OMG, fried okra is one of my faves!! I have started food "wishlists" for P3, P4, and my next load and that is on my load list.

You can do this Sarah, think of it as a mental challenge, that is what I've been doing!

My mother called me yesterday afternoon and said that, instead of staying in the area over the weekend, she's headed back home today. I guess my grandma gave her a bad time on some issues they're both dealing with (my late aunt's estate, which my mother has power of attorney over) and my mother doesn't want to stay. So instead of Okie food, it's going to be Greek dinner tonight then she goes home.

Greek food! Favorite restaurant!! Egads what have I done to myself!?!?!?!!

....feel.....willpower........failing.....must hold...on..GAH!!!

*dies*

Just make sure you eat your meal beforehand, and maybe even throw in an extra dose. Then just order a hot tea and don't focus on the food. I don't suppose you can talk her out of going if you explain why? I have a work lunch coming up next Friday and I still don't know what I'm going to do, nor do I know the restaurant but I think it will probably be Mediterranean.

In other news, today was another Sarah-didn't-weigh-herself day. Crashed over at the Dude's place and rushed home to get the food, then rushed to work; didn't feel I had time to get nekkid and reclothed. In hindsight I could have weighed myself clothed but meh, I'll do it tomorrow. I didn't deviate off plan any, except Splenda is back in the game.

=====

Last night was chicken and spinach again; I ate my apple early in the afternoon and my Melba later. Lunch today is again spinach, hamburger, apple slices and 20oz green tea. Totally spaced on the Melba this morning. I brought a chai teabag into work in case I get the munchies; I'll be interested to see how I deal with this tea (my green tea keeps me regular I think).

Chili will hopefully be on menu again tonight but I worry about the Greek food. My mother would totally support my dieting but will want details, and I'm not sure I'm up for that yet.

In other-other news, I think my pants are fitting a little better. Not 100% sure as they're still kinda tight, but they don't seem as constricting as before. Silly perhaps that I don't know for sure but it's only day 5, I'll know for sure by day 14.

Well, crap.

Had a big serving of tea and decided to use a little packet of flavored sweetener that came in my Splenda box. (btw, chai tea and Mocha flavoring do NOT go together ) I was halfway through my tea when I looked at the ingredients on the sweetener and what pops up first?

Dextrose.

Crossing my fingers it won't screw me up. I'll be drinking extra water today just in case, hopefully it'll flush right through me. WTH is a "sugar" doing in a non-sugar sweetener anyway?

Crap. I've had more water than I know what to do with and am not visiting the restroom as much as I'd like. See, this is what happens when you don't read the ingredients before trying something new. Smooth move Ex-Lax!

I'm finally starting to run out of my cooked food - I need another cook day. I froze a few more burger patties and chicken, as well as several fish portions, so those'll be getting cooked this weekend. It's nice having everything ready like this, best keep up the easy factor.

Whoa... I just stepped on the scale, here at the end of the day, after drinking who knows how much (possibly retained) water, and weighed 215.8lbs.

Tonight was a change of plans but I'm thrilled with how I reacted. My mother re-rethought dinner so we ended up at Sizzler with my grandparents. People, Sizzler doesn't have much at ALL that goes with this diet - I had spinach and egg whites. That is all. I made several people laugh at me while I tried to pick out the individual egg pieces but I didn't care; I ate my salad sans any dressing and had an apple. When I came home I took a bite of some chicken but that was all for tonight. Except perhaps more water, just cuz.

Tomorrow will be another cook day. I'm looking forward to trying the fish I froze, I'm hoping this stuff didn't get any freezer burn (short time in there but one never knows).

Stoked indeed!!!

Weight this morning: 213.4
NET loss: 4.8lbs

I've lost nearly 11lbs from my highest load weight in the span of 6 days. People, I'm still in shock!!! If I can keep up even half as well the remaining 16, my goal of 195 is TOTALLY doable!!!

Weight: 213.0 for a loss of .4lbs

This morning I did something I may regret: I added a *small* amount of coconut oil into my green tea alongside my apple slices. Brunch was 3 egg whites/1 whole egg with spinach. I'm not sure what dinner will be but I'm thinking some fish would be nice.

