I think doing so many rounds or ATTEMPTING to, is messing with our heads... I swear you almost have to be PERFECT to do this thing as it is written. This may be worse for us, than if we never did it...

Sounds wierd, but I think striving to be strong, and perfect, and in control, is really tough. We are always hard on ourselves anyway, and this is making it worse, at least for ME it is... so lighten up and just give yourself credit.

NOBODY IS PERFECT!!

We are our worst critics, cut yourself some slack. If it helps, I totally messed up a round not too long ago and had to dust myself off and get back in the game. I want you to know it took time but I am in the game for now, now tomorrow we shall see.

You are working on yourself daily and that is all that really matters.

Hey, Deb & friends!

Deb - hon, you've got to realize something - you've lost 100 lbs! What you could get away with back then probably won't cut it now. It doesn't mean that you're a failure, it just means that you have to change tactics. Maybe you can't be 100% rogue now and still lose, but maybe you can still get away with 75%.

A friend of mine who did HCG successfully said that calories mattered more than what you ate. So maybe it's as easy as just lowering yours a little more to find your sweet spot.

Very good advice Laura! I know I can't eat like I did before and lose.. It just won't work with less fat to burn... soooooooo .. I love your idea of just lowering cals... I can do that... thanks hon, you are a wealth of knowledge and support!

I'm just breezing through to give you . You are an amazing person Deb. I am glad you are taking it one day at a time and enjoying life whatever it is at the moment. Sometimes its nice just to stop, live in the moment, take a deep breath and smell the flowers. You have accomplished so much and you should be proud.

IT sure is!!! I am so grateful! Since allowing myself to relax this week, I am just feeling so much better, thank you Shari!

Decided I am going to just keep an eye on the cals I put into my mouth, and aim for a pound or two a week. No pressure to stick to a certain plan. I can have what I really want, but within limits... If I don't have some kind of limits, I don't really know how much I eat.

So far after 3 days I am settling in and feeling good! Also exercising every day or two. Life is better today.

Sometimes the most common sense stuff just doesn't seem so common sense, does it?

Have combined my 5 favorite eating plan. Atkins, hcg, juddd, dukan.... oh, yeah, moon phases.lol. I guess I have learned something from all of these.
I am feeling much better and have lost 8# in 10 days, even though I know it's mostly water weight it sure is encouraging. This is the easy part, next week the tough stuff starts, to keep going.
Good luck to all of us.

Hi deb. Sorry I haven't been around. I see you are finding some balance in your life and with your diet. You have done and will, no doubt, continue to do amazing.

Accepting we are not perfect is a huge accomplishment in my book. It allowed me to call goal

Hi Jackie!! Missed you girl! Thank you, I do think that I will succeed no matter how long it takes now.. I am just so happy I have broken through a mental block that I have had for years now. Nobody is perfect, can't be held to perfection.. it does not exist... I need to see how awesome things are going for YOU right now.. !! such a wonderful time for your family I am sure!

for breaking through that mental block! Because really, it's better to be good 95% of the time than it is to be perfect 10% of the time!
