Back to Basics
Hello friends!
Here is a spot where we can all come to for accountability purposes. Because we are all so busy, you are really going to have to moderate YOURSELF! Here's how it will work: 1) pick your (eating) plan and stick to it 2) pick your workout schedule and stick to it 3) post often for motivation and support 4) each week you can set your eating and workout goals, post them on this board and stick to it (noticing a pattern here?!?!) 5) persons accomplishing their eating goals receive 5 point, and 5 points for those accomplish their workout goals. 5 bonus points will be awarded to those who accomplish both. 6) As in our past challenges, bonus points can be scored by completing additional tasks, that may be suggested by ANY person in this thread. One bonus challeng may be offered in a 7 day period (so first come first serve)! (this is a great opportunity to challenge the rest of us to do what you're doing or to encourage yourself to work harder) So post your goals weekly! Stick to them and as usual SUADI! ![]() Chantillian PS ask your questions now, because we are starting immediately.

Ok, so I'm starting with Atkins this time around because I've been eating since I got married in June and today I heard the worse thing I could possibly hear!!!! Are you pregnant?!!!!!
I can't even think about it!!!!!!!!! THAT IS IT!!!!!!! (Only mad at myself) So, I'm grabbing bacon, eggs, chicken tonight at the store for the week. I'm low on funds so that'll have to do me til next Saturday/Monday.Last edited by Kocobear; 09-13-2010 at 12:37 PM.. |

True. Thanks for the welcome Lyn!!
I've been on LCF vacay the last few weeks and it feels good to be back. Although truth be told, I'm scared that I'll start strong and fall wayyyy behind everyone else like I have done in the past! I hate that!! Ugh!!Also, I'm scared that my hair will fall out again. It didn't do that the last time, but it did the first. I'm going to make sure that I get my salad or something veggie in! |

Ok, I just tried my sports hoop for the first time in at least 6 months and all I can say is OUCH!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't even do it for one minute. I'll try again in a few minutes and then make sure I do at least 5 minutes twice per day until I get to 10 minutes twice per day. I am NOT looking forward to this!!

Kim I'm using the Biotin (5000 mg). It really helps with the hair, skin, and nails. Just take it one step at a time. We're here to encourage one another, not win a race

Morning Sunshynes!
So yesterday went well... I had baked chicken and salad for lunch and wings for dinner but I think the sauce had sugar even though I asked the lady for just mild hot sauce...anyways still on plan today.... How are you? |

Morning Sisters!!! Thanks Chan!! I truly need the encouragement and I know that doing P2 this month, just isn't going to work! I'm hungry way too much to start there. I'll definitely be taking my biotin this time around and my other supplements as I can't afford to miss out on those. I totally didn't have time to get to the store last night, so I'll have to raid the deep freezer and see what I've got on hand. Outside of that, I'm probably just having coffee for lunch (forgot to bring anything) and maybe salmon cakes and green beans for dinner
. Boy, I do miss fried food on my woe!!Okay, today is officially my day 1 for P3. I say that instead of Atkins because I'll be in this stage for a month and then I'm going to switch to P2 for a month and then back to P3 for the month of November for Thanksgiving!! I'll then switch back to P2 for the first three weeks of December and back to P3 for Christmas. My plan is to be slimlicious (not sure where that falls on the scale ) by the new year.Starting D1P3 - 276 ![]() So far, all I've had today is a coffee with splenda and non-dairy creamer. 6g carbs. My goal is to stay between under 30 g carbs per day for this month.

i would say p3 is like induction with fruit. no low carb bars/tortillas/breads etc, but in p3 your focus is to add more protein but you can continue to eat fruit.
i prefer p3 over induction, because i like apples or grapefruit as my snacks and i like berries and yogurt for dessert. oh well really now that i type it out p3 is just no sugar no starch. i eat sf pudding, plain pudding, berries, etc. so its more free than induction. |
