godsbeloved79's Back to Square One

So after many failed attempts to get it right, I keep looking for the easy way out; only to return to where I started. So I'm back and PRAYFULLY I will succeed. I REFUSE to give up and settle for being the FAT chick. People are always saying "you're so cute or pretty" well thanks, BUT I want to be more then pretty. I want to feel pretty inside and out, no more holding it in or taking hours to shop for something to fit and settling cause I refuse to limit my sugar intake and unhealthy foods.

MY AIM:

*Being healthy and feeling GREAT
*Being able to wear EVERYTHING in the closet
*Cloths Cloths and MORE Cloths
*Photo shoots with MY sisters
*Living LIFE to the fullest

MY MOTIVATION:

Jennifer Hudson has inspired me to eat healthy and stay active. I know she's an actor and probably had some work done, but she is MY motivation.

Thanks Meek.

Kaimi I don't quite believe that, but she looks good and she motivates me to get my act together. So for what it's worth, I'll just pretend that she did.

So I just wrote out my grocery list and planned my meals. I will post my daily menus during Induction, for accountability and I also plan to stay on LCF as much as possible for encouragement. Facebook has taken over my spare time, but I'm not getting the encouragement that I need there, so here I will be. I'm so EXCITED, cause I'm going to give it MY all.

when a star loses weight why does everyone think they've had work done on them?

Let me rephrase that, maybe she did eat properly and exercise. But if there was sagging skin or etc, she can afford to get it taken care of. She looks FABULOUS. I know it's possible for her to do it on her own, but I think she did some extra stuff to make it all come together.

I PRAY this is MY year, thanks.

DAY 1: Induction

Good Morning Readers,

Thanking God for another beautiful day here on earth. I woke up with confidence, that I will succeed. I cleared all the junk food that I like out the house, and all I have is allowable foods and snacks. Now I have to get over this coffee addiction, I don't like the taste of splenda or all the other artificial sugars; so I'm cutting it out cold turkey.

Menu:

b/ 2 boiled eggs (really not that hungry)
s/ cukes with italian dressing
l/ salad (lettuce, cukes, cheese, bacon bits) and chicken breast
d/ broccoli and cheese with steak

Hope we all have a GREAT day and thanks for the support .

DAY 2: Induction

Good Afternoon Readers,

Sorry so late for my check-in. Got pretty busy in the office. Day 1 went well, as I knew it would. It feels GREAT to be in control again (it's just food, right?). Well I have to be brief, my boss is here and he has lots of work for me to complete.

Menu:

b/ 2 sausage patties
s/ slim jims
l/ salad (lettuce, cukes, cheese, bacon bits) and a bunless cheeseburger
d/ maybe wings with celery and blue cheese

DAY 3: Induction (Down 2 lbs)

Good Morning Readers,

It's FRIDAY and I'm down 2 lbs. It's probably water weight, but it's a minus so I'm a HAPPY camper. I've been taking my Biotin vitamins (5000 mg) for over 2 weeks now and my nails are growing out so good and thick. My hair is back to it's radiant state. Well I have invoicing to do this morning, so I'll check back in soon.

Menu:

b/ boiled egg and sausage patty
s/ slim jims or cheese cubes
l/ leftover lemon pepper wings
d/ ???

Exercise:

Plan to start Power Walking this weekend.

Great Poem: Posted by Amber in the ML

When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,

And you feel like the biggest failure in town.

When you want to give up just because you gave in,

and forget all about being healthy and thin.

So What! You went over your carbs a bit,

It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!

It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.

It's learning the skills to get back in your range.

It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.

You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."

It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.

You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.

To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,

if you summon the will to get back in the race.

But, often the struggler's, when losing their grip,

Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.

And learn too late when the damage is done,

that the race wasn't over...they still could have won.

Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,

but facing each challenge will help you grow.

Success is failure turned inside out,

the silver tint in a cloud of doubt.

When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,

If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!

DAY 5 & 6: Induction

Good Afternoon,

What a productive day it has been (wiping the sweat from my forehead). I had a GREAT weekend, got plenty of rest and spent QT with my family. I didn't get any cardio in as planned, but I will start my brisk walks this evening or in the morning before work. Not doing anything heavy, just walking for the meantime; to give my body a chance to adjust.

My meals have have been pretty much the same, boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, salads, wings, steak, slim jims or cheese cubes for a snack. Cukes and Italian dressing have been a life saver as well.
