Thanks Shari. I found an online forum of people with the exact condition I have. There's not much you can take for it and the main thing is to find out what caused it in the first place. Who knows what causes it with me?! Could be any number of things. But it's the horrible condition it leaves your eyelids in that is the worst part. I'm 47 and look like I'm 87. Seriously. I am applying argan oil around the clock to keep it hydrated.

Morning Miss Lo Lo. Hope you are well.

I am on day 15 of p3 and I'm .8 below LDW. I am seriously SHOCKED at how much food I eat and maintain this weight. It boggles the mind. For instance, yesterday I had 2 plums, 1 apple, some pomegrante seeds with greek yogurt for breakfast. Lunch was 1/4 pound burger (no bun) with provolone and cheddar bacon cheese, steamed broccoli with cheese, deviled eggs and guacamole. Supper was a huge bowl of chili with shredded cheese. I am not a calorie counter but I was so stuffed from all that food. That's a typical day for me.

The first week of p3 was up/down weigh-ins, but that is normal for me. The most I have gone over LDW was 2.6 in that first week. I didn't do a CD and the scale dropped over the course of 2 or 3 days.

I have one more week of p3 and then it's off to p4. But (and I'm almost afraid to say this), I will be starting p4 in Disney World.

Day 17 of R2P3 and I'm down .8. I love how much food I get to eat and still stay in that 2 pound window.

Deb, Disney really is the happiest place on earth. I have only been once (2 years ago) but it was the best time ever. And the food is out of this world. Take comfortable shoes! Read the disboards and learn about fast passes. Are you going to stay at a Disney resort? If it's at all possible for you, the resorts are the way to go. If you stay at a resort, you can just use Disney transportation for everything. No driving = way less stress!

Brenda St Joe's ER is awesome copying and pasting what happened this eveninguick drive by update splitting wood was going very well and Steven was taking a turn setting the wood and holding while it split he pput his left hand too far to the side and it got caught between the hydraulic press and metal side of the wood splitter that was bad enough but the large bolt on the side caught on his knuckle and dislocated his ring finger he was jumping up and down Ken got him put his finger back in place and that made him pass out (he was honestly GREEN) Ken caught him but my poor hubby from being in combat didn't handle this very well i saidd let's just take him to the E R get it checked out STEVEN IS FINE should have said that first sorry i we got Steven set in a chair and i drove to a new E R that just went in in London KY (St Joseph's of London)cause we were just as close to go there as our reg one and i am so glad we went there! an hour and a half start to finish(very nice facility polite and prompt employees we just aren't used to that here) and he does not have any broken bones he is in a splint until Monday or Tuesday when i will make him and appt with an orthopedist they gave him a loratab and that helped a LOT

i know this happens and so does ken my friend Becky didn't take it so well she is a single mom of three and burns wood to help sav on her electric bill in winter that is why we hauled so much wood up there for her this summer it was free for us to cut and take away and she needed it BUT she says she is DONE with the splitter after being so PLEASED with it earlier you should have seen her face when that first log split like butter because she was using like a hand axe to try to split what she could get before now it casted 110 bucks for her to rent that for the weekend and i am determined WE ARE SPLITTING WOOD tomorrow! you fall off a horse you get right back up dust yourself off and go again and that is what i have tried to teach both my boys
she never lets her kids do anything where they could get remotely hurt and it showed tonight trying to get one of them just to help MOVE the wood
i want my boys to be able to function without me when i am gone
ain't no way i am letting her lose the weekends rental on that but gosh darn it i don't want Ken and I to have to do all the work like we did cutting loading hauling and unloading it earlier this year(my older son helped then too hers, same age as Kenny, did not).. i want to help people but sometimes you gotta help yourself too or not moan about it when you don't have something you could have easily changed

Steven has an academic JV Challenge tomorrow a long ways away and he wants to go and i am going to let him i will talk to his Coach in the morning to make sure if he gets to feeling bad that he will allow Steven to call and i will go get him Have GPS and know how to use it
he is asleep now and i have to have him at school at 6 AM in the morning

once again Steven is fine i just had to get that off my chest thanks for listening

Good morning Brenda, congrats on staying within range. I agree it's amazing how much food you can eat and not go outside of range when in P3 (if you stick to the list..lol).

Debk~. Glad everything turned out fine..what a day!

Goodness Deb, it sounds like you had quite an evening! I'm so glad Steven is ok!!! How scary! Thank God he didn't lose a finger. Tell him to make sure and take his ring off next time. And I totally agree with you about there being a 'next time'. How is he feeling today? I haven't seen the new hospital, but I know some wonderful people who work there! Tell Steven good luck on the academic meet! Hope he rocks it!

Did you get my facebook inbox message???

You too, Deb! Hope you get to do something fun! I have to shop today to get a few last things for my Disney trip.

This is R2P3D18 and I'm 1.6 below LDW. It's so awesome to eat enough food and still keep the weight off!

Thanks ladies. I am hoping that was just a stomach virus. I'm not sure though as it has happened a couple of times since I started hhcg.

I am MUCH better today. Today's weight was LDW -1.8.

Two days till Disney and p4!

People are finally starting to notice that I've lost weight. The other day a lady asked me if I needed grocery money.

how cool is that??? oh enjoy Disney for me! and scout out what we need to see we are staying in Cocoa Beach and will only have time to go in for one day so we figured Magic Kingdom

when grandchildren come along i am planning the full week Disney hotel experience!
when Ken returned from Iraq the last time i even had a week for us booked but my Mommie got deathly ill and we didn't get to go was not a bad price then 1500 for the whole week for 4 of us and that was with a dining pass and lots of other stuff so i am hoping it won't have raised too too much by the time we do get to do a full week

the one day pass for the 3 of us will be 250 before taxes anyways uh yeah the week is the way to go
SKINNY FLORIDA TRIP! WHOOHOO!

i will probably make some oopsies and let them dry out some and then tear into pieces to "bulk " up the stuffing
P2?? Look away NOW!

Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes

Quote:
SAUSAGE-MUSHROOM "DRESSING"
1 pound pork sausage
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped, about 4 ounces
2 stalks celery, coarsely chopped
16 ounces fresh mushrooms, quartered
4 ounces Monterey jack cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper, to taste

In a large skillet, brown the sausage along with the onion and celery. Cook until the celery is tender; drain the grease. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are tender. Put the sausage mixture in a casserole dish and stir in the cheese. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Microwave to melt the cheese and heat through or bake at 350º for 30 minutes until browned on top.

Makes 4-6 servings
Can be frozen

Per 1/4 Recipe: 509 Calories; 39g Fat; 33g Protein; 8g Carbohydrate; 2g Dietary Fiber; 6g Net Carbs
Per 1/6 Recipe: 339 Calories; 26g Fat; 22g Protein; 5g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 4g Net Carbs

Although the texture isn't really like real stuffing, the flavors are close. I made this for our Thanksgiving dinner and it was nice to have that stuffing flavor along with my meat and gravy. I would probably leave out the cheese next time. The cheese did help hold everything together but it got a little oily when I reheated it. I don't think it would be too hard to eat without the cheese as long as you keep the bits of sausage and mushrooms kind of big. Click the photo to see a close-up.

nom nom nom!
i am still on P2 and Drooling!

Wish I had more time to post. Thanks everyone for posting in my journal here! I will catch up with you good people in a few days. I'm sitting in a motel in GA ready to hit the road to Florida.

Started p4 yesterday at 2.8 (or 2.6, I can't remember) below LDW. My first p4 meal was pinto beans and cornbread at Cracker Barrell.

Off to hit the road. Pray for travelling grace! Love to all you guys!
