If I had a gym in my house, there would be clothes hanging all over the equipment . Kind of like the elliptical machine in my room.

That sounds great, Amber! I hear you, Tanya! If the equipment were in with my regular stuff, forget about it. But if I had a GYM.......now we're talking!!!

Maybe I need to hit the lottery.

Having some coffee and zipping out to the gym. Have a great Friday!

An at home gym, That would be awesome. Never having to drag yourself outside when it is cold. No more excuses that other people are using the machines you need (the gym at my place is overcrowded) Perhaps a lottery ticket is a good idea. ;-)

How was your weekend Christine?

Good morning! Weekend went by QUICKLY, thanks for asking, Velvet! Hope everyone is well.

I think DH might actually make a serious attempt at eliminating sugar from his diet. We shall see. It'll be much easier on me if he actually does it!

Off to the gym in a few. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

New week Christine, had to face my trainer after 5 weeks, but it felt good to be back with him! I am committing to gettting up at 4:45 this week and getting to the gym so I Can do some extra cardio and try to move this freaking weight once and for all!

Good for you, Amber! I've added a bit of cardio, too, which I normally regret by 3pm when I'm STARVING. I'm with ya: Let's do it.

Working on upping my fat intake again. It's amazing how easily it falls to the wayside! Managed to get up to 72% yesterday, but I also had a fairly low calorie day (about 750), so that's not exactly a good representative day. Doing bulletproof coffee this morning, probably a green shake at some point today, and maybe tuna salad at lunch. Dinner will probably be taco guts with DS since DH has a late appointment.

Good exercise yesterday: Lifting, week three day one, and 21 minutes of interval work on the dreadmill. I am only using that thing because it's a new one!! The day someone is on it when I get there is the day I won't be doing any cardio.

Seriously.

I did it Christine 4:45 my butt was at the gym at 5:05 til 6:10, OMG it was hard and 30 minutes in the ellipitcal I thought I was going to die! Man do you lose fitness when you are not working at it, so did those dreaded 30 minutes, legs and even abs, yes sir I sprawled it out and did not care who saw me! My glory was these 2 guys kept hogging the leg press I was like dudes can I cut in, so I had to crank that leg press up to 325 while those whimps were at 235, LOL My victory for the morning!

Christine I signed up for the Dirty Girl Mud Run for breast cancer in Scranton, May 4th you could totally do it with us, I now have to get my fat arse running again, I sort of hate running so this will be a chore! But I was so proud of myself for doing it, so I better start! Ughghg why I do this to myself!

THIS^^^^

I have been so so bad about doing something. Anything! No excuses so I'm not even gonna try to make any.

Would I be complete nutso if I admit that exercise absolutely scares the **** outta me Well, it's the *getting started* part that's scary..no idea why either! Yeah I know, I'm a total mental case.

Missed the gym today due to the snow and ice; DS is on a two-hour delay. That's ok. Today is my lazy "off" day, where I don't lift but instead tool around on the bike for 20 minutes or so. GREAT day of nutrition yesterday: Fat eclipsed 80%, finally:

B: BP coffee
L: Coffee, hwc
D: Taco meat, sour cream, spinach, 2 T chipotle dressing

I wasn't even hungry for my shake, so I have that left over for today.

As for the gym, Dani and Blonde, all I can say is that it's the one place where I feel I can focus on one thing at a time. The rest of my life is filled with too many thoughts about too many details. But in the gym, I have to focus, or else I'm probably going to die.

As for the mud run, Amber......I'll cheer you on from the side lines. I hate running, too, and nothing I do will motivate me to train. But I can't wait to hear all about how it goes for you!!

Dani~ don't be scared. You love to walk and walking is exercise! Do what you love! I'm not scared, I'm just lazy.

Christine I know what you mean about focus. I love to paint (watercolor & ink) but I have no focus at home. I actually HAVE to be in a class to get anything done otherwise too many other things take precedence.

Enjoy your lazy day!!

Thanks, Blonde! It was nice to sleep in a bit and not race around. Granted, I did have to chip my car out from under a small glacier, but...........oh well!

It's so damp and rainy and cold here that I just wanted to come home and cuddle up with some hot chocolate. So I made a concoction that isn't bad (remember my tolerance for the weird if you decide to try it!!!!):

2T Kerrygold butter
1-2T coconut oil
1 T dark cocoa
1t bourbon vanilla
2T HWC
1/4 t sf instant vanilla pudding

I started with the oils and melted them; added the vanilla, cocoa and pudding. It wasn't coming together as I wanted, so I figured, what the heck: Add some HWC. I whisked it all up and it's amazing. Like a hot, thick, melty pudding. Exactly what I needed today!

Stats are likely this:

574 calories (wow! ) 6g carb 61g fat 1g protein

It made roughly four ounces, but honestly, that's enough. I might not eat for the rest of the night!

Haha, I know. Bourbon vanilla is delicious, but really......just hand over the bourbon!

As I suspected, I didn't eat anything else. It was enough to get me through the roughly five hours until bedtime. I bet if I whipped the cream first, I could probably chill it into an amazing mousse........something to keep in mind for another time, perhaps!

So yesterday's food ended up as this:

B: BP coffee
L: Caesar salad, side salad (I was at the cafeteria, and they had the regular salad bar, plus a bowl of Caesar)
S: Coffee, hwc
D: Hot chocolate

No school delays here today, so back to the gym for some lifting and maybe 20 minutes of cardio. Have a great Thursday!

Good to know, Amber, thanks! Pat, I hope you like the chicken! Hope you're having a great day, Blonde!

Surprised at how hungry I'm not; I guess upping the fat is really important for me. Food today:

B: BP coffee
L: Green meanie, tuna salad with pickles and smoked paprika/ancho pepper salt
D: I might make LC pizza. DH won a hard-fought battle today at work against pizza, so maybe I'll make him a LC version! Probably one egg crust and one cauliflower, just so that we can have some options.

Also got in Week three, day three of strength, and 21 minutes of interval on the treadmill. I should start bumping up the time I spend on the treadmill, but I'm cutting it close on time as it is, so I might not be able to do that. We'll see. Maybe I'll just bump up the intervals instead.

Have a great evening!

Gosh you are doing SO great food and gym wise!

How is DH's battle with sugar? Is he doing okay? LC pizza sounds yummy. I really really really miss pizza. It's a major trigger food for me, though.

I had a great day, thanks. It's a potato day.....
