I did get a full nights rest last night for the first time in about a week. I guess it was just taking some getting used to sleeping in the other room. I don't know really. It felt great to sleep through the night instead of waking up and moving out onto the couch like I've been doing.

Starting my day off with some bacon and eggs and then taking the dog out before work!

Work and the gym done for the day.

You know I'm really starting to wonder if the reason I have not been losing is due to all the medicine I'm taking. I never really take meds, but the past two weeks I've been taking lots of cold/allergy/sinus medication. Do they have hidden carbs in them?

I think some does hinder weight loss. Read the ingredients to see if what you are taking has some kind of sugar in them.

You'll start losing again .

Well I'm not really all that worried since I need the meds to get over this sinus infection I've got going on, but it would make sense if that's why I'm so stalled for going on a few weeks now.

I have neglected the journal for too many days!

Tommorow is my One Year Atkinsversary. I can't believe that only a year ago I was sitting at 310lbs. It seems like both a lifetime ago and yesterday at the same time.

YES! My fasting bs was 363 this morning because of the cold meds I am taking.

New clothes would work if I had the extra cash, lol. It's just another day I suppose, but one that I am so very proud of. I have never followed through with anything like this before. I have always fizzled out at around six months or so. I am just so proud of myself for sticking with this because in the back of my mind I'm not quiet sure I ever saw myself actually doing that.

Thanks Kitty and yes you're right, most people don't last this long. I want this to be forever, not just a quick fix. I've done that before in the past and have always returned to an unhealthy lifestyle. This time it's for good. I've said that before, but I've never made it this far and feel like I can continue without a struggle.

Thanks ladies.

I think I might have overdid it this afternoon at the gym, or more like I havn't ate enough today. I was a little light headed when leaving the gym. I feel better now that I'm sitting down and drinking some water. Who knows if that is overdoing it or I'm just tired or what. I have been having some sinus trouble today, perhaps that's what it is.

I know it will help you feel better! It always does the trick for me, in fact it always puts me in a good mood.

Gym went better today, I wasn't as tired. I mean tired in a good way yes, but not sick tired. I did eat more for lunch today so maybe that helped.

Up and at em this morning, breakfast is done, fixing to hit the bathroom to get ready and then take the dog out. Feeling good! I am really hoping for some movement on those scales this weekend. I have really worked hard this week and kept track of every little carb or calorie that I take in and kicked my butt at the gym. Hoping hoping hoping.
