Well I peeked at the scale since it's been a couple of days and I was in the mood to do so..lol. Down 2.2lbs since Monday. I think I'll check again sometime over the weekend.

Exercised this morning and boy do I feel better doing so. I was dragging the other day when I didn't exercise so I definitely can tell a difference when I do.

30 days until we cruise!!

I tried some different things yesterday. I normally buy the plain lowfat yogurt and add SF jello to it and have been eating a very lowfat salad dressing. Yesterday I bought Dannon Light & Fit yogurt and a salad dressing with more fat but made with extra virgin olive oil...delish! I was worried that the changes may affect my weight loss but it didn't. I also ate a lot more than normal. I'm down another pound! Now that know the changes aren't affecting me, I won't weigh again until probably Sunday.

Getting ready to go into a meeting...bbl.

Do you add in jello that is already made or just add in the crystals?

The book says 2 TBL of fat/day...EVOO is a great choice--not fond of flax oil and can't cook with it. I use the high temp one to sautee chicken and on veggies to roast.

Good job on that extra 1#!!

Shari, I use different kinds of yogurt. Some Dannon thick and creamy and greek style brands.

Yay, on pound loss!

I have to get on scale everyday...........I can't wait. The suspense would kill me.

Thanks! I use the crystals. Some days I use the pudding too. Banana cream is my absolute fav. I usually use EVOO on my fish or chicken so it's not too dry. I did that in addition to the dressing yesterday.

Thanks! I know, it's not easy to give up jumping on the scale daily but for me, seeing normal fluctuations can ruin my day. Crazy but true. I know seeing a difference over a period of days is better for me now. Plus, it makes me concentrate more on how my clothes are fitting. The inch loss is incredible! I was reading on the other site how some people were only losing a small amount on the scale but dropped a whole dress size! Then other people were losing something like 15-18lbs in the 17days! Just don't know which way my body will decide to go...

Oh, I know about fluctuations. I guess I should have measured myself. 15-18 lbs..............wow. I know that won't be me. Once I went thru menopause the weight loss is really hard.

I tried measuring myself a few times, but I was so inconsistent about where the tape measure was, I gave up. I think at one point, I had 5 different size wardrobes in my closets. Now I just go "shopping" in the closet and try on my clothes. If it is too big, it goes into the "donate" pile; if it is too small, it goes back into the closet. I have basically weeded out all of my "big" clothes. I am wearing 12s which are getting looser. The majority of my clothes were 10s, and I had one size 8 dress pants and one pair of jeans--which I never wore.

Congrats on the 12's getting loose! Shopping in your closet is always fun when losing weight! I bet you'll be in those 8's when it's all said and done and have a larger 'donate' pile.

I have 10's-14's in my closet. Thankfully, I haven't had to grab the 14's in awhile but I know when I'm in the mid 170's and higher mark, those 12's fit too snug. Which lets me know where I'm at weight-wise

When I lost my weight before the cruise I lost around my middle, legs and boobs (which are not that big to begin with) but my belly bump was still there. Some pants are 12's and some 14. Depends on brand.

Funny how we lose weight. I lose going the same way as gravity...top to bottom...face, neck, boobs, waist, back fat, thighs/hips/booty=all the same to me..LOL. I have a hour-glass shape so some things I can wear in a smaller size up top, I may have to get a larger size down the bottom. It all varies. When I was the smallest I've been (158) 10's fit perfectly.

I'm such a whimp. I do good staying off the scale for a few days then I get addicted again. I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut and go with how I feel. I write what I 'plan' to do that day and end up doing something different. I guess it's best to just post the next day what I actually did the day before..lol. I can feel myself getting thinner and become curious to know if it's real. I'm sitting at 163.6 so the scale is consistently going down.

It is dreary out. I'm doing well..just drinking coffee and trying to get motivated to do all the stuff I need to get done today. Laundry, clean up, go grocery shopping, etc. All the fun things...

The scale habit was probably from doing the "juice". Hey if you feel like you are getting thinner you probably are. Posting what you did the day before is a good idea. You are doing it and that is all that really matters.