I'm really wishing for a blender right now. A smoothy sounds divine but I just had my apple for the night so unfortunately sweets are out but fish and tomatoes are sounding good for dinner. I seem to be all out of foil though so grocery store it is!!

Sassy.. I am curious to see how the coconut oil affects you.. I cut up chicken breasts today... and cut off the fat.. without gloves. I am wondering what it will do for me tomorrow. I also had 1 TBL of milk in my coffee this morning. Hopefully I will still lose tomorrow.

Kandi, the coconut oil is a different type of saturated fat than animal, slightly different in solubility and the way the body processes it. I'm not sure why I even added it; a total whim I'm hoping I don't regret.

Dinner tonight was asparagus and fish, grilled/steamed together in foil (lovely invention, that). I'm finding asparagus is growing on me, provided it isn't over- or undercooked. It'll never be a favorite of mine but it's a nice diversion once and a while.

Seems whatever water blockage I had is greatly diminished - I've been running to the bathroom every half hour or so. Don't know if that'll equate to any weightloss though given the massive amount of agua I've drunk today.

Bernice visited, albeit briefly, so no Chocolate Smooth Move tomorrow morning. Despite the desire to see what chocolate tea tastes like, I'll forego the possibility of cramps during work in the hopes my normal functions regulate themselves.

I'm tired tonight though so an early bedtime I suppose.

Hey sass, I had asparagus too. I think asparagus is a natural diuretic. Could explain why you are running to the bathroom.

Lol too true Kandi, given how much water I drank yesterday I expected to not be allowed to sleep!

212.8 lbs - hard won from my cheap, unreliable scale. I figure this is my lull and in a couple days I'll have a nice big loss but I'm just happy the scale went down.

Didn't have much time this morning so grabbed a Melba for breakfast, sliced/bagged an apple and grabbed a burger. No veggies for lunch today, I'll try to make what I've got last.

Alright goal time:
210 by Friday 8/6
205 by Friday 8/13
195 by end of Protocol (will take 199)

If I can get close to these goals I'll be happy; surpassing them would be phenomenal!! All up to me keeping to the diet and the vagaries of my body so we'll see.

Dinner tonight was a serving of fish, a roasted tomato with Italian seasoning and apple slices. Pretty simple but nice.

Despite my desire to wait another day or two, I had some Smooth Move tea after work today as I've been feeling, hm, pressure for a few days but no release. Nothing yet ... *grumblegrumble* Maybe another in the morning?

Right now I'm tired so an early bedtime it is!! (that should keep me from giving in to any cravings )

I was coming in to ask that same question, Kandi! LOL

You can totally achieve those goals! I cannot wait to see onderland and I bet you feel the same! I haven't been there since I was pregnant and sick with my daughter!

I also totally need a Berniece visit but no teas or anything else for me. I am still nursing my daughter so anything I take would also affect her.

Kandi last night I just seasoned it, slapped it beside the tomato in glass cookware and put them in the oven for about half an hour at ~300*. The fish I think was tilapia but can't rightly remember; definitely a white fish of some sort. Sunday night though I wrapped the nearly frozen fish in foil, lightly seasoned it, put the asparagus atop and around and baked at 325 for a bit over 30 minutes. Both ways work well, I was just lazy last night.

Down another .8lbs this morning to 212.0 for a net loss now of 6.2lbs. Well on my way to my goal of 210 by this weekend!! My goal this round is to get to Onederland, even if I need to do HCG a couple days extra. Can't do it too much beyond 21 days however as I go on vacation mid-August and want to be somewhat stable by then.

My morning tea was another Smooth Move, as I've yet to see any results from the one I made 16hrs prior. Hopefully this can help clear me out as I just feel, ugh, build-up but no release, no matter how much water I drink. I think this batch may finally be working but we'll see.

Sassy- what kind of seasonings? I lost .8 too last night. We are on the same ride right now. Have you thought of adding in magnesium? The bottle of 250mg is only a couple dollars at Walmart. I take one every day and it really helps in the Bernice dept.
