Good morning ladies, yesterday was busy and I also took the day to make some decisions. I agree Gracie, I will always be on some type of 'diet'...Dr. Moreno said that and it was an eye opener, although I've known it he reminded me of this. Since reading that I've been thinking I need to do something that I am satisfied with and not cheating every week because I'm bored and want variety. I haven't decided exactly what yet but I know it will not be strictly the 17dd. I need/want more fat than allowed. The plan is wonderful and healthy so I'm trying to decide how to still add and keep the healthy components, fruit and yogurt while eating more fat and still lose.

Oops running late so gotta go, I'll finish the rest when I get to work and get a break..busy day expected.

Have a good day!

Good morning ladies, quick post before I exercise and be late for work... I've been busy at work and have just been in a lurking mode. I can't stay away too long though..LOL. I'm completing the c1 phase of 17dd which ends tomorrow. I didn't work the plan this round as well as the last but I've not given up! Still in the 160's which seem to be my stable range right now.
Wow, I realize I haven't exercised since Monday...no wonder my mood has been up and down... I can really tell a difference when not done consistently. I definitely don't want to slack in this area...

Morning, Shari! Looking forward to C2 tomorrow! Like you, I've been a bit more lax in this second round. I think I will stay on C2 till I either reach goal or stabilized at a comfortable weight, which may be where I am now. I think my body will tell me when I am there.

Is it higher fat? I have to look at the list again, I have the book at home or either I can look at the website to see. I want more fat and lower fat is not ideal for me long term so that's my hesitation....

Great idea! Our bodies have a way of letting us know it's not doing anything more at that time... You're soooo close to calling GOAL...how exciting!!

Today is my last day for C1 in 17dd. The plan works, actually I believe most plans work when you work it but I'm more satisfied with higher fat and want to have this option some days. I have to go to the grocery store tonight..out of coffee ...so I'm going to grab a few other things while there. For now, I'm going to stick with low carb meals, fruit and yogurt with exercise. It's not a specific plan but it's a healthy option for me now. My body will do what it needs to do so I'm working on not weighing daily...so much easier said than done but I did it before the protocol. I just have to change my mindset and know that I'm doing what's right for me and feels the best.

Sounds like a great plan. I'm positive you will do well. Just stick to it and live your life! You'll get over the scale soon enough too. Just eat, exercise, and live your life... and watch your body change right before your eyes. Take a pic here and there too; cause pictures don't lie - but the scale sure does .

I'm always tempted to weigh every morning, but I don't anymore. I don't need or want the stress first thing in the morning.

Exactly! I have to keep remembering that I'm not on the protocol anymore so daily losses will not happen. I know this so why set myself up?

Thanks Lo! It does feel good...no stress or pressure on myself. I had to come in early today so didn't exercise and I'm missing it. I will make up for it tomorrow. You're doing awesome yourself.

Scale was down 0.8..nothing to write home about but glad to see it's still going down.

Today starts my new WOE/lifestyle change and I'm looking forward to it. Had boiled eggs this morning and will have chicken legs for lunch. I forgot to pack my fruit..rushing out the house..so I may not have that today. I would like to still use Dr. Moreno's advice to eat fruit earlier in the day so I think I'll wait until tomorrow. Went to the store last night and stocked up on LC items!

I've been slacking in the water dept so I'm working on my first liter now and would like to get in at least 3 today.

Down 1.8!! I'm soo looking forward to having sausage this morning, something I haven't eaten at home for months. I was like a kid in the candy store while shopping for LC items.

I read a wonderful post by someone on another LC board where she said she was so tired of seeing people complain about gaining .2, .8 or even 1-2lbs. She said don't people realize that the body fluctuates and we didn't gain all our weight in two weeks so why do we expect to lose it this way? I mean she really hit home. She also said we should expect the body to lose no more than 2lbs a week because it's healthy and realistic! I wanted to copy and paste here as a reminder but since I don't know her I didn't want to put it in my journal. I loved it though!
