Casey I am only 6 pounds smaller but maybe the gym helped, remember I left you and gained 13 pounds, LOL. maybe today I will measure after seeing Reva's measurements, it is probably a good idea to do it now before I get going too far on the gym, so I have a good measurement of what the exercise is really doing!

oh no, not potty training! LOL My son said I will go potty when I am 3, sure enough that morning of his birthday he went! he is a nut, I wish the bed wetting would improve, in Sept I put him on medication the doc recommended but no success, unfornately I wet the bed til I was almost 13 and the doc said he will most likely be the same, I feel so bad for him, he is getting so big the underpants get soaked through and the adult depends are too big, ughggh All I do is laundry! LOL

Amber you look so beautiful and you and Tony are adorable together. You both seem so happy in the pictures. I am with Casey. You look even smaller now than you did in your other pictures from December. I guarantee you have lost inches from the gym. You really should measure today. Then measure again in two weeks.

OK guys I did what Reva said, I went to the gym and tortured myself for drinking that wine last night, came home showered and remeasured.
I measured on 10/13/10 right after I got the body tape and about 3 1/2 weeks into it I was at 285 so now down 31 pounds from then:
Here are the comparisions I was shocked!!!!! Reva you are the guru you were so right, I am going to do this at least once a month! I was so down thinking geez I only lost 31 pounds in 3 months but then I remembered my Christmas cheat that really set me back but these numbers are encouraging. I cant wait to measure after another month at the gym. And hey I will take 10 pounds a month that is 70 off til the wedding.

------------------------------------10/13 ----------1/16
Arm L ------------------------------15.5------------14.5
Arm R------------------------------16.25-----------15.0
Boobies----------------------------51---------------47.0
Chest-------------------------------44.5------------41.5
Waist-------------------------------46.5-------------43
Stomach---------------------------56.5-------------50.5
Hips---------------------------------46.0------------42
L Thigh-----------------------------26---------------23
R Thigh-----------------------------27.5------------24.25
L calf--------------------------------19--------------18.25
R calf-------------------------------20---------------18.5
Neck--------------------------------17---------------15.75

29" Total inches

I am so surprised never did I think I lost that many overall, especially my fat stomach, ughghg I hate that, and my flabby arms.

So here is another story about last night. Tony works with a group of kids straight out of college so they are like 22-26, then the other group of guys is like 32-35 and then TOny the over 40, he and 2 others, LOL So we sat with the young kids and there is one that I think is so handsome and cute, I said to Tony maybe Rowan will sit beside me, sure enough he did! Well he and the other 2 young guys live together they met in College and all got jobs here, well they had a pic of him in 10th grade he was over 300 pounds, now he is so buff, rock hard arms and abs, grogeous! So they were all making fun of him and passing the phone around with his old picture. I talked to him privately and said OMG I just wanted to cry seeing that pic, he said when he was in 10th grade a senior boy said, I know you can be better than this, I am going to beat the snot out of you every week if you dont lose at least 5 pounds, so after a few beatings he said I better start losing weight the kid had him running, he was a HS track star and wrestler, he said to this day I thank that kid for pushing me, he said he works out hard everyday no matter what it is just in him, he likes to eat and of course drink since he is young, but my word what a transformation, you just never know what demons people have overcome by looking at them, it was very inspiring, he said you do look like you lost weight since I saw you over the summer and I told him about it and that I joined the gym, he said you will be passing skinny soon, he said Tony needs to work out he is getting old even though he is skinny, I said OMG don't tell him that now, I am trying to weigh less than him by the wedding!
So that really freaked me out I wanted to share that with you guys

What a great story about your young friend! Well extreme but great too! I'm so glad he responded to that by improving himself instead of shutting down!

10lbs a month is super fast weight loss hon! I just want you to have safe and healthy paced weight loss! But I'm betting you can potentially hit at least 50lbs and probably more by the wedding which will be incredible!!!!!

Congrats on 31lbs in 3 months! That is freaking awesome!!!!!

Reva- you are the low carb queen! You are such a great influence! Now if I could just learn to eat like you, but I think I would die, LOL

I am in a packing frenzy, so I got one pair of jeans, and nothing else I love to take to Vegas, then my favorite black boots that have a heel but I think I can walk in are ripped, God bless Tony he said they will be fixed! LOL

So since I gotta pack I tore out half of one closet and bagged up 3 trash bags of just tops, I thought if it is big it is going, so many memories in those clothes though, it is sort of sad but I just don't want them as a fall back, I want them gone, so my friend is coming tomorrow there are 3 girls at her church that love my throw aways, so I am thrilled they will have fun. Even at my heaviest I have always been a diva with clothes and shoes, and now I am like Old navy yoga pant girl it is all I wear, I hate not having stuff I can just pull out and I know will look nice, it sort of sucks in some ways, and I just dont want to buy a lot of stuff since I want to lose so much more, so thank goodness for yoga pants, LOL

Amber everyone is differently when it comes to eating. If I eat more than I am then I tend to not lose. When I make my meals very low carb I lose nicely. I am always satisfied and never hungry. I think the way you eat is just fine. You are losing a great deal of weight and a good rate. If it aint broke don't fix it!!

