Your hair sounds beautiful as is... I love thick, curly hair. You should post a pic before the big change!

Lol, before and after, check! It really is pretty but I get the feeling, once I get over the strangeness of straight hair, I don't think I'll miss it as much as my family will (they think doing this is like giving away gold ).

I'm up .4 this morning to 200.2 but I'm not that worried. Bouncing around like this seems par for the course this round: I lose a pound then gain .4 back; lose another pound and gain some back. Progress is in the right direction however so I'm satisfied.

Woke up this morning to a serious case of the I-don't-wanna's: didn't want to get up, didn't want to eat breakfast, didn't want to go to work, etc. I also woke up a tad depressed which is odd - I'm getting the impression, based on my body's signals, my brief TOM-ish experience this week was merely the calm before the storm. BOO!!

Breakfast (was NOT in the mood to eat yet wanted to - yeah, I'm hormonal) was my normal chocolate cottage cheese and apple slices. I haven't taken any supplements in a couple days so will be getting my multi this afternoon as well as potassium and magnesium.

I'm seriously in the mood for an omelet - specifically, a shrimp and spinach omelet. Which, as we know, isn't exactly protocol. I'm out of apples and need tomatoes, and have $3 in my wallet until Monday. Time to find all my change: CoinStar, here I come!!

I generally use a bit of Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (maybe a teaspoon, I'm not much one for measuring) and a packet of Splenda. Makes a decent chocolatey concoction I use as a dip for my apple slices. Lately it's become a morning staple since it's so easy to make.

Dang it! Just got back from the store. When i arrived home i had a serious bad attitude so i sat down and ate some chicken breast w/squeeze of lemon and steamed cabbage w/garlic salt. I also used some red pepper flakes to spice it up a bit. I feel better now, but that chocolatey concoction sounds so good! i'll need to go back to the store in 3-4 days for more fruit so i'll pick some unsweetened cocoa...thanks for the tip

No problem Jennifer!

Lunch, which is simmering as we speak, is P2 chili with 4% ground beef, 2 small tomatoes and half a yellow onion. I put way too much spice in it by accident (I tend to throw these things together haphazard anyway, but the chili powder came out pretty fast ) so here's to hoping it all soaks in! I've got one more hamburger (raw) patty and the tomatoes need to be eaten asap so I'll probably make the same thing for breakfast tomorrow, and a spinach/tomato omelet for lunch tomorrow (which I probably should have done today, that spinach must be on it's last leg).

So far I've had only 88 oz of water, 48 of which I just drank. I may hold off on eating the chili for a while after it's done...

Awesome! I really want to try this P2 chili. It sounds wonderful. Husband unit is preparing bison burgers tonight for us. I just love bison, it is so flavorful and always organic. Much better than the ground beef in my estimation. As for a veggie, i think i will have broccoli with some garlic salt. I just need to make sure not to over do it.

Oooooh bison burgers sound SO good!!!

Ended up drinking (well) over a gallon of water yesterday and paid for it today.

VLCD12: 198.2

I get the feeling that tomorrow will see another bounce up but as long as it keeps bouncing further DOWNWARDS I'm just fine with that!!

Breakfast is going to be a spinach and tomato omelet and lunch/dinner will probably be more P2 chili with the rest of that onion. The Dude isn't around to cut it for me this time though so that could change.

They were very good! I used a bit of mustard and pickles on the side. The omelet sounds great. I almost did that today, but when i went to the store i picked up some unsweetened cocoa and tried the chocolate concoction. It knocked my socks off!!! Thank you for letting me know about that I didn't use apples though. I sliced some strawberries, added two spoonfuls of nf cottage cheese on top and sprinkled with the cocoa powder and stevia. It was wonderful!

Well, so today's going to be different. On a lark I sliced up an apple, put some cottage cheese in a cup with cocoa and Splenda, and had myself a snack.

So in 2 hours I've eaten both my daily meals except for one veggie. I think I'll get rid of my asparagus today as it's looking a bit wilty.

Not sure what bee got in my bonnet there, but okay so today I ate most of my food early. I may still fix that chili tonight for breakfast tomorrow, but today is turning into a possibly busy day (at least this afternoon) so it'll depend on whether I find time.

