Yesterday's menu (11/23/11)

B- 2 eggs, 1 serving egg whites, 3 slices Canadian bacon, 2 coffees

L- turkey burger, 1 laughing cow cheese

S- 100 calorie popcorn

D- Hungry girlfredo (shirataki noodles), 1 small chicken thigh, 1/4 of a chicken breast grilled

S- Gluten-free pumpkin whoopie pie (OOOPSSSS!!! I had ordered them for our Thanksgiving celebration, and picked them up early, I couldn't resist!!!)

Yesterday's calories: 1,119 (had intented to keep them LOW the day before Thanksgiving, Darn Whoopie pie!!! It was GOOD though!)

Yesterday's exercise: 400 calories on treadmill (felt guilty after the whoopie pie!)

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

I am thankful to my wonderful family and friends, I am also thankful for our troops fighting everyday to keep us safe who cannot be with their families on this special day, thinking of them all :-(

Today's menu: Oh boy, don't even want to crunch calorie numbers today!!

B- 2 eggs, 1 egg white, Canadian bacon

L/D- Thanksgiving feast!!! I will however forgo the whoopie pie today since I already had one yesterday...lol.

Today's calories: ??? Estimating at 2,000 ???

Today's exercise: Yoga Meltdown dvd this a.m. 30 minutes

I am still here!! Kind of fell of the rails a bit during this long Thanksgiving weekend, but I have been still tracking calories, just not doing so hot keeping them at a reasonable amount. Here are my numbers for the past 5 days:

Tuesday 11/22: 1,611
Wednesday 11/23: 1,119
Thursday 11/24 (Thanksgiving): 1,904
Friday 11/25: 1,630
Saturday 11/26: 1,630

I did not weigh in this week on Saturday, I was too scared, I will wait until next week's weigh-in.

No exercise today, been bad about this, haven't exercised since last Wednesday.

Alright, alright, I need to get back on track!! Yesterday was a calorie disaster! I went out to lunch with my dad at some trendy hipster downtown Portland eatery, and PIGGED out...literally. I ended up skipping dinner yesterday and my calories were still 1,846 yesterday!

I am a little concerned because I am supposed to be losing weight, we are going on vacation in 35 days, and not only that, but if I go back to the first page of this journal, it was Jan. 1st, 2011 and I was 163 lbs. I was VERY unhappy at this weight.

SO...I will weigh in tomorrow, Saturday and post my official one month weigh-in since I restarted November 1, 2011.

Weighed in this morning, 154 lb.s that is 9 lbs. since November 1st. and I am NOT complaining, I am aiming for a 10 lb. loss between now and January 1st. I think I can, I think I can...

L- turkey burger (no bun), 1 laughing cow light cheese, 1 tomato cooked in olive oil Pam spray

Ugh, it's tough to be good this time of year with all of these social (FOOD) events!!!!

Yesterday's eating was bad, I went out to lunch to Ruby Tuesday's, had the chicken quesadilla and garden bar lunch, a major calorie bomb. My yoga instructor is away for a week so I haven't been exercising (poor excuse I know, I could use treadmill or DVD's, just laziness). So,then DH calls and says we are going out to dinner with his parents, Oh boy! Ate lots of sushi rolls, an appetizer, and 3 glasses of wine!!! Today is a new day.

Today's menu:

B-3 servings egg whites, 3 slices Canadian bacon, 1 coffee

L- a few bites tuna salad, diet coke, (Now I have to navigate my way through a Pampered Chef party this afternoon, who knows what goodies they will have. )

D- Shirataki noodles, 2 laughing cow light cheeses, 10 shrimp

and LOTS of water after yesterdays free for all eating!! It's not looking good to get into a bikini in 28 days for DH and I's trip to Mexico, Boohoo! Poor planning on my part booking a tropical vacation right after the holidays, DUH!!!

I had a pretty good down day yesterday, 740 calories. I cannot imagine doing 500 calorie down days like the real JUDDD rockstars, I am too scared I would starve to death!!!

Shooting for 1600 calories today.

