Honestly, I've been too too scared to start a journal, for fear of failure. However, I'm on day 8 now, so here goes!
Induction Week 1: Lost 8lbs! Went into small ketosis on day 4, and moderate by day 5. No Cheats! Started working out on day 6. Haven't stopped. Planning to post daily on meals, thoughts, lbs lost & exercise. |

Day #8 Weight: 230
B: 2 Egg Omellete w/sausage & cheese, 2 water L: Grilled Chicken Breast, Green Beans, 2 water D: S: E: 30 Minutes on treadmill, Walk 3 min, run 2 min intervals Enjoyed the treadmill alot more than the elliptical. Although I was quite dizzy when I got off. :/ I'm thinking about trying the couch 2 5K program I'm seeing so many talk about. I don't have an IPOD, so I'll have to go buy one. Daily struggles: The kids are eating a bowl of my favorite cereal. The worst part, is that I had to make it for them. So here I am, typing to avoid the temptation. I'm thankful that my dh is doing this with me. He's doing more of a caveman diet than Atkins, but I'm just happy he's not eating icecream in front of me. He's also working out! I'm so proud of him. |

B: 2 Eggs, Bacon, 2 water L: Steak, Lettuce, Tomato, 2 water D: Stuffed Green Pepper S: Haven't decided yet... E: 30 minutes on treadmill Overall, a good day, but am getting bored with food. I need to get on the recipe forum and find some good alternatives. |

B: 2 Eggs, Bacon, Water L: 2 McDoubles, no bun, Water D: Sirloin Steak, Water S: None E: 30 min on treadmill, some jogging I've noticed a bit of pain in my left heal while jogging. Think I better take a couple days off of the treadmill, so I don't injure myself. Lots of activity today, and not much food. Really hoping for a good loss. Still in moderate ketosis. |

B: Boiled Egg, 2 slices bacon L: Roast Beef, Water D: Green Pepper, Onion Dip, Water S: Turkey Bites, Water E: None B: n/a, Water L: Brats, Sauerkraut, water D: Chicken breast, Cauliflower, water S: Turkey Bites, Diet Coke E: 1 hour dancing On a 3 day stall. Actually, I gained a few pounds. I have no idea what is going on. My calories are low to me, I'm in ketosis, drinking at least 100oz water daily, and exercising. Ugh. I need a serious woosh. |
