The Incredible Shrinking Fluffy Lumpkins



Thanks for dropping in. I'm not really sure what to say to get this started, but I figured it was time to start my own journal if I wanted to keep truly accountable in my weight loss.

I can post my whole story later, but the basic outline is that my highest weight ever was 297 lbs. and as of today, I weigh 248.6. I'm slowly working my way (or is it weigh?) downward. My ultimate goal is to get down to 170 lbs.

LOL, you should write a children's book. Love the title of your blog. It made me come inside to see what kinda place you had! Congrats on your weightloss. We are almost the same weight right now!

Thanks for stopping by, pooticus!! I'm a mom to a pre-schooler, so we make up all sorts of stories around here! haha

I thought I would use this post to outline some of my goals and the reasons behind them.

My current goal weight it 170 lbs. I chose that number because back in 2004, I lost quite a bit of weight (started at 223) and felt amazing at 180-ish, but wanted to lose a little more. I got off track, and years later found myself all the way up to 297!!

So, here is my current goal list:

297-
start weight
288- where I lost to with no effort and realized I really needed to get serious!
254- 1/3 of the way there!!
249- the 250's are notorious for HOLDING on for dear life on me, so 249 is always a mini celebration (always she says? Yes, I've been there 2-3 times over the last few months, you'd think I'd learn my lesson already!!)
239- sounds so "skinny" LOL
223- where I lost from the first time and SWORE I would never see again!
211- 2/3 of the way there!!
199- HELLO ONEDERLAND!
197- 100 lbs. lost <3
185- where I got down to previously
179- lowest adult weight/decade, ever!!
170- GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!

(maybe???? 150-165, we'll see when I get there!!)

I can't believe I forgot to add in the half way point mark when I wrote my list out last night. I think that's a pretty big milestone.

I thought about it when I was in hour 3 of trying to fall asleep last night, to be honest I'm surprised I'm losing weight at all with as little sleep as I get. I've always heard that weight loss without sleep is near impossible. It's not that I'm not tired, it's just that I am under a tremendous amount of stress right now. I won't get into it, but it's just a hard time.

The scale was the same this morning as yesterday morning. 246.8- which is nothing to complain about, but I would have loved to see at least a couple ounce difference. I've been doing really well with my eating and water intake. So anyhow- that's about it for now, I guess. I haven't had anything to eat yet today, but I'm feeling hungry. I was thinking about a hamburger patty with mayo and cheese yum

Your goals sound lovely and doable! I do think sleep affects weight loss. Sorry to hear you are under such stress. That's never a good thing. Remember, stressing will never change anything but praying to God can! Give it to him. I promise!

You are doing great with your weightloss. The hamburgers sounds great! Maybe that's what I will make tomorrow night. Hmmmm. Wheels turning here. Today is a DD for me, and I'm still in the middle of decorating the house so it will be leftovers for us here at the Denny Crane house. Eye of round roast and salad for me - maybe some Shiritaki noodles with fresh tomato and basil and parmesan and leftover smashed cauliflower for Denny.

and glad to know you! Come visit some time. I have a journal here too.
