Frenchie- if I can do this so can you!!! You most certainly can and will do it!!!! We are all living proof of foodies that you can do it!!!!!! You need support and you need to know what will help you stick to it, some like the daily weigher thread, others like me need to declare every thing LOL, whatever it is that you need just say the word!! Most of us are over 40 except for a few babies, age has no barrier to the weight loss, and we are all cougars, LOL

Laura and Amber thank you so much for the warm welcome. I certainly do hope I can do this. I have to get healthy so I can keep up with that young hubby of mine! I started a journal because I think it is a great idea to help me be accountable to myself and I love to be able to look back through things later to see how I have changed. Let's hope it's a big one

Hey all, today was a better day. Minnie and I went out to lunch alone which was great. Thank goodness she felt better, she makes a whiney patient. I took her to the beauty shop to get all prettied up, she love that. We planted out garden today, I always over shoot my load and ended up getting to many plants so now Jeff has to run me another row to plant the cukes. We are suppose to get some rain tonight so it's good we...hehe, Jeff got it done. Love to you all

Laura, sounds like you had a wonderful day! I wish I had a place for a garden. Right now we have two balconies and I have plants all around the edges of the one. I sent away for heirloom seeds this year for my herbs and started several new ones. I dont have any vegetables though and really wish I did. I love fresh homegrown veggies!

Weather seems to be warming up here. Going to get really warm tomorrow...near 80...then storms! Eek!!!
