Hi Diane! Catching up a bit from yesterday. You will be SO GLAD you took pictures. I am envious that you have a waist!! I am built like a barrel on sticks. I can relate to eating MORE of *whatever* rather than go totally off plan. I ended up doing that same sort of thing later in the day yesterday. I really do think it's better than diving into sugarcarbies and then having to detox from them all over again.

Celery root. Never tried that. Sounds like I should!

Have a good day and I hope you get some eggs soon!

Eggs will arrive tomorrow with the rest of the groceries, I used the last of them last night so at least I dont have to go too long without them...and in the meantime I have the not-so-good scones to keep me company. I made icing with banana davinci syrup and erythritol powdered sugar and spread it on them...kinda masks the carbalose taste. I so wanted to make goodies with the new bake mix I have here but I guess that will have to wait til tomorrow

A not so good scone is better than no scone, LOL You can always dunk in coffee, LOL Carbquick does have an off taste that is why I like it better for savory items versus sweet items, just my opinion, I always think it loses it rise after you have a it while, the last time I used it everything got really flat,

What I have is the carbalose which is just a flour replacement. Not the bake mix. I have found a few recipes for bake mixes though and think I will play around with them mixed half and half with the carbalose. I hear it helps reduce the flavor problem and the carbalose helps the other bake mixes work better.

Now I just need to wait for the eggs! *taps finger impatiently*

Hi Diane good luck with the test results! I tried making pancakes with that flour and they were awfull so I gave up on that stuff. I tried the celeriac a few weeks back and I was plesently suprised but now I can't get them grrr but I also like butternut squash with some chille flakes on them and oven cooked

Good morning Diane! Did you get your eggs yet? I buy the giant costco pack of eggs and I get nervous if I have anything less than 3 dozen in the fridge! Same with butter. I start sweating if I don't have at least 6 cubes hanging around. I am so spoiled!

How are you feeling today? You seem chipper in your posts, I like that and hope it means you're hanging in there!

Mmmm Majella the butternut Squash sounds divine...I want!

Angela I order to 30 packs at a time from the grocery but only get delivered once a month. I knew I was getting low but thought I could make it till today, I did get close! We have a corner store thats only two blocks away if I HAVE to have something thankfully. BOth grocery stores near here are really NOT so near and both require switching buses. Why oh WHY cant they have a grocery store that only requires getting on ONE bus?
I only have to wait 2 1/2 hours for my eggs now

I am feeling a bit better, still a bit of a slug and really hoping my test results get here soon. I was looking into the mood cure book and was on their web site today. One of the pages on there talks about aminos and so I clicked over to it. It has a chart showing what aminos can be coontraindicated with certain medical problems and then I noticed down at the bottom that a few of the aminos can cause jitteryness. THAT'S IT...that's what I was feeling the day after I started them and I have a few other times too...it's the damn aminos! (BTW~ this is a completely different thing then the slug affect) I have decided to drop them for now and not pick them back up till I study them a bit more and know which ones might help me. I think this particular mix is not for me.

They didnt really help control my munchies anyway. I have had HORRIBLE munchies the last three days. I mean serious food binges. I am assuming that TOM has something to do with this. I have always had a huge craving for sweets around this time every month so I guess it makes sense. Even though I have wanted to eat a whole cow I have resisted eating anything high carb and NO sugar at all! Actually even though I ate enough to feel STUFFED I never hit 50 carbs. (although yesterday was close) So for now I am just going to stick to low carb and not kick myself if I eat quite a bit. Until I get the results back I am not going to try anything different. I dont see any sense in it if my hormones are a mess. If I find that the problem isnt my thyroid I will drop down to maybe 10 carbs and see what happens, Do what those other girls were doing by adding a few carbs each day till they stopped losing weight. Some were saying they had to stick at 15 carbs a day to lose. I really hope that's not me

go into the journal threads, find yours...don't open it. Scroll across your journal name, highlight it then copy and paste it to your sig.

Yes. I highlight then copy paste and all I get is the title to the thread but its not a link. If I highlight and copy the address then paste it all I get is the address link, not a linked title. I even tried an HTML link code and it didnt work.

I had missed the insert link at top of the box, there is another one next to it with a red x over it, I thought the insert link was disabbled. I typed out the title in the box, highlighted it then clicked insert link and added the link. I have done this a million times other places but that symbol threw me off here

Hello there! I must look into that signautre thingy too. We are spoiled here with a 24hour supermarket. They sell these organic corn fed hen eggs and they are lovely but expensive. My fingers are crossed for you Diane, hope u dont have to go so low carb

Great signature Diane!

I can't imagine being so far away from a supermarket. Mine is literally 2 minutes from my house. I am very spoiled.

Have a great day!

I usually don't mind it Janet as they deliver so I dont have to go there often anyway. The corner store is more like a mini grocery store. They do have a fruit stand and fresh meats and cheeses. Just not a good selection and higher prices.

I couldn't survive without it here Amber. We don't have a car by choice and dont really want one either, not till we settle at least as we may go overseas again. I love it! I actually used to have my groceries delivered in Seattle too so I do know you can get that some places there.

I finished up some of my dyeing today, Several colors turned out real well

These are the keepers. A few didn't match what I was trying to get so I am doing some over. Really hope this lady likes her custom colors. I hate when they dont!

OH BTW~THe groceries came...and NO EGGS
Guess this is my day of not getting what I wanted, went to the mailbox twice and no mail at all. So waiting for the results still.
I had to walk to the corner store to get eggs. I dont knwo if I will be up to baking tonight but I want to be prepared!

My grocery store has a delivery service but I'd rather pick my own supplies when and if I need it. Plenty of stores around here.
