12/05: 149.6 12/06: 150.2 still vlc, <5g, and enjoying when the exercise time is over. 12/07: 12/08: 12/09: 12/10: 12/11: 12/12: aiming for 147 week 2 goals for today: more water, exercise. does anyone else feel bad/guilty/aware of taking time away from other important people or activities when taking time for yourself to exercise? i knew this was/is a barrier for me in establishing/maintaining a work out routine. i have so much work to do that taking half an hour for ME feels wrong. i have started exercising n the late afternoon in the gym at work...2 steps from my office. i rationalize that i feel better, get a burst of energy for the evening and am being a role model for my staff...all true. i still feel like i should be working. so, too bad. i NEED to be healthy, strong, flexible...slender and feeling good! my turn! |

Sounds like you have it under control and are doing well! I like the idea of not baking so... not eating the cookies. I know you have a weight goal, but I'm so impressed that you wear a baggy size six! I can't even imagine that!
I feel like I'm back to normal on my JUDDD plan after having so much stuff happen in November..the wedding and Thanksgiving and having so much company at my house. My biggest goal lately has been to make it through my down day and I've been succeeding at that. I do get a little cranky when I wake up to a sink full of dishes the morning after I didn't get to eat the dinner, ....I don't have a weight goal for December but I do want to stay true to the plan. I'll let the pounds fall where they will (or not). I had a long plateau this past summer and I'm hoping I'm not heading for another one, but if so, I'll just keep at it and eventually the pounds will go away!

Yay, visitors! Danielle, YOU can exercise too (if I can you can!) Just consider all of those moving boxes as your "induction exercise"....and see...you're already on your way! It's funny but after only a few weeks I am craving movement. Why do I always forget (get too lazy/make excuses) how good it feels? One of my coworkers is developing some quite serious complications from diabetes, and she's overweight and underexercised. Today she had coffee and a cupcake for breakfast. I had coffee and a piece of roast beef. She said she could never do that, that sweets are part of "quality of life".
I NEED to exercise. All of you LCFers can remind me when I whine that I need to be strong and flexible with enough energy to enjoy my life. blonde - whose dishes are YOU washing? and...why are they not doing their own? put the dirty dishes in a black garbage bag. all done i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your confidence that those unwanted pounds will find a new home. let's both that it will be soon!has anyone talked to dawn? missing her! |

Jan, the black garbage bag idea sounds fabulous...except....DH regularly checks them to make sure we aren't losing too much silverware in the trash....ANF he finds forks and spoons all the time. He's a funny guy.
I've been getting lots of exercise at work! We've been so busy this week with the cold and rain, everybody wants soup and salad. My shifts have been extra long and extra busy, and the money's been good! |

Mornin' Jan! Yep, still hosting the little girlies. I swear they exhibit signs of puberty. Moody, emotional and sometimes downright screechy. I have a slight ability to tame the little tigers so I've been assigned hair duties in the mornings before school. I have to remind them to give each other personal space. If they get too close for too long...somebody starts crying. *sigh* I feel I've made things too easy and comfortable around here.
Hi Princess Dawn! Christine having a time goal works really well. I haven't had a good goal since my DD got married in November. It really kept me on the straight and narrow. I have to find another one soon. Summer is coming (mentally runs screaming around and around the dining room table, pulling own hair). HA! Getting my butt in gear as we speak. |
