Totally, totally cool! A couple of challenges for me...I will be the boss, I have no clue how to be/nor interest or expertise in being a personal trainer and ...sadly... there are no "AFTER HOURS' for me! I work all hours.

our anniversary is monday and to make fathers day and anniversary easier on pat i did all the yard work today and also tonight made pat and grandma a strawberry/rhubarb crisp.....even picked the rhubarb from my garden....call me betty crocker...lmao....hopefully we are going on a little day trip monday to here for a little getaway...

Jan~get those clothes OFF. I've never worn shorts until lately, I bought some denim shorts that hit right above my knee, I love em! My calves look okay but my thighs are a mess. Get your toes painted and some pretty sandals. Wear some flowing cotton skirt that hits at the ankle. Throw a lovely, beachy sarong around your bathing suit. Be cool and happy. Report back after your shopping spree.

We do have your back! Loins are girded and ready for venting.

I agree with the others, Jan! Clothes OFF! No one else notices, honest. And if you can focus on your progress instead of your perceived shortcomings, you'll be all the happier! Why suffer? Life is too short. Look at it this way: On your deathbed, you won't be wishing you had covered up more! Instead, you want to be able to say that you lived life to the fullest......and that includes being comfortable!!!

Thanks all. I did get my toes (and fingers) done yesterday. Then took a lovely, lovely 6 mile hike. I even carried a small child some of the time!

Today is going to be all about hair. perm and color. i like being beautified at the end but i don't like sitting still.

Definitely go with what makes you comfortable. don't forget your shape is already VERY GOOD, it's time for you to enjoy the newly improved body think how you wanted to be in this body one year, two years ago. ENJOY it!! and don't sweat over small imperfections. WE ALL HAVE those, and that's NORMAL!!

one more reason to hook you up with exercising... haha, our skin does gets more flexible with exercising, if not right after weight loss, maybe within a year or two, you will see your skin smoother and tighter with workouts. exercising triggers GROWTH hormone and that's good for everything, including your skin.

I'm taking 75 six year old to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the day tomorrow (with LOTS of chaperones). for me!!!!

I LOVE the aquarium. I LOVE the little guys. NOT looking forward to the bus ride. I'm pretty sure I will earn my exercise points tomorrow...and most likely angel points too!!!!!

My new hair color is so not what I asked for. But I'm not sure I hate it.

You all know i had a wonderful time! I took funny pictures of the kids asleep in the bouncing bus for us to enjoy tomorrow. It was 70 at the beach and 103 here in town. THEN, I drove in a different direction and took my little grandsons (with their parents) to the Beach Boardwalk! They are on vacation this week...and I was pretending I am too. lolol! And dang, nobody did my work for me while i was out playing.

How is everyone else doing? Have you seen extreme makeover weight loss? it's brutal. fascinating. filled with hope. and so sad, all at the same time.

i AM liking the color a lot this week! lol!

I am on a sort of dieting/exercise hiatus - eating a lot of nuts, staying lowish carb/lowish cals, added alcohol, and way too much diet coke - totally maintaining weight, but not really "maintaining" because i'm not eating or exercising how i want at this time. (and how I will get back to). lots going on...I am so blessed! (and busy!)

clothing update...sorry to disappoint you ladies, but short pants or short sleeves are not in my near future. I did buy a spanks-like camisole and tights this weekend, which I have on for the first time right now. you are all such young things that you might not comprehend the sagginess i'm talking about that i don't care if it shows in my private life, but intend to cover up in my professional life.
