Down 1.2 again...I really packed it in this weekend. I'm glad it's coming off though. I got some nice compliments yesterday about my weight loss..and the trick is that the number is around the same it's been for months..lol...still in the 160's. Exercising is the difference. I didn't do it yesterday but getting ready for it now..just have to finish my coffee and open my other eye.

Keeping a personal journal of my weight has been really insightful...I can see my pattern over the past two months...when I've cheated, eaten right, exercised, etc. I can tell mentally I'm making changes it's just gonna take awhile for the whole thing to manifest. I'm patient, I trust my body and mind to do what I need to do in time. It took YEARS to develop this pattern/habit so I can't judge or decide how long it will take to correct this....as long as the awareness is there and I'm working on it.

Good morning Jan, thanks! Yes, I'm kinda-sorta doing it..lol. I'm really in an interruption phase but due to my cheat over the weekend I jumped back in cycle 1 to get rid of the water weight. Once I'm within range (about 2.8lbs to go) I will maintain through LC again.

Late checking in to say HELLO!

Keeping a food journal and planning really helped me. It will be particularly valuable when I go back to C1 after vacation. I can use the same food plan; I am not big into reinventing the wheel!

Hope you're having a great day!

Jane

Down 0.8 so only 2lbs left to get to lower range area. I was considering jumping back to LC but it seems I can only keep losing while eating fruit and yogurt twice a day with 17dd. For LC, I'd have to get into induction phase to lose the weight and I'm not ready to give up my two favs for now. Maybe by Monday?

No time for exercising this morning. Have an early meeting so will try to squeeze it in tonight. If not, I'll make up for it tomorrow morning.

BBL once at work....

Good morning Shari! Why mess with what's working for you now? If you are enjoying that fruit and yogurt (and exercise) and losing, keep on going I keep forgetting to try the greek yogurt. I bought one and added splenda and it was just okay. I guess I'm missing the fascination?? Am I doing something wrong - I bought full fat and added splenda. Should I be adding other things? It tasted just like regular Dannon yogurt to me

Hey Shari, you are doing great! I love the fruit and greek yogurt. I started using it this p2 in place of a protein.

Gracie, I think greek yogurt varies from brand to brand. I like the Fage and Athenos but different people like different brands. It is thicker and creamier than regular yogurt. I am sad I just found out about it this year.

What do you add to it? I guess I expected it to taste like something different. It was creamier than normal yogurt but it tasted the same to me.

I add lots of artificial sweetener and eat it with fruit (mainly apples, strawberries and plums). You can add nuts, coconut, cocoa powder, raisins, etc. I even follow Fage on facebook. I am addicted.

Thank you. I am going to have to try the Fage brand. It's on sale at my supermarket 2 for $3.00 - is that good? It's just the small single serving containers.

The consistency and taste is more like a sour cream than a yogurt, depending on the brand. I like Trader Joe's brand. You can try adding some SF preserves to it (if you like fruit). Or make a "mock" chocolate pudding by adding in unsweetened cocoa (to taste) and splenda (to taste). You can also add in DaVinvi syrup, but that makes it more like regular yogurt consistency.

That's not bad. Plus there are some really good coupons on their site right now! When you print them, hit the back button and you can print them a second time. I maxed them out already.

Now that sounds GOOOD!! I tried GY once and didn't care for it. But I think it was the brand (store). I will give it another shot using the recommended onces Brenda mentioned.

Good morning Brenda! 2 servings of fruit and yogurt are required in the first cycle of 17dd. It has become a staple for me... it!

Good morning Jane! TGIF!!

As much as I think flavors it..lol..usually not even a half-pack cause I measure out an eight ounce cup as a serving. I just pour a small amount at at time until I get that kick flavor!
