I know I am not low in the potassium and iron department but temptation can kick me in the rear sometimes. I need to tweak my menu. Definitely. Eating more during the week means less binging episodes on the weekends.

I managed to lose the binge weight of the weekend and still truckin' along. I was hungry last night after my meal of egg white, 2 ham slices, 1/2 whole wheat lavash bread with laughing cow creamy Swiss wedge and a teaspoon of garlic hummus. A half cup of non-fat cottage cheese did the trick. Filled me up just enough.

Reminding myself to buy some yogurt to mix in with the cottage cheese, too.

A little sore from last night's workout and also tired in general. I have a lot of trouble sleeping at night. And TOM has not shown up in months. It's either my diet or symptoms of perimenopause. I know I mentioned this is a previous post but I would not mind one bit if early menopause happened!

I got some yummy ideas from the cottage cheese thread, too.

According to the Fitbie - Daily Calorie Counter, I need to eat 2,520 calories to maintain my current weight.

I KNOW I eat far less calories than that.

I'm doing pretty well today. We went to the buffet last night and I hardly ate. I splurged a bit with a few chips, beans and cheese with sour cream. I mostly ate like a bird!

Strange appetite I have. I decided this weekend to do more of a lower carb style of eating. We'll see how that works out.

Today is also a special day! 8 month wedding anniversary! YAY! I am such a newlywed!

LJB, please remember, this way of life is about regaining order and control over your relationship with food. You really aren't eating very much hon. I worry a little about that for you.

Ugh! Remind me never again to eat anything at Applebee's. Sick all evening! I do feel better this morning thank goodness.

I don't even know why I bother eating out at all. I am starting to dislike the food other people make me.

OMG Lora! We won't eat at Appleby's anymore. I got sick the last time too. I agree, it's very hard to trust eating out. We have a very limited few places we go, when we get to go. And now we are back on our strict budget again, eating out will be few and far between.

Start cooking at home. You can make wayyyy better and way better for ya fare at home. That's for sure and at a fraction of the cost!

I am more worried about my husband than me!

I think if I learn to make a quality chicken parm at home, he won't want to eat out ever again!

Hi there, I found you! I am so envious of your visits to the gym. I really wish there were one here so I could work with weights again. I think I am happiest when I can train with weights. Pooti is right..you eat like a bird!
You are doing great though, when I had my worst insomnia was when I had an iron deficiency AND my thyroid quit functioning. Talk about a non stop nightmare. I was a walking zombie! Hope you get some sleep soon

I'm sure there are plenty of places to walk and ride a bike where you live. You don't need a gym! Get some weights at one of those big department stores in Germany. Maybe a set of 3kg weights as a start?

I plan on going to bed early tonight and see if I can catch some Zzzzz's. I may take a sleeping to prevent me from waking up every hour.

And thank you for stopping in! WOO HOO! Very excited!

I would be walking and riding a bikeif I could but Doc has me on restrictions. I have severe bursitis and tendonitis in my left hip from a bad fall on the ice last year. I am doing what I can at home without straining the hip, I will definitely check out the stores in Kehl, thanks!

Good Morning!
I do my own training and I think I am my own worst enemy. I keep pushing myself to do a little more each day.

Tonight will be triceps and biceps along with a higher resistance on the elliptical for 20 minutes of HIIT. I did a higher resistance last night...whoamy legs can feel it!!

Tomorrow is my WI and am not looking forward to it. I told the girl not to say anything positive or negative and place the sticker in my book without a word.

Good Morning, All!

Had a rough couple of eating days. Back on track this week! I honestly do think my husband is afraid I am getting skinny too fast. His friends are no help either! I have about 2 weeks to go before we head to Philly from my niece's confirmation and I want to look good! I need to crack down and start tracking everything I eat. Add my healthy oils and vegetables and less eating out!

Better said than done but I will do!

Breakfast: Low-carb pita, LC Lite Creamy Swiss Wedge, teaspoon each of garlic hummus and fat free refried beans, 1-1/2 egg whites

Snack: 1/2 green apple, cheese stick

Lunch: Grilled Vegetable Boca Burger, Low-carb pita, LC Lite Creamy Swiss Wedge, teaspoon of garlic hummus, a few grapes, 1/2 green apple (if hungry)

Snack: Almonds, banana, a few grapes

Dinner: Garlic butter white fish on a low-carb pita with hummus and romaine lettuce.

My weekend was a bust except the workout and successful weigh in but back in the saddle this week. Adding more vegetables, egg whites and fish is what I need to stay on top and have more energy for my workouts. I can feel myself getting stronger and it is beginning to slow in my shoulders and arms. (Definitely a lot more stretch marks.) I need to find my Palmer's Cocoa butter lotion stat!

I see a difference in my rubber tire belly. Seems to finally be going down and there are more stretch marks visible. My belly has always been my biggest issue even during the time when I first lost weight.

That's all I have for now. Ciao!

I was wrong! I failed! Dinner was lousy and horribly bad for me!

I decided to listen to my trainer and start her clean eating plan on Saturday. No ifs, ands or buts, I HAVE TO DO THIS!
