Thanks Shari.
I finished R2P2VLCD5 and I had a zero loss this morning. That gives me a 4 pound loss for the week. It's almost eerie how this round is like the last one. I was scheduled to have a zero loss by looking back at my records from last round. I have been on p2 for 5 days. The first day I had a .5 difference in loss from round 1 to round 2 but the last four days have the exact same loss. I gained 2.5 more in loading this round. So, the first week of round 1 had a loss of 6.5 and the first week of this round I had a loss of 4. I feel like I'm in Groundhog Day. ![]()

Today I took a multi-vitamin, b12, 7 potassiums, and a probiotic. It was strange to take so many pills.
Tomorrow morning I am switching to a new scale which measures to the .2. Yesterday's menu: taco salad over romaine, apple, melba Biz's shake I might as well go ahead and include today's as I'm out of food. Today's menu: chicken, cucumber, apple, melba chicken, cucumber, apple, melba |

Thanks ladies!
![]() I finished day 7 and I am down .4 this morning (new scale) which makes 5.4 for the net total. Yesterday was a blur of running around and I didn't get to eat lunch until after 2. Thankfully, I wasn't hungry. However, I had been hungry the last few days, thanks to impending TOM. I had to go to a b'day party yesterday evening where there were cupcakes, cake, icecream and pizza. I took one of Biz's shakes with me and I was just fine. I didn't even think about eating the other food. It never even crossed my mind. And that is the part that just blows me away. Weird. Yesterday's menu: chicken, cucumber, apple, melba Biz's shake |

Thanks Lo!
Biz's shake is the shake a lady named Biz (Getting Down to Bizness, I think) from YouTube came up with. She has 2 of them per day plus a supper but I only have one as a meal. This is a loose recipe for it. 4 oz non fat cottage cheese, strawberries, cocoa powder to taste (I use 2T), spinach (which you don't taste in the shake), ice, water and a few packets of splenda (I use 4-5 per blender). Put all the ingredients in a blender (I use a Ninja which I LOVE!!!) and blend away. It makes a big blenderful. It tastes somewhat like a chocolate shake. Note I say somewhat. Some people love them and some don't. I think they are pretty good but what I love is they are so PORTABLE. I can just blend one up and take it with me for a supper on the run. Makes life so much easier when I'm carting dd here, there and everywhere. |

You know, you could probably take out the cocoa powder and strawberries, and use an orange with vanilla Torani's and have an orange cream shake. I might try that!

![]() Seriously though, I do need a blender. It's just me so I don't need an industrial-style one, but I love making blended soup purees, think it would do that? Smoothies too, I'm TOTALLY craving strawberries and cottage cheese right now!!! Quote:

I am having leg cramps again in the morning, so I'm bumping the potassium up to 8/day.
I just made the most wonderful smoothie. It aint much to look at, but it tastes really good. I used 4 oz cottage cheese, 1 orange, spinach, splenda, vanilla extract, ice and water. Kind of like a creamcicle. ![]() |

Cue the spooky music... I'm down 1 pound this morning, exact same as last round. I guess I'm so surprised because I expected this round to be so different from the first one. I was all geared up for something totally different!
I finished R2P2VLCD8 and I'm down a net of 6.4. Quote:

I am feeling better, but still have less energy than normal, I think. I added so many other things (multi, probiotic, b12) at the same time, so I can't say if it was the potassium that helped or not. I'm glad that it's better though! Thanks for asking! ![]() Morning Lo! Hope you're having a wonderful day! |

Congrats on the pound!! I'm seriously considering a Ninja, may get myself one as early as today. Shake season is quickly coming to a close and I'd hate to miss out on the fun of fresh fruit smoothies!!
