LOL I think my body is exhibiting the two-day rule today as I'm up more than I've been since starting P3 today. I remember someone mentioning on the main threads it takes your body up to 2 days to really process everything so I think this morning's gain is due to my splurge on D1. (the fact that I finally got my water in yesterday probably is contributing as well) I can see I'm retaining water too - some of my clothes are a bit too tight as is the one ring I wear - but hopefully that'll go away soon. TOM is due within the next week or so, putting it smack in the middle of my Canada vacation but what's a girl to do?

Arg! I need to be packing and showering, not checking LCF and all my threads here!! Off to co tinue packing (and giving the pup some lovin's because I think she understands what's going on).

Oh, and "breakfast" was apple slices as my tummy just wasn't/isn't in the mood for much. I'll make my omelet when I get done with packing and gettng ready to leave, but I'm debating on making it LF as I want to give my tummy a break from fats and fibre, at least for the morning. We shall see, and NOW I get back to the thankless task of organizing!!

According to my parents' scales I'm down to 205.0 today so woohoo, still within range!!

Breakfast this morning was bacon and eggs; I haven't had much bacon since starting P3 (I know, shocking) and made up for that today.

I'm going with my mom to a BBQ today for her work/volunteer job which should be fun. Yay for more burgers and BBQ foods (the ones I CAN have )!

Lunch was BBQ chicken, some steak and salad with strawberries and an unknown dressing. I'm not going to fuss much about it but I'm looking forward to dinner: Greek yogurt with berries. Nummy!!!

Dinner was indeed Greek yogurt and strawberries but then I also had half a peach, cooked, with a bit of goat cheese in the middle. Next time I'll cook the peach a bit more (maybe steam it to keep it moist) but it was goooooood!!!

LOL wish I had a cut-in-stone recipe but they came out still a bit hard/undercooked so I'm still tweaking it. Probably something like 20-30 minutes on 350, I just laid the two halves pit side up and let them bake, then added the goat cheese to the pit area. I think I'd prefer to bake the goat cheese a bit to make it soft but it goes really well together!

This morning I'm back down (according to my parents' scale) to LDW so breakfast was a few pieces of bacon, then later this morning I'm going to a buffet lunch with my mom where I think there'll be enough variety to stay true to P3. May eat a bit too much but we shall see. I still have two Fage yogurts and strawberries for dinner as well as the leftover bacon (which I hope to save until breakfast tomorrow) as well as some apples so I should be good on food until I leave tomorrow.

Am seriously thinking of getting a little packet of chevré from the grocery store and trying some goat cheese again with the apples tonight. I guess we'll see where we are hunger-wise this evening.

Oh, and TOM decided to show up this morning as well. Right on time I suppose (I started R1P2 the very last day of my period and it's been a week since I stopped dosing so yup, 28 days. I'm not always regular ), hope it's not too horrid this time around, but great timing RIGHT before I go to Canada... *sigh*

It's another term for goat cheese, usually with the consistancy of cream cheese. Seriously, I eat the stuff like crazy on my burgers and now am going to try it with my fruits too.

Btw, good luck on your steak day, hope it works out for you!!

Yay Kandi congrats!!

Brunch went well with my mom, I was good throughout with several protein choices up until dessert which was strawberries and some very whipped sweet topping. I thought it was a frosting of some sort but my mom assured me it was a whipped cream so I ate it, fully realizing it was likely sweetened with sugar or honey. Oh well, I'll be good the rest of the day and hopefully it'll only be a blip on the scale. Dinner will likely be more strawberries and yogurt.

Today is my last day of a restful vacation - my sister will likely have a number of things planned for me, that's the way she is and I'm looking forward to it! - and while I probably should go visit some friends in town I really want to rest. I ate well at brunch and would love a nap right now.

Oh, and Kandi, goat cheese is AWESOME! Get just a small package to begin with, to make sure you like it. The kind I get reminds me a bit of cream cheese (a bit drier in texture) with a somewhat tangier (not necessarily bitter) taste. I first had it crumbled on pizza and fell in love; while I don't get it often I do enjoy it immensely! Hope it works out well for you; try it with a steak or on a burger, that's usually my favorite combination! And Katy I can eat it on a spoon too!!

The kind I get (don't know the name of it) comes in a 4-5" log in the specialty cheese section, semi soft kinda crumbly, but very creamy. I am drooling here, must pick some up...haven't had it in months. I bet it would be good with apples or stuffing celery with it.

I was thinking of trying it this evening with my apple if the yogurt and strawberries don't fill me up. I think my mother has a steamer, maybe cut the apple in half, carve out the middle bits, steam it for 20 minutes or so, put some GC in the middle then bake it in the oven for a while (maybe 10 minutes?) until it's sizzling and perhaps browning (either the apple or cheese, whichever comes first).

Gah! Now I want some!!!

Ugh, TOM for me too. The very day before I start p3.

I hates TOM

Oh yay, TOM is officially here in all its (painful *owie*) glory.

I was up and eating my Fage with apples and Splenda before I even remembered to weigh myself. Clothed I weighed in at ~207.6 so, meh, close enough.

My belly hurts and I couldn't even finish my yogurt; I ate it with the apple slices and 2 packets of Splenda then put the leftover half of yogurt back in the fridge. Hopefully it'll be good for snack later on.

Today is the day I leave for Canada!!! Can't wait; almost everything is packed (I have to make a store run for a few essentials, mostly for TOM ) and I'm ready to see my sis and BIL! Hopefully they'll have some pain relievers and TOM will come and go QUICK (apparently we're going camping and fishing/swimming this week; I could be a party pooper for some of the festivities *sigh*).

Before I had kids, I got horrible cramps. Have you ever tried the ThermaCare heat pads that stick to your skin? I would put one on my lower belly and it helped so much! Luckily, no cramps since having kids for me

Have a great time with your sister!!! How far along is she? Does she know the gender?

Well tonight was the first time I fell, no, threw myself off plan. I was doing decently up until the bbq tonight then had a bell pepper stuffed with rice. Then I had some small French cookies, then some homemade wafers.... Anyway, long story short, my sister has no scale so I won't be able to see the damage until I get back home. All I can do I guess is be as good as I can until I get home.

Anyway, just a quick check-in on my sister's computer but I hope all of you are doing well.

Oh dear.

Yeah..... I'm going to pay for this vacation. Was doing so well until the BBQ, then Chinese last night, then bagels this morning for breakfast and PB&J for lunch and...

Induction levels when I get home. NO SCALE if I value my sanity.

Sarah~Girl, you did not just do 23 VLCD just to flush it down the toilet! You can do this, you still have time to reign it in! Don't let yourself keep making poor choices for the remainder of vacation! This has got to be a plan you can work and if you don't stabilize correctly you will have a higher chance of regaining everything! Sorry for the tough love, but I have faith in you!

Okay, back from vacation! I prefer not to memorialize what the scale read this morning but suffice to say I'm back on P3. This morning was 2 eggs/2 egg whites and bacon with probably 50oz of water (which I totally skrimped on over the vacay ). I'm giving myself three days of "detox" then will weigh myself and hope for the best.

Gah, I've got a LOT to catch up on here at LCF!! Hope all your weeks were awesome!
