Yesterday was a bit of a blur...I was sooooo hungry after the salad and thirsty where what would not quench my thirst. Another thing was that I felt disconnected and foggy. I feel great this morning! I hope it is just the side effects of the carbs I had yesterday. Yes, instead of the atkins meal; my DH made my favorite dinner...it's atkins friendly except the rice. It is stewed beef in campbell's golden mushroom soup and french onion soup. It is soooo good. I packed a nice salad and Atkins meal for my lunch today to help me from going to the "dark side" when I arrive home. My goal is to eat clean Atkins style today Perhaps I make daily or hourly goals for this first week. Also, I need to learn how to cook so I can be better prepared.

Changed up the lunch a bit because a co-worker invited me out to lunch. I passed with flying colors. Thank goodness I remembered how to eat on Atkins when going out. I had a salad with lamb gyro meat and caesar dressing, oh and don't forget the bacon! So far at 10 carbs. I didn't add the usual international flavored creamer. Instead I put in half/half with some sweet n low. It wasn't bad! I liked it! Oh, and I used 2 creamers rather than my glutenous 4

So happy that I stayed on plan. I am still a bit hungry, but waiting for my meal to finish before I eat something else. I want to make sure I am really hungry and not just head hungry...

I noticed that when I watch the carbs, my fat content goes way up! It looks like I'm eating all fat. I hope I lose on an all fat diet. I haven't tried that before, but it looks like what I am doing....Will keep posting and we'll see when I weigh in on Monday after the big move.

Here's the breakdown 78% fat
16% protein and 6% carbs...I'll see if that trend continues...I think it's rather interesting.

Yes, it feels great! I put on a pair of size 24 slacks this morning that I bought a while ago. They fit but were a little snug. Now, I put them on and they fit well

I feel lighter this morning and met my daily goal of calories, carbs, and water! This is so easy for me and can do this long term!
Yesterday I had around 1000 calories, 20 carbs, and 96 oz of water.
75% was fat, 8% carbs, and 17% protein. Guess I like fat!

Thanks Shar-bear! I'm eager to see how you and Deb do with the OWL plan. I've tried it before, but didn't give it a fair shake.
