
Snack (9:00pm)
-1 String Cheese
-1/2 Atkins Chocolate Chip Granola Bar
-1 Diet Sierra Mist

Totals= 1833kcals, 81.2g (17%) protein, 158.1g (75%) fat, 36.9g (8%) Carbs, 12g Fiber, 24.9g (5%) Net Carbs, 2144mg sodium.

A little more carbs than I'd like but tommorow should be better. Feels good to be back

Day 2 Back on Track!

Doing pretty well on day two today, also had my first day of classes which went well also. Surprisingly, my first day of classes this week is also my last-however I do have to sit in on a Freshmen undergraduate class tommorow at 9am as Grad. Assistant and then work afterwards until 1:15. I also work Friday but only for about 2-1/2 hours so it shouldn't be so bad.

I was starving today when I got home from class and work as I didnt get a break for lunch and didnt have too many snacky LC goodies on hand. I always find it hard to pack LC staples since most of its perishable and I cant keep it on hand in my bag. So when I got home I ate a really early dinner which was pretty much my first real meal of the day, but it defintely tasted good. So that was a relief. Glad to get paid on Friday so I can go grocery shopping next week.

I am trying to stay under 20g net carbs, and give myself a little more variety of LC goodies since I think I burned myself out earlier this summe by restricting so much. Once the weight comes off and I get closer to goal maybe then I will restrict a small amount more, but right now I am ok with eating a larger variety

Heres my food:

Breakfast (9:45am)
-1 String Cheese
Lunch (11:15am)
-1 Atkins Chocolate Chip Granola Bar
-1 Diet Cherry Pepsi
Snack (3:00pm)
-1 String Cheese
Dinner (5:00pm)
-4 Oz. Ground Beef Taco Meat
-1 Romaine Heart W-1/4 Cup Cheddar, 3 Tbsp. Salsa, 2 Tbsp. Sour Cream, & 2 Tbsp. Ranch
-1 Diet Sierra Mist
Snack (7:00pm)
-1 Almond OMM W-1 Tbsp. Butter
-1 Diet Sierra Mist

Totals = 1393kcals, 80g (23%) protein, 104.1g (67%) fat, 34.9 (10%) carbs, 15.1g Fiber, 19.8g (6%) net carbs, 2131mg sodium

Going to try and get some more water in today as well. Hoping tommorow will be a good day 2. I have some chicken thawing in the fridge as we speak

Crawling Back....

I am crawling back from my non-LC ways and a few pounds of weight gain in order to get my life and weight loss back on track. Not feeling very good about myself so hoping this will keep me accountable again. LCing starts back up tommorow, and I am hoping to be back at my ticker weight in no time.

Lets do this

Awh thanks Kitty, now I don't feel so bad. Coming back here I feel like I have my tail between my legs, I jumped off the LC wagon before I was truly ready. I am hoping I dont make the same mistake twice.

I am hoping for 140lbs or less by Christmas. Heres hoping

I too felt like I let everyone, including myself, down. We are an understanding bunch here! Put your mind to it, and you will do it!

Bought some low carb quick food for my busy days of work and school including some microwave Jimmy Dean omeletts that only have like 4g carbs.

This weekend I also have to do more bridesmaid dress trying on for my friends wedding in June, so I am hoping that I can stick to my eating this week.

I will weigh in tommorow, it will not be pretty but I have to do it in order to snap back into reality.

At least the first week you lose a lot because of water and bloating. Yuck!

Gave a good effort today, but tommorow will be much better. I also got on the scale today, not pretty. I am planning to get some poundage lost before the weekend. I haven't analyzed my food but here is the jist of it.

B:
-2 Cups Coffee W-Sugar Free Hazlenut Creamer, SF Torani, & 1 Splenda
-1 Jimmy Dean Ham & Cheese Omelett
-2 Slices Bacon
S:
-1 Pack 100 Calorie Almonds
-1 Coke Zero
D:
-2 Chicken Thighs
-1 Cup Cauliflower Mash.
-1 String Cheese
-1 Diet Coke
S:
-1 String Cheese
-1 Powerade Zero

Tommorow will be better

Slowly but surely making my way back to LC. I don't know why I am having such a hard time with it considering its not even a hard way to eat. Praying for Ketosis this week to eliminate cravings. I want to lose weight before I try on MORE bridesmaid dresses this weekend so every ounce will count.

Also, I forgot to mention my best friend just got engaged before Halloween and her wedding is now in August, and I am the maid of honor, so that means 3 weddings in 4 months that I will be in the wedding party

Gotta get back to skinny me.

Heres my food so far:

Brunch (11:00am)

-1 Jimmy Dean Ham & Cheese Omelet (These are awesome and microwavable!)
-3 Slices Bacon
-1 Cup Coffee W-1 Tbsp. SF Peppermint Mocha Creamer & 1 Splenda
Snack (2:00pm)
-1 Atkins Day Break Chocolate Hazlenut Bar *YUM!*
-1 Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper

*So far about 10g Net Carbs*

I am thinking either Pork Rind Chicken with Cauliflower Mash for dinner or Tuna Mayo over shredded lettuce W/Avocado Slices.....
