Yeah, thanks!! If I can just make it past these first couple of days! I know this is hard to get started but once I get going I am ok. I so want to lose this weight and am trying to do it right and stick it out....its only 21 days. And only 20 more. I can do this!!!!

Every Other Day Diet


Here is a good article about the every other day diet or simply JUDDD. I have been getting headaches and they recommend tomato juice (potassium) to help balance out electrolytes. He also says this is not a good diet for people with diabetes, hypertension, history of stroke, kidney disease, etc. Everyone doing JUDDD should read.

I know right!!! I'm going to buy some tomato juice for my DDs. I know my headache is most likely from low potassium. I have potassium supplements too. He also recommends a magnesium and calcium supplement on the DDs.

Good morning ladies and TGIF!!!! I haven't been getting much sleep this week because my darling daughter Erin figured out how to get out of her crib. We even have a crib tent that covers it!!! She ripped the mesh and escaped So she has been sleeping in my bed the last few nights and she does not keep still! I fixed the tent and once she fell asleep last night I put her in her crib. She slept til I had to take the other 2 kiddies to school I'm thinking about a toddler bed and a gate so she can't get out of her room at night.....

Today is a DD so I didn't weigh after my UD. I think I stayed around 2200 calories but I lost track My headache got better after I took some potassium. Today I'm going to take potassium, calcium, and magnesium because it's a DD. I read that DDs can cause constipation so magnesium it is!!! Not sure what I'm going to eat today??? Tonight is family bingo at church so I have to be careful.

Sunday is Gracie's first basketball game EVER!!! DH is her coach so I'm excited and nervous. Praying it's not an epic fail

I was laughing at how you baby escaped her crib!! Yall gonna have to watch her.... She is a clever little bugger! LOL Yea when my DD tried to start climbing I changed her bed to a toddler bed (I had the 4 in on bed) and then she got too tall for it (has long legs) and last year we switched it to a big girl bed (full size). She loves it!! Hopefully you can get your little escape artist a good bed and gate to keep her in her room. LOL and DD can not sleep with me... feet always end up in my ribs! She is rough!

Family BINGO sounds fun! Good luck to DD at her first BBall game. Hopefully they do well.

Too cute but tiring, I'm sure. Hope the toddler bed works. How exciting Gracie is now playing bball...I'm sure it'll go well. I've been having more foot cramps, at night right before bed so it's always in the evening. You think it's because of low potassium? Great article..thanks for posting.

HA! I changed Katelann's bed to a toddler bed a couple of months ago. And I got one of those side rail things. She will go and lay in her bed and "writes" until she falls asleep. Her bed is actually in our room. I have had a baby bed in my room for 8 years now..since ds1 was born. He slept in there or was suppost to. Then ds2 came along and took it over. And then dd came along and took it over. She sleeps in it more than any of the 3 does/did. She would rather sleep in her bed. I just have to hold her hand until she falls asleep. Which is usually less than 5 minutes.
We just bought some gates that you open with your foot. Best investment!!

DD for me too. Sipping on a little broth but nothing planned to eat today. I better get something together quick because with no plan I might over eat.

I have woken up every night this week because I get a HEEL in the EYE!!! OUCH!!!! I think she will really like a princess bed

For sure the foot cramps are from low potassium. I took 3 supplements yesterday and felt better. I guess on our DDs we need the extra supplements. I need to buy some V8 juice. Be careful of dehydration too on those DDs - make sure you're getting in your water.

Is Katelann older or younger than Erin? I can't remember These kids have sucked the little brain I have left right out of my head That is so cute that you hold her hand til she falls asleep - I love it!!!

Busy weekend (again)! We had family bingo on Friday night, sports pictures on Saturday morning/afternoon, Santa lunch on Saturday late afternoon, and basketball games yesterday I feel like I have so much to get done for Christmas and no time! This week is even worse! We have basketball games on Thursday and Friday night. Then Saturday we have the football/cheer banquet from 12:30-3:00 and then DH's work Christmas party starting at 6:30 pm. Then Sunday is my niece's 2nd birthday party!!! There will be no rest!

Dietwise I didn't do great this weekend. Friday I stuck to a good DD then Saturday was a definite UD. Yesterday I started good but then ended in a sugar coma Oh well, no weighing today and I will do a good clean DD. Hoping tomorrow's weight isn't too bad!

Wow, you are busy!! Hopefully you can have some rest in between all that's going on. You're doing good...at least during the week you can release any pounds gained during the weekend.
I know too right now I just can't do a DD during the weekends..it's too hard with all that's going on. Maybe one day...just do the best you can! Do you have a lot left to do regarding Christmas shopping? That can be stressful alone if not....

Yesterday was a DD that turned into a medium day. I ordered Sarris candy from school and ended up eating some later in the evening. My weight this morning was pretty much the same as last Tuesday. I guess that's good but I'm not losing!!! I'm down about 6 lbs from JUDDD and a total of 13-14 since August 1st. At least I'm not gaining, right?

So, what do I do today? It's supposed to be an UD but I didn't do a real DD yeterday. I am going to a lunch for work on Thursday so it has to be an UD. Decisions, decisions........

Yes, the main thing is that you're not gaining. I know how you feel though, wanting to see some lower numbers on the scale than seen before.
I would love to be in VWL territory...which I haven't had in over a year, anything lower than 158. It's especially difficult with so many holiday activities going on too. I'd make today an UD personally since you know Thursday you're going out for lunch.

It's so frustrating! Every single day I think about opening my new bottle of hhcg spray If I can maintain through the holidays and then do a 100% intentional round in January, I would be happy. My weight is just bouncing from 187-190 lbs. for the last couple weeks. I am most comfortable around 180 lbs. If I maintain and then do a round protocol in January I could potentially get in the low 170's

I know!!! I wish I was as motivated and focused to do another pure round..I'd easily get to at least the low 150's. I've been bouncing around 167-169 for weeks!! I'm not as tempted as you to do protocol right now, the thought of eating low-fat food just turns me off. I want the results though....
