Omg, just got back from my job interview. I will hear back mid-July. No worries on waiting to hear back because today I pick up the keys for my new place. I'm uber-excited and not at the same time because the move will be hard, but my DD has 17 of her teenage friends coming to help. Woohoo!!!

Broke my fast around 12:30 today with a nice spinach salad with balsamic vinegar dressing, parm cheese, and an atkins frozen meal (meatloaf) I believe. I've plenty of calories left for dinner which is not planned as of yet, but have an atkins frozen dinner if needed. i'm starting to crave sugar badly. Like every time I go out, my eyes go right for the sugary, carby treats. When I allowed myself these things, it was no big deal. I know this will pass, but I am going to need to find a good recipe for a treat.

Last night was a bust. I picked up the keys to my new place to view it. I leased a place without viewing it first...big mistake, but that is the way it is. I saw pictures of the place at the main office so, I was not completely taken off guard. To make a long story short; I was terribly unhappy with the house so I drove to the store and picked up a bottle of wine and DH grabbed some Irish cheddar...my favorite. After finishing off that bottle in an hour; I wanted more...did I need more; absolutely not! So, DH picked up another bottle and I had two glasses and went to bed. I'm a binge eater, binge drinker, etc...Alas, today is a new day and I am feeling better about the house

Not as bad as I thought. Almost 2000 calories and 120 carbs. I'll fix this with lots of water and some walking today.

Thanks Deb. I needed to record my little blip so I can learn from my behavior. Then when I know what sets me off to binge, I can come up with other plans
I remember as young as five sneaking food into my room at night. I can also remember eating a whole pizza when I was 8 years old. I have always had a naughty relationship with food.

Just tried coffee with only two creamers and no sugar. I like it...perhaps my taste buds are changing.

I'm going to try without creamer tomorrow...the caffeine really helps me get through the morning without eating. I fast all morning and start eating around noon. Then I try to not eat after 6pm. However, some nights we don't eat until 6pm. I just make sure that I don't go back for seconds and that I have plenty of water on hand. The last time I ate like this I went crazy because I was always starving when my eating window opened so I didn't lose. I figured out why...all I was eating were mostly carbs. Now, I make sure that most of my meal is from fat...around 70-75% and protein 17% rest is carbs...that has really helped keep the hungries away...plus some HHCG.

Pardon my potty mouth....

But screw that!!! Fat is delicious and stays with you. Protein and fat are so yummy. I lost beautifully with mostly fat on HHCG last round. Problem was the carbs...not the fat or the protein...carbs.

Thanks for cheering me on Deb. How is OWL? You'll slim down in no time by cutting calories.

Big hugs!!

Well Jen, I also love fat, and if I want some, I will HAVE IT!... OWL is a good guide, but I never was one to follow the rules, so I have what my body NEEDS.. and it is definately more protein. I can eat those 2 servings that they all insist is enough in one bite!!!

Anyway, so far so good! Keep up your great work also dear!

You are cracking me up. I remember very well when you started that you would eat the heck out of some protein. I just gorged on a cobb salad with bleu cheese crumbles and bleu cheese dressing. Passed on fresh hot cookies due to how satisfied I am. Did I mention the lean beef patty on top and the grilled chicken with bacon pieces. I'm at around 800 calories and feeling great. I feel like I ate like a Queen.

Hi Lexiann!! Welcome to my journal! I would love it if you joined me on my roller coaster ride. To make a long story short; I'm just kind of learning as I go along. My life has to change so I have to do something that I can do for life...not for 21 days or so. Let's cheer each other on. I will definitely support you in any way I can

Hi, Jen!

Thanks for stopping by my journal! Looking forward to getting to know you. LCF is the best place in the world to make wonderful new friends, I've found!

Dang--sorry the house thing was so disappointing, and sorry about the wine (cheese and red wine are my weaknesses, too. Well, SOME of my weaknesses. I have a lot. )

I am experimenting with the fat fast, and really enjoying it. Hope it yields the kinds of losses I'm hoping for, because it certainly does kill hunger!

Will stop back by soon. Stay after it, and when you have a misstep, shrug it off and keep swimming.

Ugh, sorry about the house! But keep going, don't let that permanently derail you (I know you won't).

Thanks Jess and Vilya. I'm much better regarding the house...at least we aren't buying it. I'll get what I really want when we are ready to buy. My dh is from Ireland so hopefully in a few years we'll move to Ireland. I would love that soooo much.

Strangely, I have cheese and wine at home right now and know that I'll stay away from it. I am still comfortably full from my high protein/high fat lunch...I'm going to see if I can keep under 1000 cals today to make up for my overage yesterday.

I am so pleased with myself. I was able to keep cals under 1000...939 cals to be exact. My breakdown yesterday was 49% fat, 40% protein, and 11% carbs. I was much more satisfied yesterday than I have been in a while. Mind hunger did start to take me on at night, but I quickly snapped out of it and had a yoplait greek yogurt before my eating window closed. The IF has really helped me stop snacking throughout the day. I am planning to eat on plan today because it is super easy for me and yes, taking my hhcg too. I had a NSV last night. DH said I looked like I was losing weight. He's the best for sharing with me and know that it's true because he will NOT lie to me. He's brutally honest which hurts my feelings sometimes

Tomorrow is moving day! I'll try to check in and let my DF know how everything goes. I'm looking forward to weighing. I hope I lost a few lbs this week

I've got a question for you. I get up at 5am every morning for work. By the time I get home from work, I am exhausted..and have a 2 1/2 year old wild boy. I know if I exercised, I would lose even faster. How do I get over my energy crash in the evening??

Happy Friday!! I hope you get the job Bummer about the house but very exciting about the possibility of moving to Ireland, nice! Happy to hear that your are pleased with yourself, you should be because you're doing so well. I LOL'd about HHCG and fat. Fortunately, it's now common to go rogue...whatever works to get the weight off.

Hiya Byarbrough! I cannot say that I know what to do when I am tired at night...I tend to take my little one swimming because I feel refreshed in the water and don't have to chase him too much. My three year old is very wild and love every minute. Also, I live in an apt so I run after him when we go outside...it's great exercise. Your wild one will definitely get you moving...and once you start moving, the energy comes. The worst thing to do is sit on the couch...that makes me even more tired. I hope that helps! Tell me more about yourself. Do you have a journal...it really helps

Hi Shari! Thanks for the warm wishes and nice words. I am really getting excited about the move now...not the work, but the new change and opportunity. I'm glad I found a way to lose...now just to be happy in my own skin. That is something i struggle with. Even in my size 14's I felt fat. I want to be happy in a 14, because I felt really great. I could exercise...but I let my foot off the gas and went back to bad habits. No exercise and loads of food.

Don't worry, you'll get there again. Just keep doing what you are doing. One day at a time. Its not a race The months are flying by us, if we keep it up, we'll be looking back saying "man im so glad i started this when i did" vs "why couldn't i have done this 6 months ago???" lol. I know im feeling that way about myself, so glad i started in march. if only it had been january, LMAO!
