Oh Brenda, I'm sorry this round is not going well. I don't know what the culprit is..you're so good with sticking strictly to protocol so I know you know what to eat. Is it time for TOM? Maybe your body is at a set point and rebelling for a couple of days. You have lost a lot of weight and sometimes our body has to adjust then start losing again. Also, each round is different..maybe cut out the chili for a day or so and see if that helps. I know for me, beef can either stall or reduce my losses.

Hey Brenda, I hope the scales are good to you today. Sorry you are having such a hard time, I hope the releases pick up for you. I totally understand how discouraging this can be. But try to hang in there to see what happens.

Aw, you guys are great. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. This diet can be so stinking hard even if you ARE losing weight. But when you're not losing, it is HORRIBLE and you wonder why you are doing this to yourself.

Still not much of a loss going on here. I have finished 6 days of strict, dead on protocol and I'm only down 1.8. The first week is supposed to be awesome on hcg. I don't understand it. I will for sure give up the p2 chili.

Tom left the building last week. Shari, maybe it is a setpoint. I've been at this weight since right before Thanksgiving.

I wonder if it's the drops. I've been using Mediral detox since the very beginning with no problems but at this point I'm second guessing everything.

I have been taking biotin because my hair is getting thin in places. I'm hoping that's not it. Gosh, now I wonder if it's any of my supplements. I started sublingual b12 this round hoping I would feel better. I'm also taking folic acid and a prenatal vitamin (for my hair). And of course my potassium.

I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty down about it. But I did want to come in here and post about it and not just quit. I am on protocol today and hoping for a loss in the morning.

do asparagus for one of your meals, add 2 more glasses of water to what you are already drinking add lemon juice to your water and try to get a good night's sleep
it is the steady losses that keep me going when i feel deprived i am so sorry you have had an awful week
i will look around and see if i can find more tips

No beating around the bush..it SUCKS to be this strict and not have losses. I'm sorry this round isn't going well for you. I don't know what it could be... I can only guess that you're at a set point and the body can be very resistant to break this. I hope you have a loss today.

You poor thing I can understand why your so frustrated doing everything right and the weight just not shifting, it is strange though that this being your 1st week and the losses are so slow only thing I can say is keep doing what your doing, your body has to release that weight at some stage, if your hungry eat more protein dont put yourself through the no lossing and being hungry at the same time!

oooh try Biz's shake for a meal divided into 2 and have another reg meal later MIGHT get things releasing again
Quote:
Here is a recipe for a smoothie while on plan.
3 oz cottage cheese
1 TBL cocoa
5 oz strawberries
a bit of water
3 oz of spinach
2 pkts of sweetener

Place in blender and viola!!!
have 2 of them in one day for a meal replacement then a reg meal later i know it looks like too much protein but i think that little extra is the point i am not a member of boot camp there so i don't have access to all the info but everyone talking about it says 2

Debk~when you say 'reg meal' do you mean P2 meal or regular meal like LC? I forgot all about the shake! I'll have to add that back in..it was delish.

No, it missed us. We're getting a few flurries here and there but not much. We still have a little on the ground from before so there's no school. Enjoy your snow! I love it!

Thanks Deb! I am a big fan of Biz's shakes. I had them lots of times last round but haven't added them in yet.

I had a loss yesterday of 1.2 so that made up for the pound I gained. I was hoping for another loss this morning but I am only down .2. That brings me up to 3.2 pounds in 8 days. Since I am just starting my week 2, I am considering finishing this week and interrupting at week 3. We all know the horrors of week 3.

I think I am going to switch my brand of drops. I wonder if the drops lose a little something if we keep using the same brand from round to round. I lost 25 the first round (40 days), 20 the second round (42 days) and this round is not looking good. I know we can talk about the brand we use so I'm going to see what everyone else is using.

Wow, I hope the van isn't damaged. It's snowing a little more here now too. We have lots of stuff going on that we have to go out and do. I'm wanting warmer temps!

Flying out the door right now but wanted to post while I had 2 seconds to spare.

I finally had a decent loss this morning! Praise the LORD! I was down 1.6 so maybe I can quit whining about it now. I do wish I could hit .5 average though. Sigh. My promise to quit whining didn't last long, did it?

I will try to check journals later! Out the door now!