WTG on packing up the big clothes. I bet those girls will have an awesome time with them. I use to hate shoes because my feet were always so fat and swollen so I have maybe 2 pair of shoes to my name. I can't wait to go buy some new ones.

Now I love shoes!!! LOL They were the one thing that always fit no matter how much weight I gained except I quit wearing heels when I got so fat I thought I would snap them, so I am looking forward to some sexy heels although I gotta practice walking in them again, LOL

LOL I have always been clumsy so I doubt I will ever be able to wear a nice heel. In the summertime I am a flip flop queen though. I have wanted a nice pair of boots for sometime but always afraid they wouldn't fit right over my huge calves.

Martini- vodka= zero carbs I like it straight on ice with olives, a dirty martini! No vermouth I hate that! Except now with the LC it makes me so drunk I never drink them, even Michelob ultra gives me a buzz it is funny, I guess that is why everyone eats so much when they drink alchohol

OMG Amber I used to be able to have 3 or 4 martinis without having an issue over the course of a long evening. Love dirty martinis - dry, up!!! MMMMMMmmmm! But the one martini I had last year almost put me under the table and I seriously fell asleep in my chair after dinner! Ha! What a riot! I'm such an old fogey now with the hard stuff! Wine gives me a buzz on one glass and will put me to sleep too but I can handle more. I don't drink beer very much any more - maybe a couple of times a year in the summer mostly. It makes me really stopped up and full feeling. Yuk. But nevertheless I want to be at the party with you and Martini! We'll shop till we drop!

Martini you are a shopping fool girl! Great for you for finding yummy stuff on sale!!!!!!! Woooohoooo! The purple top sounds fun! I ruffles!

Amber we are gonna miss you while you are in Vegas! How long will you and Tony be gone?

Also, boots have never fit my calves! I've always wanted some. I just measured my calves and I have a 17" calf now. What are boot calf sizes usually? I just don't look any longer cuz it would depress me so. I especially remember in the 70s when I was a little girl and soooo wanted a pair of patent leather white boots. They never fit!

Poot we are suppose to leave tomorrow and be back Sun 1/23 now they are calling for a big ice storm here tonight into tomorrow, that darn plane better take the heck off, ugghghgh the ice is suppose to come when we fly home so we can stay out there longer, LOL

Poot- extra wide boots usually run 18-20 inch calves, normal boots anywhere from 15-17/12 or so I am always sure to read the measurements, When I get skinny I am so getting a wonder woman costume for Halloween with white patent boots, I loved wonder woman and I want an outfit so bad, LOL

Lisa- thank you!!!! Yeah I got that dress in early Nov and was so excited it was an 18/20 from Lane Bryant, then I forgot about it, I also had gotten 2 pairs of pants there 18/20 for the trip to IN, and they are big, it is funny at my weight i would think an 18 should still be fitting, I guess its the height, I am so excited about the smaller clothes my Lane Bryant days might be over, the company will probably go bankrupt without me shopping, LOL

Pray for no ice tomorrow!!! I was going to work a 1/2 day to save as much vacation as I could for the wedding, but now I took off, it is about 1 1/2 hours to the airport and an hour to pick up Tony at his job, ice is no joke and the roads will be terrible so I took off, I want us to now get a room tonight at the airport and leave from there in the morning.

Amber thanks for the boot info! That's good to know. I might actually go check some out at DSW now! I will say a prayer for you about the ice! I like your idea of staying overnight at the airport!!! So much safer. Where does Tony work?

That is sooooo super awesome about the clothes and Lane Bryant! And good for you for helping your friends with the clothes you can no longer wear! As soon as I get the attic sorted and Denny's room fixed, I'm going to go through all my clothes in my closet and get rid of the too big stuff. I can't wait to do that!!!!

Amber your measurements are amazing! I need to do this!!

Hi Glenda!!!!! Thank you so much mama! I miss youu toooo!

Amber, totally get a room tonight! When I was home for Christmas, it was snowing out, and I drove my sis home from MD to philly and it took me over 5 hours! It usually takes less than two. Don't take that chance! I will be praying your flight takes off! I have the WORST luck with flights. Seems like they are always delayed LOL! I remember when DH was on a business trip in the states. He got stuck for almost a month! Remember that volcano that erupted! He was only suppose to be gone for 2 weeks. He had to fly to Spain and almost had to hoof it home hahah. He got home eventually tho..

I know there is a website out here that has "mystery airport hotels", and you can get last minute rooms real cheap. They are guaranteed to be within a mile or 2 of the airport and atleast 3 or 4 stars. We have used them quite often for Heathrow hotels. I am not sure if it is in the states too. Only catch is you don't know which hotel it is until you book it. I have always had a good experience tho! You and Tony can have a romantic night in Olde City or something! I love Philly! It is where my husband and I fell in love
