Thanks Mel! I haven't exactly been sticking to plan. Since I knew we were eating out I did not eat anything until lunch with my dad and husband. We went to Outback Steakhouse. I had a side salad with blue cheese dressing and 4oz filet cooked medium. I ate a little bread with the table bread and a cake pop for desert...maybe two Then did not eat for the rest of the day. Total calories was under 1200. I started to get hungry around 6pm but just stuffed my self with water and was fine. I missed a dose of my HHCG so that was probably why I was hungry.
Todays menu looks like this:
Jamba juice meal replacement smoothie (290 cals) with energy boost
Greek salad with chicken instead of lamb

Not feeling hungry at all today...so that may be it. It is 11:16 and I am still nursing the jamba juice smoothie.

My exercise plan is to walk. I brought some shoes with me...not the crocs. We'll see how these do for me. My goal is two 20 minute walks. I just can't believe how great I feel in only one week!

Just did my 20 minute walk. I feel great! Unfortunately, i forgot my socks so my shoes rubbed the sides of my feet. They probably took a small layer of skin off
I'm proud of myself for not caving in to not do the walk...I am tired of making excuses. I am certain I will not forget my socks tomorrow

I walked for around 10 minutes this morning so in all I walked 30 minutes. I will go on an evening walk with the children. There are some really great hills and nature preserves around my community. Should be fun tonight!

Back to 284.2...this is why I hate daily weighing. Today I'm feeling the pain from TOM so I'll relax. Yesterday I ended up eating late. I had a chicken sandwich made by DH. The chicken was baked with swiss on ciabatta bread. I had two or three french fries and some chocolate. I also had a hot dog when I walked in the door because I was starving. Not a super awesome day, but I am really just trying to keep the calories around 1200 to receive a 3 lb a week weight loss.

I need to write a poem to my mother...

Dear mother,

I have always sensed a feeling of resentment from your heart. Especially, when you voice is higher pitched when saying hello as i walk in the door. As a young girl i reached out to older women for companionship...i just wanted an older woman to adore as a mother should. I wanted you to teach me how to be a woman, how to love myself, and honor myself. Where were you when I needed you. Why did you just tell me about things and not offer guidance? Would i have trusted your guidance? i do not know. Why didn't you help me work through my marriage problems instead of helping me wipe him away from my life? I am sure that you have your reasons. I strive to be nothing like you. Taking my brother's money is the last straw. There is no good in you...

This makes me so sad sorry Jen..

Some women just don't make good Mom's. It happened to my Mom also. Her Mom was just the worst... she overcame what she went through and is a great Mom. You will be too..

Thanks Deb...i just needed to get it out. Because, I know it will fall on deaf ears if I were to speak to her about how she's made me feel. Everyday that i breathe..i beg forgiveness and the wisdom to be a good mother.

Thanks Debbers! I had a great day yesterday. I didn't get out for a walk at work, but played in the pool with my two little boys. One is not so little anymore. He's 10 and he and I had a great time. My three year old has just discovered water floaties so he has gained some independence. We went on a few trips around the apartment complex as well. All in all a great day.

This morning I weighed and am up a bit. 284.4

I simply refuse to go back to the 500 VLCD. I just cannot do that again....I'll wait out the cycle and see what happens. if anything doesn't change I'll lower my carbs.

So sorry about the mom situation I pray you are able to find the peace needed in your soul to be able to not be as hurt day by day.

Glad yesterday was great for you and sons. Are you still doing (h)hcg but eating more cals? After doing Omaha, I could not go back to Simeons...

I feel much better...sometimes I just need to get things out so healing will start.

I'm still doing the HHCG and keeping calories in the 1200-1500 range. My carbs are to the roof though....I need to bring them down. I'm usually okay with around 40-50 carbs to maintain adequate weight loss. I really like the OMAHA way of HHCG. Simeons can go Sime-on himself! Lol.