L- Longhorn steakhouse chicken tenders lunch meal

D-Greek salad with shrimp

Have to insert a medium day in here today, so I can make Friday and Up day instead of a down day (lunch plans out with my gram), Saturday a down day, Sunday an up day, then back to my alternating days next week until Christmas when I will have to adjust days again, grr...Darn holidays!!!
The good news is, I am down to 152.4 this morning, that is a 10.6 lb. loss since I started on November 1st. Great news since I have "maintained" at 163 for about a year and a half on very low carb.

Today's menu:

B- Up day breakfast (600 calories, it was good!!)

L- diet coke, 100 calorie popcorn

D- not sure yet, but it will be about 500 calories, maybe hot wings

Ok, just so I have this on record, I wanted to document that I have spent the last WEEK having a severe allergic reaction to gluten, and dumbass me keeps eating it! DUH!
I had some brie fondue last Sunday night with baguette, Monday morning woke up with swollen, red, bloodshot itchy eyes. I suffered with this until Thursday when it had spread to both eyes and I went to the doctor who gave me prescription allergy eye drops. On Saturday morning I called the on-call doctor and was prescribed an antibiotic eye drop, it began seeping from my tear duct and was not getting any better (in 6 days, even after taking Claritin, Allegra, Benadryl, the whole 9 yards).
So, stupid me, I go to another holiday party last night, a week later, and eat pigs in blanket, quiches, meatballs in sauce, all gluten filled goodies. So, I get home last night, I am feeling nauseous, stuffy headed, feel like my throat is closing, weak, and exhausted, so I go to bed at 7 pm. You would think I would learn my lesson that gluten is NOT my friend and should be avoided. I need to take the gluten intolerance test,just so I can have solid evidence to tell myself, I will do it after the holidays and after DH and I's vacation when I have some extra money.

Ok, this is really tough for me right now, I haven't been to my Yoga class in almost 3 weeks, hopped on my treadmill only a handful of times and my eating has been *not great*.
I have realized this is a really tough time of year to lose weight. I am however, determined to atleast maintain my 10 pound weight loss since November 1st. I have also been so busy that I haven't had any free time to keep up with my journal, but I will do better, I need the accountability right now especially.

The past few days calories:
12/19: 1718 (see above, this was SUPPOSED to be a Down day
12/20: 1421
12/21: 942

Today's menu: 12/22/11

B- Up day breakfast

L- 2 turkey burgers, 1 oz. Kerrygold cheddar

D- Taco meat over salad

Today's calories: 1,565

Exercise: Housework, 4 hours

Tomorrow will be a down day in preparation for the busy Christmas weekend, when I will have to mess with my rotation a bit,
Plan is:
Friday 23rd: Down day
Saturday 24th: Up day
Sunday 25th: Medium-Up day
Sunday 26th: down day

Today is weigh-in day: 152.8
So, I gained .8 lb. in a week, I am okay with that. This week has been VERY hard to keep to my JUDDD rotation and I haven't exercised like I had been. So. Today is Christmas Eve day and I have eating functions this morning, tonight and tomorrow all day. So, back to the grind Monday morning with my normal JUDDD rotation. I think I can...I think I can...

Today's menu:

B- Egg bake (hashbrowns, bacon, eggs, cheese, sausage), 2 coffees

L- Nothing! or a 100 calorie Greek yogurt

D- Christmas Eve family buffet, who knows what I will eat? A lot I am sure!

No idea of calories today, 2000???

Thank God the holidays are over! Almost anyway, still need to get through this weekend, my DD's 4th birthday party and then New Years Eve dinner. This is very tough indeed!


DD here, I ate WAY too much over Christmas Eve and Christmas day!

D- salad with small amount of protein, Annie's Fat free raspberry vinaigrette

Just a quick note, I am really busy today, we are leaving for Mexico tomorrow morning early, so today I am running last minute errands (mani-pedi, bank, etc.) and packing.

I just was so excited this morning to weigh-in at 149!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost 14 lbs. since November 1st starting JUDDD, it really works!!! I am just so excited and pray that I don't gain it all back on vacation (all- inclusive, adults only). However, if I do, I will just hop back on the JUDDD wagon, I know it works well for me!!
