Sorry Kitty, we are still getting rain, uggggggh I am so tired of it and chilly weather. It is suppose to warm up next week, can't be to soon for me.

Today was just another day for me at work. Miss Minnies next door neighbor is dieing and might be gone when I get to work in the morning. She was running a high 105* temp last night, poor thing..... Miss Minnie is so sad about it but that's life in a retirement village where the average age is well over 90. We went to Goodfellas for lunch today, I got the grilled shrimp salad, it is to die for. After work went to the tanning bed for my 20 mins of calm, I am really getting dark, by the time summer finally strikes I will look like my brothers and sis's...took almost 56 yrs to get there. I would have made me ma proud. Jeff has picked up the stomach flu, man I never knew anyone could puke and poop as much as he has, he missed work today and might not go in tomorrow. If Jeff misses a days pay he is definatly one sick puppy. Well got to go dear diary...till next time.

Amber, you do not have to DO EVERYTHING before your surgery! relax, relax, relax. This isn't like you're leaving the country, you're just getting some fat removed and you'll be back to your regular life in no time.

I do the same thing!!! I end up doing this too, then wonder why I did so much, planned so much, packed so much.....

You will be back to your not so normal self (sans wings of course

) before you know it and wondering why you worried so much

Well Mrs Matthews Miss Minnie's next door neighbor passed on this morning and I got chosen to be the lucky one to break it to her. Although we were expecting it... it does'nt make it any easier to take, so she has been down all day. I took Minnie to get her hair fixed and then went to tan for my 20 mins of solitude, it feels so good to relax those few mins before coming home. Going to fix hot wings for dinner tonight, there easy and I just don't feel like doing much this evening. Till next time....

Amber I am a home health care giver, I have been with Miss Minnie for almost 4 yrs, Amber I love her more, she is a sweetheart. You know you are in my thoughts and prayer for your speedy surgery and recovery. Tony is going to have to be you at least for a few and let us all know how you are.

You truly are a blessing for these people. I could never do that. I get too attached! I'd be a mess every day! It is bad enough that I get worked up about so many kids' sad situations I know about and not much I can do to help them out. I have come home many days crying my eyes out.

To deal with end of life illnesses daily...I tip my hat to you and raise the flag for you girl!!!

Thanks y'all for the kind words, it's tuff when you have to tell a sweet little elderly lady that someone has died and I have had to do it twice now and next time it's someone elses turn. I worked with a lady who was diagnosed with Lung Cancer last spring, she had to quit work and fought it bravely, she died in January and I had to tell Minnie...she loved Nancy and that death broke her heart. I am going back to weighing daily, the not knowing what is happening during a whole week is freaking me out worse than the daily weighing did so tomorrow I am going to start back. Dang it is cold here, it's suppose to get to 65* today I wish it would hurry up already...I am so ready for old man winter to die. Everyone that reads this have an awesome Sat.

ETA: I went bra shopping last night, I have gone from a 38C down to a 36D. WOOOHOOOO the girls are shrinking.

Mine got bigger for a while when I was losing! Did not make me happy! The opposite of what I had expected! They finally have "shrunken" down to a normalish size
