So food today was much more typical of where I wanted to be for P3:

5 eggs / 2 egg whites
1-2 cups Spring Mix veggies
Guacamole Bacon Six-Dollar Burger in lettuce wrap (Carl's Jr.)
- 1/3lb burger, cheese, 2 pc bacon, guacamole (2T?), chipotle sauce

I need to fix something for lunch tomorrow but because I was on holiday this week everything is either frozen or no good. I'm thinking about getting some Greek yogurt from the store and using that for breakfast and/or lunch... Wait. Better yet, tomorrow would be a golden opportunity for a correction day right? What are some options for these days?

Sassy, read the p3 tips thread on the Simeon's board. There are many types of correction days... steak, egg, chicken, shake. Pick the one you find most appealing. I did the shake day but left out the eggs and I got a little too hungry. Good luck with it!

Mmmm...Greek yogurt, now you're speakin' my language! What kind do you like? I know Kandi eats Fage but I've never tried it. I love the Greek God brand.

GL that's a good idea, I got several ideas off that thread. Forgot all about it; seriously, what would we do without this forum?!

Katy, Greek yogurt is DELISH isn't it?!! If Fage was sold locally I'd be all over that but my supermarket sells a Kefir Labne which is basically the same thing albeit a tad cheaper.

Well my well-intentioned steak day has been postponed; I got to lunch and my belly was cramping, my extremities were cold and my hands were shaking so I bit the bullet and got a burger (sans bun of course). I think I'm detoxing from the vacation food so I'll give it another day or so for my body to adjust (no headaches yet, thank goodness!) before trying some CDs.

This morning the scale read 5.2lbs over LDW, which means I'm getting close! Breakfast was some tuna and mayo and I probably won't eat again until after work. Yesterday I cautiously drank water because whenever I would I'd visit the bathroom and eliminate 2-3x as much. (not complaining!)

I have the beginnings of a headache this morning, likely due to lack of sleep these last couple nights and possibly detox (Induction flu). We've been trying to get my car up and running and it's almost there but always the end eludes us. Last night was particularly late so tonight I'm making myself do the bed thing mucho early.

I'm amused by my gurgly tummy this morning. Yesterday before bed I took my multivitamin and enzyme/probiotic and fell asleep to my symphonic belly. Nothing this morning but it seems they're still working their magic.

I need to start planning my meals again. That was the beauty of the protocol: I had my proteins already cooked and bagged which made it super easy to fly out the door in the morning. My frozen chicken breasts should be defrosted bythe time I get home so I'm going to be cooking them up in half portions on the Foreman then bagging like I used to. Also need a grocery run bad!!!

So much to do, so little money.

Hmm my muscles are feeling a bit crampy this morning. When I get home I'm going to take a potassium with my multivitamin and probiotic/enzyme pills and hope that helps. I've drunk 20oz of water so far today and hesitate to drink more as work is not kosher with many bathroom breaks, but that can't hurt me either once I'm home.

I can feel my body wanting to let go of more water and it's SO gratifying!! I'm barely 5 lbs away from my LDW and 3lbs from my window - what I thought would take a couple weeks has been accomplished in a few days and I'm incredibly thankful for that.

I'm so proud of you for getting back in the groove. You will hit that LDW soon!

I am the opposite of you on the tummy issues. My stomach loved p3 from the get go but I had terrible problems on p2. I think that's why my potassium kept going haywire.

Anyway, glad to have my p3 buddy back!

Aww thanks you guys!! After my vacation fiasco I was SO scared I'd screwed up everything I'd worked hard for!!

Lunch today was some chicken breast pulled off the bone with a bleu cheese dressing as a dip. Dinner was supposed to be a burger and goat cheese but instead I grilled up a huge chicken breast and had that (still with the goat cheese) while I grilled the rest of the (halved; they were huge!) chicken breasts. I also had two slices of cheese then half a container of Greek kefir/yogurt with Splenda (it started out only a small bit but then I had 2 "small bit" servings as it was SO good!!

I really hope to be within my window by this weekend but won't be surprised if it takes longer. Bernice has been a regular visitor this week, helping me eliminate last week's indiscretions permanently.

Breakfast this morning was the remainder of the tub of Greek yogurt and 4 Splenda, and 20oz water. Lunch is a bit of chicken breast and a spinach salad with chipotle Ranch dressing. I haven't had veggies in a couple days now so figured it was about time.

I went down about .6 this morning - I'm not sure if that was because of how late I ate, or what I ate. Either way it's a loss and puts me just under 3lbs away from my window.

Forgot to take my probiotic/enzyme and multivitamin this morning and the water/yogurt combination is sitting hard in my tummy this morning. I'm a bit concerned about the amount of milk products I've had the last two meals but it's too late now; maybe cut them out for a while until I get back to LDW to have a "cleaner" diet.

*ponders* Nah.

you are doing great.. you will get back to LDW in no time.

I bought some goat cheese. I tasted a little bit and wasn't too thrilled with it plain. Maybe cooking w/ it would be better?

I'm a fan of goat cheese on my burgers or used as a protein stuffer, but it can be an acquired taste to some. It's to the point for me that I actually can eat it plain quite happily, but I most love it as a garnish above pizza.

The water continues to come out in record amounts - I literally can't drink water at work for fear I'll have too many bathroom breaks! I guess I don't have a problem with dairy products, which is a big relief as I'm a dairy ADDICT.

Oh man but was I on dairy overload tonight. Didn't eat until a double cheeseburger (sans bun) from McDonald's but once I got home I endulged in cheese and yogurt galore. I had nearly the full container of yogurt and probably at least 12 slices of cheese. When I'd gotten home around 1:30 this afternoon I had a chocolate cake made with 1T flax meal/1T almond flour, 1 egg, a heaping tablespoon of cocoa, probably 6-8 packets of Splenda, 2T HWC and a dash of vanilla extract, microwaved for 90 seconds. (found on this week's HCG main thread) Good stuff and a great way to get my chocolate fix.

I've no idea how many calories or carbs I had today but I was Hun-GRY!! I drank enough water today but with all that dairy... Ugh, so much for clean eating. At least now I no longer have much in the way of yogurt and cheese. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Breakfast this morning was a one minute muffin with 3 Splenda and CO; lunch was rushed so I brought a bagged chicken breast. Hopefully there'll be some steak in the breakroom at lunchtime (perks of working at a beef packing house, there's always leftovers from cook plant). Gonna be a long day at work today though.

Just 2 lbs from my window!! I'm going to do a steak day tomorrow, and hopefully the correction will be the last impetus I need. that it goes well!!

Oh ladies, you have NO idea how flabberghasted I am that this has been so quick!!!! Seriously I was expecting it to take a couple weeks yet... I'm boggled, seriously - I have quite a bit of practice with low carb and that may be helping but I guess my body's as desperate to shed the weight as I am!

I really don't want to do this again though. No telling whether my body would be so forgiving a second time...

Alright, so the plan:

If I begin my next round on September 15, and do a 40-day round, I'll be done by October 29 and onto R2P3. Stabilize here for 3 weeks, begin the next round on Thanksgiving day (beginning my load days), end a 21-day round on December 20, just in time for Christmas dinner (our family smorgasbord usually consists of a ton of meat).

The worry I have is that I won't be able to do a 40-day round: the 21-day round was just enough for me, I was ready for it to be DONE by the end.

Schedule is a work in progress. I suppose phase one should be GET BACK TO LDW!
(hopefully checked off this weekend )
