The shake CD was a success. I was down 3 pounds this morning, putting me at .5 below LDW.

I still feel out of control on my eating though. I just feel hungry and want to eat.

This is what I had today.

sugar free, nitrate free ham slices, sugar free apple cidar

burger with bacon and cheese (yes, I knew better than the cheese. I will most certainly pay for it tomorrow. ), salad (veggies & hb eggs & dressing), cherries, strawberries, canteloupe

salad & fruit (cherries, strawberries, canteloupe)

Deb, thanks for the chicken instructions. No more shake days for me! I was hungry all day. I will look for the carb controlled shakes. I never knew a lot of these products existed. I guess I have just looked right over them.

Whoa!! 3lbs...that's incredible!! Congrats on now being under LDW. The cheese may not do harm...I think only when you have it in excess during the first few days. You're good!

Heya GL! Glad you're doing well on P3, congrats on getting back down to below LDW!!

Those low-carb shakes were a saving grace for me, especially when I was working out. EAS makes a LC shake (EAS Advantage) that I actually prefer to Atkins and can find a few cents cheaper at Walmart. But gratz on the LDW, keep up the great work!!!

I finished p3d6 and I'm at LDW +.5 which is up one pound from yesterday.

My food for today:

grilled chicken breast strips over a garden salad (with eggs and cheese)
shake with almond milk, diet hot choc. mix and sf choc. syrup X 2

I got home too late to throw together a meal, so I ended up having 2 shakes. I can't believe they actually tasted good after that shake CD, but I actually liked them.

Hope the scale is kind in the morning.

Thanks Shari. I think I had really low calories on that CD. The shakes were supposed to have eggs but the idea of raw eggs just grossed me out.

I am so ready to add cheese back in!!!

Thanks Sassy! I'm glad to see you back on here. My p3 hasn't been easy. This way of eating doesn't come real natural to me.

I am going to look for those shakes. I am in Wally World practically every day of my entire life. I'm guessing they are near the health/vitamin aisle. Sometimes the way they organize the products leaves me scratching my head.

My P3 hasn't been all that great either. I (stupidly) assumed I could be good during a vacation and, well, I wasn't. Very disappointing, so congrats on sticking with it yourself!!!

I finished r1p3d7 and I am down 1 pound from yesterday putting me at .5 below LDW. I didn't eat enough yesterday and I was hungry last night. Scheduling is important.

Honestly, I couldn't do p3 on vacation. For some reason I think vacation means total freedom and that includes eating. Some people are able to watch the food intake and still have a good time. I'm not one of those people. It's a learning process, for sure. Don't beat yourself up over something you can't change though. Wastes too much precious energy that can be used for getting back on track.

Thanks Loretta! Good morning.

I finished r1p3d8 and I am up .5 this morning putting me exactly at LDW.

Yesterday's menu:

-grilled chicken, salad (with eggs), apple with greek yogurt, splenda mix
-cappuccino X 2 (sf hazelnut, almond milk, splenda)
-marinated sirloin strips (w/ sauteed mushrooms & onions, provolone), broccoli & cheese, cherries and strawberries w/ greek yogurt, splenda mix

I had a major 'sweet attack' after supper last night. It came out of nowhere and hit me like a ton of bricks. I need to have something on hand so I won't get crazy with it. Also need to learn portion control.

I have been on this site for years and have never even gone to the recipe section until this week.

P2 spoiled me and it's hard to get in the habit of actually cooking again.

Mmm your menu sounds good! I bought myself some almond milk a week or so ago but have yet to use/open it. Not sure what my holdup is, I was so looking forward to trying it but now that I have it I don't know what to do with it!

ETA: Yes the LC shakes are in the vitamin section of Walmart. The EAS drinks are usually $4.97 for four but WM (at least mine) often has packs of 6 out for the same price! They may have upped the prices, it's been a while since I looked. The Atkins shakes are generally just a couple cents more expensive and are right next to them. The Atkins shakes usually have more fat and calories than the EAS, if that makes a difference for you.

I finished r1p3d10 and I'm .5 below LDW. One of the coolest things about this is not having that raging hunger that is so ever-present in other programs I've been on. Thank you Lord for no hunger!!!!

Yesterday's menu:

B: greek yogurt/splenda cherries, apple, strawberries
L: chicken salad, guac, honeydew melon
D: spaghetti sqash casserole (GROSS!!! Didn't eat much), caprese salad, honeydew melon, ninja shake w/ almond milk, sf choc. syrup, toranis choc. syrup)

Congrats on the loss! Strange regarding clothes and feeling heavier...usually on P3 you continue to lose inches. Is TOM near?

I don't think TOM is near, but who knows? :stars I am retaining water, for sure. I was away from home all day and wasn't able to drink much water. Tomorrow isn't going to be pretty, I'm afraid.

I ate way too much today. A peach, a pluot, Wendy's baconator without the bun, a salad, a couple (or 4!) cream cheese muffins, then a Wendy's single w/out the bun. I also had a diet coke for the first time in almost 2 months. NIRVANA!

I'm not looking forward to weigh in.

Good morning Brenda. I hope the scale is good to you today. I've been surprised many times when I thought I ate too much but it was what my body needed because the scale stayed the same or showed a loss. Are you going to do P4?
