She said don't people realize that the body fluctuates and we didn't gain all our weight in two weeks so why do we expect to lose it this way? I mean she really hit home. She also said we should expect the body to lose no more than 2lbs a week because it's healthy and realistic! I wanted to copy and paste here as a reminder but since I don't know her I didn't want to put it in my journal. I loved it though!
Morning Shari! Sausage............YUM!!
That post is so true!

Have a good weekend and congrats w/ your loss.

164.8, down 1.4! I'm so happy that LC is working for me again. I've been doing low fat for awhile so I think my body is loving the change and so am I.

I'm doing the same thing, eating until satisfied but not stuffing myself. I agree, when I was over 200 I could eat A LOT and still lose but not anymore. I refuse to calorie count so I just eat sensibly.

Scale went up today to 166.4, no cheat so must be normal fluctuations. I think it's my warning to stay off the scale daily...LOL. Can I take the hint?

Gotta get the kiddies up so will visit other journals when I get to work...happy Monday!

You all that read my journal will have to bear with me as I make changes/tweaks in my WOE. I'm trying to do a few things and it may take some adjusting to get it where I want it to be.

I put my food intake into *********** and see that my cals are averaging 1300-1400 and carbs around 40-50 (I'd like to be lower). What I'm most concerned about is my lack of veggies into my diet because I'm trying to keep carbs low and are getting them primarily from yogurt and fruit.

I'm considering for now just doing strict Atkins where I can lower my carbs to under 20, eat more veggies and then add the other things later in the plan. However I will not deprive myself of yogurt and fruit on the days I really want them.

There's that whole controversey surrounding yogurt and carb count, whey no whey, probiotics eat carbs--I think the jury is still out on it. I think each person handles/reacts to certain carbs differently. You will have to play around to see what works for you.

Right! As much as I don't want to log and calorie count, I'm going to have to to see what are my numbers that work for me...with weight loss and when I'm ready to maintain. I'm going back into ketosis though..at least I know that will give me optimal fat and inch loss.

Down 0.6...good enough for me. I've been slacking off with exercising..going from 5-6 days a week to around 3. Not bad but it could be better...that's how I slip into not doing anything at all.

Will visit other journals when I get to work.

Excellent!! I hear you about the exercise; I keep making excuses not to do more than the walking I currently do.

HAPPY TUESDAY!! It's going to be a hot one today. WATER WATER--must drink our water.
