lol its not impressive,
throw frozen strawberries, heavy whipping cream, liquid splenda and a little extract of your choice into ninja. pulse. enjoy. its perfect! we love it. so much so that we have had it as after dinner snacks for the last two days. we also like raspberry icecream (tastes great with choc syrup). yum! |

we bought our ninja at big lots for $20 i think. Walmart sells it for 30 i believe. Super affordable and amazing. eta: i should be getting commission because i have reccommended the ninja to everyone and many have made and been happy with the purchase. (we used ours for snow cones this summer, om, perfection) We have a LOT of kitchen gadgets too, but we use our NINJA all the time. Look it up online. You will love it too! |

oh Shari you should cover your eyes in here!!!!
Yes, these stats are wierd to say the least. I felt myself shrinking this week... well actually it was more like this " how did my clothes get so big this week? " Seriously it feels like I am wearing someone else's clothes, and maybe I did not notice...very very twilight zonish... not complaining though! ![]() |

Here is a sample of what they were doing back in 2008... interesting!
![]() Date: Fri May 2, 2008 1:24 pm Subject: Lost 1.6 pounds this morning - I ate over 1000 calories last night! damianagothchic Offline Send Email Hi Everyone, I'm cycling up and was suprised that after doing a 546 calorie day I cycled up and ate over 1000 calories yesterday, got on the scale and lost 1.6 pounds! I am going to continue to cycle up today....so far today I've had a 4 oz steak and 2 ounces of cheese and a salad. Oh and an apple. Plus with cycling you don't need to use laxatives or tea that makes you regular...you'll be handling things on your own. ![]() I've noticed that as I cycle down to the 500 my losses are slower, but when you cycle back up it seems you lose more! We will see... This type of dieting is like walking with the wind....you know what I mean, I'm not fighting to stay on it...and its working! God I love bodybuilders! Thanks to them, I've found calorie cycling! Dakota

yeah, while i was sitting here before picking up my sons i found what may be the group chantyl was talking about. didn't even think to look at you tube! great idea...
this lady was talking about how to calorie cycle..i bookmarked the page because she explained how to use a formula based upon your goal weight! how exciting! i'm still going to finish up this round since i only have a few more days and this will give me the opportunity to explore more about this. it's amazing! the question i don't know is if she used hhcg the whole time or just on vlcds she mentioned something about using it to curb appetite on 500 day cal. deb you were on to something and didn't even know it...you rebel you! |

![]() I have been reading and it looks like she took it the whole time, but I need to read more. I plan to stay on it for 40 days and take a break just to make sure I can stabilize again without it. I do like the formula though, it is more structured than what I have been doing and might work even better.. I'll see! I'm excited to see what you learn and what you might be able to use too... ![]() |

lol...i wasn't until i read chantyl's journal i realized you guys had already found it.
yeah looks like she did one whole week of 500 cals then started the cycling. but that makes sense because week two your losses are slower..your body has to adjust to the huge release from week 1. so i guess the key is to 'trick' the body into thinking you're back on higher cals then keep it guessing..while your dropping weight. she said she averaged 1/2lb day..same as dr. s. plan. |

Good morning everyone.. yesterday ended up being 1750 cals, a variety of foods not low carb, but not unhealthy crap. I lost 1.8 pounds! so that shrinking feeling I was having yesterday showed up some on the scale today. Loving THAT!!!!
![]() I am so enjoying reading the cal cycleing stuff with HCG. I know they were doing injections back then, or HCG under the tongue, but not sure on the HHCG. So they were concerned with immunity some. I don't have that same concern. I do want to take a break off HHCG to make sure I can stabilize again, but I will go back on after that. I really think this is the answer for me getting to goal and staying there! I just need to watch myself once I get there!!! ![]() Oh gosh, I just noticed that is a 6 pound loss in 5 days! I'll take that every time eating like this!!!!! Last edited by Deb294evr; 09-25-2010 at 06:38 AM.. |

Morning Deb!!! Great losses! I'm so thrilled for you! I've been reading lots on that other site about cycling...so exciting!
I have a question/thought about this tho' (just things pop in my head as I read)....ok so cycling seems to work. You and Chantyl are living proof. My question is, once you go off of the hhcg, and up the calories naturally by eating LC (which I am assumming you/we would go back to ) would it make the pounds come back on? I am hoping no because this is wayyyyyyyyy exciting!!!! |