Eating is something I hate to think about. I'm much better at doing the act than thinking it through. I really need to eat better and choose better options. That is my goal

Today, was a shining example. I went to a nice deli and instead of picking the summer couscous; i chose the cuban pressed sandwich!

I must admit...the sandwich was the shizzle...but come on, I've had enough shizzle for a while. Also, if I am going to continue to eat like this perhaps planning my funeral will shake me up. I don't know what it is going to take some days

Bahhhhaaaahhahahahahaha!!! I laugh at the notion that I am this sick that I need to plan my own funeral. I think I would prefer to be an alcoholic. Which I think I could pull off nicely. Alas, Jen make better choices so we don't have to keep doing these crazy diets
I talk to myself all the time, Debs...no shame in that game

Hiya Melanie! You are on to something with the way Diet is spelled. Lol! I caved and had some beer last night. Only 1 but still enough to keep me away from the scale.

The weekend was nice and eventful. We packed and worked together beautifully. I am eager to get this over with. My back hurts a little, but the exercise this weekend was great. The donation center certainly received a lot of goodies from my house. As well as the dumpster. We had so much stuff!!! All we have left is our kitchen. I packed up the bathrooms including my scale so I'm not sure where I am as far as weight. I need to pick a plan and stick with it. So hard to decide. I know that lc works for me, but cannot imagine doing it for life...so, hard to decide...I want quick results too like I received with HHCG. That really kept me motivated, but I didn't keep it off...Well today's lunch is a salad..breakfast coffee and cream. Dinner is an atkins meal. Not a lot more going on at the moment. Just trying to stay motivated

Join the rest of us on finding and sticking to a plan. I think that is the main downfall for so many. I love LC, but I love fruit. Can I enjoy both and lose? I don't know. Anyway!! good luck with your move!!!!

It just doesn't seem right to not eat fruit if you lose on LC. It would boggle my mind when reading the p2 threads that someone was afraid to eat more strawberries...in my mind I am thinking; It's a STRAWBERRY! lol!! I just go bonkers if I read the threads too often. However, I do like to read about the losses...not so much the reason they are gaining and trying to figure out if it's the extra slice of tomato and so on...

oh Jen I can totally relate to this.. how in the world can a strawberry or extra tomato make you gain?... so ridiculous! ..

I know with LC strict Atkins, I feel such guilt eating fruit.. so that is why I am not giving into the guilt this time. Fruit is wonderful in the summer, and I am having it. So I cut back on a few other things, I have to do something I can LIVE with!..

Ms. Deb...the same thing happened to me. However, i did not follow the rules for P3 or P4 so I'm pretty sure it was my fault. I am only taking the HHCG for appetite control. It has a way of helping me in that regard. Thanks for coming by to shower my journal with your love. I will definitely be around to check in and pass along goodness and hope to you. Be good to yourself Deb! You are beautiful and can do this!!

I think I have finally come to a decision. The carbs will be the tough part to limit. However, I know that from my calculations that I have been in the 200 gram range so I have determined that I will keep my carbs within 50-100 grams while I find better options. I noticed that my coffee with cream is contributing 20 grams alone...so, I will see if I can find a tastier option. The problem is the flavored creamers that i love...and I use 4 in a large cup of coffee. No sugar, just the international creamer. My initial thought was to limit myself to 20 carbs, but that seems to be a threat to my lifestyle I refuse to give up carbs...but if it comes to limiting more; I can do that. I just need to do it in baby steps. I plan on picking up the carb addicts lifespan program to have and i still whole-heartedly believe in IF (Intermittent Fasting). The five hour window hasn't been working for me since I am typically hungry at noon. So, I will eat between 12-8pm. Extra kudos if I can do 2-7pm...that is my ideal window. That way I can have dinner with the family. There, I think I have my plan together. I would also like to stay under 1500 cals a day. This shouldn't be a hard way to live. I think...Here it goes. I will keep this plan until the end of the week and make adjustments if needed. That is as far as my commitment goes. No weighing because i am packing and decided to pack that machine right away
