Step class was good but crowed. It's a small room and we had 10 people in the class. If you put more then 7 or 8 people in there it gets crowed. When we were on the floor doing abs and leg lifts I was afraid the guy behind me was going to whack me in the head with his foot. When we do the lunges I get wobbly but I haven't fell yet LOL!

OK I will keep watching you guys, one thing that appeals to me is real food and all food groups, I learned first hand you need good carbs to fuel and repair your body so it seems sensible going forward, and we all need a treat without undoing an entire weeks worth of work, that is what I hate the most about LC it is so unforgiving!

Good morning!

Amber, you are right LC is very unforgiving. If you eat off plan for one day you can gain 5 lbs and it can take a week to get it off. With WW PP you just use some of you extra 49 weekly points. I'm glad that I can be an example. To show it is possible to eat healthy carbs and have a treat from time to time.... and still lose weight! I'm not here to try to change anyones mind. I know that LC is good, but for me it didn't work, but this does. If I can help others that are struggling by showing them there is another way, then that makes me happy.

It's going to be a crazy couple of weeks at work. My supervisor had surgery yesterday and will be out for about 2 weeks. So now I'm doing my work and hers. Trying not to stress over it too much.

Nikki I can honestly say that I have been reading your posts lately while remaining in hiding and became so inspired by your awesome results. The smart ones ice cream last night that I had made me feel like I was cheating but I wasn't. Then to see the scale down this morning made me even more motivated.

LC is very unforgiving...and for a girl who likes her night's out... uhhhhh, doesn't always work out so well For me to say that I'm never going to have *something* again.... impossible...not ever gonna happen...and then goes the endless cycle of the yo-yo... I'm just so done. Keepin it simple and easy and making smart choices.. jeez, I sound like a Bob Harper ad!

Hang in there honey, those 2 weeks will sail by quick! One day at a time and no stress please.

Reva, good going lady! How exciting to be seeing some changes already. The smart one desserts are very yummy indeed...I love the cookie dough ice cream too. Keet it up, you're off to the most fabulous start!

Nikki it is encouraging, cause you are so right that disappointment from eating one thing and then failing for the week is miserable!!!! It is so mentally defeating!!!! LC works at first then like I think your body gets used to it and it messes with you something fierce, I am sure that is why I have not lost, I am quite sure my body is royally messed up and that is why I want to eat healthy and eat all the food groups, I never think that eliminating one group is good!

Hi ladies!

Reva, I'm so glad you are seeing results already.

Amber, you are right I think it is important to get all the food groups. Making one food group off limits can make us go crazy when we do eat something "forbidden".

I'm so pooped! I had to work late today and I just don't feel like working out. So I'm crawling in here to post my menu then I'm cleaning my kitchen and going to take a long hot shower.

Thank y'all for always being so supportive of me.

Today's menu

B- cheerios and fat free milk
Snack- banana
Lunch- lean pocket and special K crackers
Snack- apple with peanut butter
Supper- baked chicken and broccoli and cheese
Desert- Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich

Last night my uncle passed away. He had stage 4 lung cancer. I'm so sad that I can't go home to be with the family. It really sucks living so far from home.

I work this weekend, I work 9 days then I should be off next weekend but I have to work next Sunday because my supervisor is out.

My menu for today

Breakfast- cheerios and skim milk
Snack- banana
Lunch- Chicken and pasta Smart One
Snack- Kiwi, grapes and orange fruit bowl
Supper- not sure yet

Wow Nikki, really sorry to hear that about your Uncle. Thoughts going out to you today.

Ugh...hate those long stretches of work days...dh goes thru that every other week and its rough on the whole family... hang in there honey!

Just so ya know, I think I am back on the WW wagon. I think I motivated my BFF to do it too so it's all good! Had a good day yesterday with food and can't tell you how good I feel this morning mentally from it!

Have a great day sweets!

D- I'm glad you are giving WW another go. So cool that your BFF is doing it with you. ..... Yeah I have the long weeks like that every other week too. After 3 years you would think I would be use to it but I'm not.

Last summer when I first tried WW I was doing really well...before I hurt my foot and all I think WW suits my lifestyle alot easier even tho I do like lc more its just not gonna get me where I wanna go I don't think. Bryan made me take out my log when I was doing WW and in the few short weeks I'd done it, I somehow managed to lose like 12 pounds with it. So, I know I can do this! Dunno how I lost sight of this fact, or that it's better suited to our lifestyle...ah well, at least I'm doin it now.

About the bi-weekly schedule...yeah you'd think we'd be used to it too after 12 years in the industry...just doesn't get easy I don't think...its hard being a family with kooky schedules like that yanno.. he's working upwards of 65-75+ hrs a week.. I admire you for being able to focus so well on your weightloss and working long hours and days!

This weekend SUCKS!

Last weekend my supervisor took a wedding cake order. Before she left for her surgery she told us we didn't have a wedding cake for this weekend but we do for the 17th. On Friday we baked alot of King Cakes but when we came in on Sat morning they were all gone. So we did our breads and Sat cake orders and then made more king cakes. We ended up working almost 11 hours yesterday. We left work a little after 3. Then a little after 4 I get a call from my co worker saying that the store manger had called her to ask where the wedding cake was that was suppose to be delivered at 2. She tells him we were told it was next week and to look at the order. He looks at it and says yeah its the 17th. Then he looks at it closer and said no there is a smudge from copied paper that made it look like the 17th when it was really the 11th. So the bride and her sister are up there crying and yelling. The manager gives them back their money and gives them free sheet cakes that we had made in the show case. The wedding was at 5pm and there was no way we could make a 3 tier wedding cake in an hour! I feel so bad for the bride!! I live in a small town and this wedding had 150 people and word travels fast in this town. This can be really bad for the business.
Today at work the cashiers and the meat market guys were picking at us about it. They were asking wheres there wedding cakes and why we didn't do it. And telling us how important the cake is at a wedding. Made us feel really bad but it was out of our control.

Awwwww, I love the bike!!!! Very very sweet indeed! ♥ I wish I had a real place to ride a bike around here... too much traffic and knowing me, I'll get runover by some crazy punk kid driving around in mommy's Mercedes. I will keep my feet firmly planted on the ground.

Sorry to hear about the wedding cake fiasco...thats rough..but hey, not your fault at all so tell all those people tryin to make fun to go pound sand! Hope the week flys for ya honey!

Happy V-day hun! I just read about the cake fiasco, that sucks, but you know what it needs to be a lesson learned about communication and taking orders, I pity the bride, but you know what cake is cake as long as it is good cake I learned to not sweat the small stuff! But some brides are not that easy!

Forget about it, you are doing great!

Thanks ladies!

So the store manager is ticked off, but not at me and my coworker. He is mad at the supervisor. It really sucks being short at work, all the King Cakes and Valentine's Day stuff.... I have been so busy!!! Work was so stressful that when I got home I went on a 30 minute bike ride to clear my mind.

Oh my husband had one other surprise for me. He got me Breaking Dawn part 1 on DVD. I my hubby!

Yes, next Tuesday is Mardi Gras, after that things should slow down at work. I'm ready for a break... These 10 hour days 9 days straight are wearing me down.
I'm still on plan but I do think I am eating more, I guess do to the stress.

I'm hanging in there , once lent starts things will slow down until Easter. We have a new manager now and she is going to be great. Hopefully they will hire us a new person to get trained before Easter.

I hope the weather is nice this evening so I can go for a bike ride after work. It is good to clear the mind.
