Week 3 down for my new found love of exercise!

July walking was 29.8 miles!!!

My goal for August is to double that which should not be hard. I got this!! 60 miles in August

I ended at around 2200 ish calories yesterday thanks to Mexican food! I felt great working out this morning on my morning walk. No wine yesterday. I may have some tonight or Saturday. Not sure.

Moving feels great. I am looking forward to my weekend with my darling children. It has been so long since I've felt really good.

Goal for the weekend...get out swim and be active!

Update....sure!! I had a difficult time walking yesterday for some reason. My entire body hurt. So, I evaluated my food binge on Sat and Sunday. Even though I didn't eat a whole lot of calories...there wasn't a lot of nutrition. I basically let my inner fat kid take over. So, I ate candy, brownies, and ice cream...too full for salad or fruit. Then I realize yesterday that I have to weigh in for the contest. That was not worth looking forward to. Lol!

So, today is a new day. Calories and nutrition were in order yesterday and today's walk was much more enjoyable. My body really tells me when something is off!

Today's plan is to take care of myself and enjoy wake up to a nice weigh in tomorrow. I am hoping to see the 260's...even 269.8 would be awesome!

I took on a new project at work so I've been a little busier than usual. I will definitely post more later.

Jen that is wonderful!! AND you are listening to your body!!!..

I so agree, that our bodies know.. even if our mouths love some of the good stuff.. our bodies don't always agree! Glad you found that out and are on the road to good health!!! Weigh in? UGH... oh yes you are in the contest!

Thanks Shari and Deb!! I am so pleased with myself for sticking with the exercise. That is really the best and most rewarding part of my journey to health. My body aches and I get very stiff still after nearly a month of walking to work. I must remind myself that I am carrying a lot of extra weight. Come to think of it; I don't remember ever weighing this much in my life...kinda scary, but what goes up must come down

New motto! Eat the cake but first some fruit! Lol...we must balance

Last night I had a nice small center loin cut pork chop, fresh steamed broccoli, and coconut ice cream that was divine! That is what I call a balanced nutritious meal!

From everyone currently on a weight loss journey that i know that i've spoken to lately, we all had less than stellar weekends this past weekend. I don't know what the deal is. the important thing to remember is we didn't let that take over and detour us and we're keeping going!!

Good morning beautiful ladies!!! The walk was grand. I didn't show a loss on the scale...may have been a teeny tiny gain, but I'm not at all worried about because I feel amazing. I'm sure that it'll go down in time. Right now just focusing on getting in more exercise. Yesterday's calories were in order and felt great going to bed. I was able to get my boys to the pool yesterday evening. It felt amazing

Hey Deb! You are partly to blame for my great attitude

I learned through you that all of our bodies are different. The key is finding what works for my body!

Exercise is the key to my success. I'm ready to add more. I couldn't sit still yesterday when I got home from work. Usually I sit on the couch or lay in my bed until dinner time

I may have had a liquid dinner last night. I wanted more so I walked to the store with the children. Too funny....mama needed her wine. They took advantage of my condition and bought sodas and candy on my dollar! Good for them
