Deb you are down 9 pounds this week!!!!! Please post your cycling schedule and calorie limit.....are you doing mostly protocol foods or low carb foods.....just curious....

Hiya Jan!.. lets see... last Sunday I started with around 600ish cals/extra protein plus protocol foods. No melba. Stuck to that for a couple of days, then went up to around 1000. Same types of foods, but no fruit or melba ( low carb ) .. back to 600 on Thursday, Friday was NYE so I ate alot and drank... too many cals to talk about.. Sat and Sunday .. VLCAL/carb. around 600 again.

Now, this last week I also started watching Jon Gabriels tapes and he says to just let GO of STRESS and let your body be the thin body it wants to be. I have been listening to his tapes every day and night before bed. They really make so much sense, and I find myself just NOT wanting to eat, because my body wants to shed this FAT SUIT.

So to sum up this babble... Low- 600 5 days last week. 1000 one day, and ungodly amount on Friday. LOW CARB. Fairly low fat. Protocol foods, not much variety, chicken, fish, spinach, P2 chili, one day I had a salad. I am aiming for REAL WHOLE FOODS... that my BODY wants.. not my mind..

Trial and error Jan, big time.

Deb... Whats the longest time you took the drops without a break??? I was wondering how long you can take the hhcg before you have to take a break..

I have pretty much been on them since August... I think I took a week or so off in November? I don't think you HAVE to go off them, but I want to know I can maintain without them also. I will take a short break after 3 weeks, then right back on again...

Thanks Shari, I have not always been doing this, I FEEL so much better when I do!!.. and that is my goal now.

At least 80% of my foods will be good, whole, healthy foods, and less than 20% anything else, once in a while.

Thanks Deb... I had decided to do Weight Watchers and I went to a meeting and it was cool... I liked the plan... Thing is I got on that scale and I almost fainted... 240 WTH... I was like ok I cant do this 2 pounds a week... I need lightening fast ... Soooooo I decided to give the hhcg ONE MORE TRY ... My problem before was I was on and off and back again because I hated the food.. Thanks to Magie I found another way ... Im gonna try it the Omega Spa way and see how it goes... THESE POUNDS GOTTA GO!!!! Today is day for me.. Im on my way... I just hate to keep changing my mind it doesnt look good ..

OOOO that is WONDERFUL DEB!!! I know I got so darn tired of the strict food too... and the other plan sure does sound more inviting!... This can work for you Deb!! Thanks to Maggie for journaling about it.

Just take it one day at a time!.. I know when I saw 282 on my scale I about DIED!.. talk about heart attack!!... Now I can look back and be grateful I stuck to this, even though I definately tweaked it along the way!..

LETS GO GIRL!.. day 1 !! So excited for you and for all of us!!

Deb, this looks like a wonderful plan! Seems the losses are the same as strict protocol without having to limit yourself.

Hiya Deb! I am thrilled for you. I hope to be with you very soon in the new decade. I have been keeping the cals low, but not too low. I am trying very hard to get into ketosis. We'll see what tomorrow brings. I began again on January 1, 2010 and have lost 3 lbs so far.

So ladies, no scale for me the rest of this week at least.. I made it to the new decade, and now I want to follow Jon Gabriel's advice not to weigh. He says 6 months, but I don't think I can go that long!!

For me a number tends to define how my day will go, and I HATE THAT!.. If it is good, then I feel ok about maybe eating more that I should NOT or don't really even want. If it is BAD.. I feel yucky all day. SOOOO gonna try it Jon's way for awhile... I feel good about that.

I know what you are feeling Deb. We are such creatures of habit. That scale is one of the tools we use to help us get our bodies in line but only 1 of the tools we should use. The scale doesn't define who we are as people. I am reporting daily at the moment to see if maybe I can help someone who is going through what I am and maybe they can learn something from me. I plan to report like every 4 days what my weight is and changing my stats to reflect it once a week. I am glad you are learning about yourself because I know this is important to you right now. Good for you!