Sassy, are you noticing any difference in your losses since you switched drops? I've got to order today and I was wondering what you thought.

You know, I hadn't even thought about it! Week 2 has flown by, and where it was my second least favorite week R1, I seem to be doing well this time around! My pattern of weightloss is definitely different - this time around I'm bouncing up and down, up and down (but mostly down, thank goodness!) - but I think it's too early to tell. Week 3 was when everything seemed to grind to a halt weightloss-wise which I'm entering now; I think this'll be the kicker.

I'm surprised however to see myself going through my 2oz bottle as fast as last time - 21-24 per day vs 36 last round - but perhaps the dropper in my newer Fusion is wider?

I suppose this week will tell for sure. I'm not expecting much loss this week based on last round's numbers but I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

You know, I hadn't even realize I was done with week 2 of a theoretical 3 already!! Last round I was angsting about every little thing but this time has been so painless!!

Boy I hope the weightloss picks up a bit! I can't complain about Onederland but barely 6 net pounds in my first two weeks? I was hoping for 185 by the end of this round but I may need to readjust that a bit. No more crazy loading days this year!

Still though. Onederland. Still geeking out about that!!

While I am so very grateful for the weightloss I've had, I'm still jealous of the people who are losing a pound a day. There, I said it.

To any HCG newbies out there thinking load days will be fun, that overeating on your favorite things is awesome...well it ain't. It sucks hardcore - makes everything you do eat, well, less tasty when you "have" to eat it. Sort of like how reading certain books by yourself is awesome, but being forced to read them for school sucks.

I'm so, SO very glad this'll be over tomorrow.

This morning was a (very soggy *blegch*) tuna fish sandwich with 20oz water, an enzyme/probiotic combo and my multi. I dosed at 4am, and will do so again almost every work break (~every 2-3 hours).
lol, newbie alert! I start sometime this week or Sat. So you take the drops on loading day, correct?

Thank you for a doing a journal. Awesome!

I'm the same way. Last round I got myself into a funk because I wasn't a "rockstar" loser and refuse to do that this time! I have a goal, no real time limit (other than Christmas) and I'd rather not weigh myself than depress myself right into cheating.

But UGH, I sometimes feel like such a tortoise!!

Heya Stevie!! Yup, load 2 days with drops, then VLCDs. Good luck!! Oh and a piece of advice (which isn't necessary but is on my mind today): spend your load days ODing on fat not carbs. Lots of protein, cheese, nuts, veggies etc won't have you gaining excess load weight you'll just be taking off again. Just something I wish I'd done this load round!

So dinner was, well, an experiment I'd been wanting to try for a while. Whether it'll work as a protein (that helps me lose) remains to be seen.

Finally did some grocery shopping. I can has chicken for the first time this entire round!! Tomorrow I'll portion it all out but it's funny, I'm so looking forward to chicken marinated in Franks Red Hot, or even just plain. I must be getting tired of cottage cheese.

Also found some tomatoes for $.47/lb, so believe me when I say I stocked up!! Don't know how good they are, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Alright, so dinner was half a small cup of 2% Fage Greek yogurt with an apple. I figured cottage cheese was okay so 100g of yogurt can't hurt right?

198.2 lbs this morning. Again. Third day in a row too.

Breakfast was a little different than the norm: hamburger patty with Cajun-seasoned tomato slices. The tomatoes I got are rather bland but spice them up and nummy! I'll probably use them more to make chili than by themselves but I couldn't pass up getting 3lbs for only a buck fifty. I was going to add some strawberries but ran out of time this morning so they'll wait until this afternoon. Yesterday's deal was buy one 1lb container of strawberries, get 2 free. I think if I wasn't in P2 or if I had a blender to make shakes I'd have been ALL over that, but as it is I don't use enough to justify keeping that much around for long periods. Then again, I'll probably change my mind and go get more today if the deal still stands.

I agree... freeze them! If you put them on a cookie sheet and make sure they are not touching and freeze them, you can put them in a baggie and not have a big clump. That way it is easy for you to just pick out 5 strawberries (or however many you use).
