This journey is sure not an easy one... I wish I had my 18 year old daughters genes... that girl is in a size 0 and eats like a truck driver...

So interesting how we have all sizes and shapes of bodies in our family... and I guess some of us were just meant to be on this road...

Hello Deb & friends. Sorry Ive been missing in action. My lovely mother is losing her battle with breast cancer. I am beyond words. Even though she has been sick since 2009. The cancer has been inactive for almost 1yr now. The cancer has spread to her brain, and its only a matter of time. She has been my rock, my friend, my teacher, my everything. I cannot nor did I ever imagine the rest of my life without her. i dont want you to think I dont have good memories. She had a bucket list that we have completed so much of in the last 18mos. We have done more as a family than ever. I am so grateful for that time. I know she was happy, and is going out the way she wanted. Who can ask for more than that!

Marva, sorry to hear about your mother but glad you got some real great quality time in with her.

Deb, glad I can motivate you to move more but I have to say I don't call it "exercise". My philosophy is that I "go out and play". Kinda like when I was a kid. I never said "Mom, I am going out to exercise". I said "play" so that is how I look at it. Being 12 forever.

Marva, I'm sorry about your mom. Like others have said, find comfort in your time together and memories you're setting for life. There are no words that can totally express my thoughts and what you're having to go through now but please know that I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. She's beautiful!

Good Morning Friends.. I am not here as much this week because I have 2 kids graduating this weekend and next. My oldest from College, and my middle daughter from High School. Of course they both want big parties, so I have been cleaning like a crazy woman and getting our backyard ready for the pool to open.. all that fun stuff.

I am using this for MUCH MORE exercise... my gosh I am just dead tired.. but I know I am burning calories!!.. it's all good!

I hope everyone is doing well today, Pati, have you started your next round yet? My head is still not into it at all, so I will probably hold off on it, until at least after these festivities...

How exciting! 2 graduations!!!! WOOHOOO!!!

I did start. Yesterday was p2d1 of my redo of round 2. I'll be honest, it's a whole heck of alot harder than when I started my 1st round. My head is IN IT but my body isn't (if that makes any sense). I plan on STICKING TO IT, WITH IT AND GIVING IT MY ALL THO!!! (summer = no hiding in clothes! EEEKKKK

)

I can totally understand why you aren't in it yourself. I think I wouldn't be either. Are you still dosing?

My picture is of my youngest daughter and her 2 friends when we went to an Adam concert last summer. They wanted to have a picture doing something different, so I just took it... shows divesity for sure...

We are all different sizes, shapes, and all that jazz..

Hang in there Patikins!! I know when these 2 weeks are finally over, I will be facing myself in the mirror and going ACK! SUMMER IS HERE!!!.. you are right.. we can't cover as much in the summer.. at least and not sweat to death...
