Hi! Thank you for the encouragement! I am on homeopathic hcg and I must say it has been a miracle for me. I was ready to throw in the towel and give up. Then I prayed that God would send me a way to lose this weight and a few days later I read a thread on here about hcg. I love it! To God be the glory!

I am down 1 pound today. 21.5 pounds in 32 vlcd's.

Menu for yesterday:

chicken chili, cucumber, melba
chicken taco salad, lettuce, apple, melba

I bought some liquid Torani sugar free syrup yesterday for the first time. I opened the lid in the car and almost passed out it smelled so good.

I tried a few drops in my coffee this morning and I'm hoping it won't stall me.

Also, yesterday I tried the juice of 1/2 lemon in a mug of warm water. This is supposed to be a diuretic. I think it worked! I'm going to start doing this everyday on p2. Already had my mug this morning.

Congrats! Are you using ground chicken or chicken breast for the chili and taco salad? I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow so I need to make my list for P2.

I just use chicken breast that I had already grilled on the Foreman and then frozen. I would prefer ground beef, but my grocery stores haven't had the lean in stock in a week or so. They need to get on it before I start clucking!

Lol right now I'm just hoping to see 205 by the end of this round but so far seem stuck at 208. Still that's 10lbs lost in these last 3 weeks and hopefully easily maintainable until R2P2.

I'm wondering if maybe I'd have better luck with the rx because I'm having only mediocre losses with hhcg. Next time I'm going to try a different homeopathic label (seriously eying Fusion from Netrition) and if that doesn't do the trick then probably the prescription (if it isn't too cost prohibitive).

Still, I can't wait to see you reach Onederland!! I live vicariously through others' HCG experiences!!

Sassy, I have thought about switching to rx too but def. not the injections! I believe it was Deb that said she had tried all 3 and did better with hhcg because of the way it made her feel. You know, I keep wondering if all hhcg's are made equally. Some people are dropping it like it's hot and others are average or below. It's probably just our bodies, but it does make me wonder a bit.

I'm down .5 this morning. I've completed 33 vlcds and I'm down 22 pounds.

Yesterday I had bad head hunger. All kinds of food images dancing through my brain. Hopefully they will be banished today.

Yesterdays menu:

chicken chili, cucumber, melba
scrambled eggs (2 whites, 1 whole), apple, melba

I'm actually going to try hhcg one last time but this time get a more "reputable" label instead of the cheapest ($10) bottle I could find. I can't say it didn't work - I'm down over 11 lbs from preload - but I've noticed others saying they lose better with certain brands than others so I want to give another brand a try before I do any rx. I have no idea how to get a prescription anyway, nor am I particularly enamored of needles.

Sassy, FWIW, I'm using the brand that everyone seemed to like. I looked at my calendar for comparison and on day 19 I had lost 13.5. Very close to your results.

Hm, I guess some of us are just meant to lose slower. I've been thinking though, earlier this year I got down to 205 then fell hard off the wagon, so this weight could be considered a previous low for me. I plan to maintain through P3 but am waffling over whether to do P4 or cycle right into R2P2 in 3 weeks. Lots to think about in the interim (including maintaining ).

I plan on doing a p4, albeit an abbreviated one. I mis-counted how many days it would take to do 2 long rounds before the holidays. I may only get one week of p4 in. I really want a p4!

Good morning, you know how loading is bittersweet...the loading part is fun but the physical part is like and the numbers are through the roof! I know it comes off but it's not pretty to look at. You'll be entering P3 soon right? Enjoy!

Hey girlie... yep, this should be my last week of p2! I'm excited and nervous both. I have no idea what to eat in p3! I'm going to start looking at recipes later in the week.

You start p2 tomorrow, right? Can't wait to watch you shrink!

Hey there, Loretta! I'm slow posting today. I had a lot going on. Church, then driving my dd13 to a school function (on a Sunday?? ), then Walmart (again!), then a movie with my family. I hope you're enjoying your Sunday. You all ready for p2?

I am down 1 pound today for a total of 23 pounds in 34 days. This will be my last week of p2. I have mixed feelings about that. I want more food but I love losing the weight. I have 2 more pounds to get to Onderland.

I really need to journal what happened yesterday. I have IBS-D and I keep messing my potassium up. Yesterday morning I woke up great, but about 10 I started getting sick and broke out in a sweat. I got really dizzy and felt like I was going to throw up. This had happened once before so I felt like it was the potassium issue again. I ate a cucumber with salt and an apple with salt and started feeling better about 20 minutes later.

My IBS trigger foods are not reliable. What is not a problem one day, causes a hurricane to rip through my stomach the next. I think iceberg lettuce is the culprit this time.

I drank lots of water and tried to stay hydrated. I took extra potassium yesterday too. I had planned on going out of town yesterday, but I was so sick I stayed in bed most of the day.

I'm feeling weak but normal today. Iceberg lettuce is evil. I wish I knew how to keep my potassium from dropping. It's a HORRIBLE feeling!!!

Yesterday's menu:

cucumber, apple, scrambled eggs, melba
chicken chili, lettuce, melba

Thanks. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your potassium, I hope it all evens out soon. I don't see any problems with you seeing onderland before you're done with P2. You have done an awesome job and I am very happy for you. I pray that I do as well as you this time around.
