Finally braved the tummy and had both a piece of chicken breast and a burger (both of which were pre-cooked P2-style but not P2 weights) with the Chipotle Ranch dressing. The belly still feels a bit uncomfortable but it hasn't made it any worse - perhaps a bit better?

I'm done forcing myself to eat. Throughout my P3 I've been doing high fat, I *really* doubt I won't have enough "fat stores" for the beginning of my VLCDs. I merely want to be sure I have enough HCG in my body to begin, plus get rid of as much food in my fridge as I can that's not too tempting (like that Chipotle Ranch or the last tub of Greek yogurt). But I'm pulling back on volume today, preparing for my VLCDs beginning tomorrow.

Hmm I'm thinking dairy doesn't agree with me at the moment because just as I started to feel a tad better this morning I had a chai latte (homemade) with HWC and the tummy isn't happy again. I've also had a bit more to eat, including a piece of pepperoni pizza and a seafood salad sandwich but those came after the tummy pains.

Part of me wants to pig out this last day of loading but my body is SO not in the mood. Gotta say it again, I'm looking forward to the VLCDs - maybe not as badly as my first round (when I *really* overate!!), but I can't wait for a regimental plan of attack. I've got my protein but still need the fruit and more veggies. These first 2 weeks may be a tad sparse because it's the beginning of the month and the money is tight but I'll perservere. Hopefully without going hungry.

For today though, I still feels whenever I think of food, yet I eat because I feel I need to for proper loading. I'm glad this isn't a normal thing for me.....

How did the rest of loading go? I wish I could start with you and Kandi again! The timing just doesn't work out for me but I'll still be rooting you on!

Ate (over) half a large pizza tonight, I think that qualifies as a good loading finale. Had a seafood salad sandwich but I think I'm officially done with loading today. Tomorrow begins my VLCDs; I need to do a few more things grocery-wise like get fruit for tomorrow. I think after 3 weeks my remaining apples have surely gone bad, I'll check them tonight.

Yeah my weight really fluctuated wildly with this load, I can feel it. Probably should have waited another week while I keep my weight steady but a little late now. Still, hopefully it'll come off quick in the first few days of VLCDs, wish me luck!

Have fun loading! I think I had a bit TOO much fun and brought a tummy ache with me into P2.

Final load weight was 211.4 lbs which is exactly 7 over my pre-load. I know it'll go away quickly but what a way to feel like you're going backwards...

Breakfast this morning (I break my meals up at 12-hr intervals for intermittant fasting; may try experimenting further with it this round) was 2.7oz cooked chicken, an apple and boiled spinach. Yes, boiled spinach - because lately I don't trust the stuff raw. If there was an emoticon for hurling I'd be using it but I've resigned myself to eating to live, not necessarily living to eat. It's not a bad lesson to learn IMO.

My tummy ache has migrated into a backache so I'll be downing some ibuprofen at lunchtime and hopefully that'll knock it. Then this afternoon I go food shopping; maybe get some celery and Bragg's LA for dinner and try that with chicken and a tomato. We'll see, it's all in the air at the moment.

So far doing good (6 hours in ). My stomach is rumbling, no doubt used to my grazing, but I'm not hungry yet. This morning I have help so have already downed nearly 55oz water, and hope to do more. That pizza in my belly from late last night is holding onto water like crazy but as soon as it gets out of the way I fully expect a Whoosh!

I'm trying to drink as much water as I can early in the day so I can spend the afternoon eliminating whatever I can. My thoughts are that tomorrow will be a big Whoosh day which sucks as I have no work help but I'll manage.

Anyway, it feels weird to only be dosing 3x a day instead of 6x like the last bottle. I find I'm worrying about whether or not I have enough HCG in my system; I'd hate to be deficient and screw up this round. However I love that the Fusion lacks the alcohol taste of my last batch of drops - these are almost lemony!

I made a slight booboo yesterday: after work around dinner time I took a nap...and didn't wake up until this morning. So no dinner last night, much to my dismay.

Weighed in at 208.8 this morning, down 2.6 from my highest load. I'm pretty sure my late night load pizza held me back a bit, hopefully today I'll start moving past that. Bernice visited a bit yesterday but hopefully her presence will be made manifest sometime today too.

Breakfast was 2.7oz chicken and an apple - no veggie. Not ideal but best I could do since I didn't grocery shop yesterday like I plan either. Lucky that the Dude's fridge had the apple actually. Also downed 20oz water with my supplements.

Belly feels as if Bernice is fixing to make a grand entrance. Here's to hoping she waits until break...

Is the 2.7 ozs of protein just because you haven't been to the store yet? I was thinking that is what you said but just making sure. Great job!

When I was in P3 I bought some chicken breasts that were WAY too big so I randomly cutthem in half and cooked them, saving them in individual baggies like I do for P2. Well after deciding to spontaneously begin my R2 and finding myself short on funds, I drug those out, wittled a couple down to 2.7oz (since that's about what 3.5oz raw cooks down to) and have used those my last couple meals. I have to do grocery shopping today though as I'm officially out of P2-friendly protein.

Great start to your p2! You'll be in Onederland very soon. Go to the store and get you some food. It stinks to be hungry and have nothing protocol friendly on hand!

Indeedly! It's on the books for right after work. Already have my list made up - pretty meager but then, that's protocol!

Had a nice visit with Bernice just now so that should take care of that. Have had over 60oz of water so far today and hope to double that by the end of today. I'm looking forward to grocery shopping but will be doing it on an empty stomach - considering I have a VERY narrow budget that could be a bad idea. BUT, I have a list so we shall see!

Work is over, time to shop. WOOHOO SHOPPING!!!! *bounces about*

Dinner was about 4.2oz cottage cheese with some cocoa and a packet of Splenda (interesting, but I think I like my CC plain from now on) and an apple. Once again no veggie, nothing really seemed appetizing to me.

The store, very surprisingly, was all out of chicken so my protein will be consisting of the CC, extra lean ground beef, leftover eggs and shrimp. Now to portion everything out; the shrimp will be easy but I may actually wait to do the beef portions. No real good reason except it's messy and I'm lazy today. Its easy for me since I only have to eat at home now, doing breakfast and dinner, and don't have to make lunch. Still, grab-and-go is very very nice so time to portion everything out.

Except for breakfast the first day I've yet to have any veggies. This is not a good trend but nothing sounds GOOD! I ran out of money at the grocery store (we're talking TIGHT budget here) so didn't get the soy sauce I wanted to fry the celery in. Technically I want some Liquid Aminos but didn't see them there this time around. I did however pick up a bottle of Torani's SF caramel syrup - yeah, my budget could stretch to accomodate my sweet tooth it seems.

Off to prep!

Not too sure but it'll probably be used somehow with the apples, possibly with my teas. I just wanted a flavor to experiment with, this'll do!

Bernice isn't letting me go to sleep. It's all well and good she visits but, hm, when is enough enough? My fault for eating so much fat and dairy those last couple days maybe - I expect a decent loss by tomorrow, that's for sure!

ETA: Yup, already down 1.8 from this morning. I'm hoping for 3+ lbs by morning, which would be a good thing if I'm ever allowed to sleep! *sigh*

Breakfast this morning was an apple and cottage cheese; still seem to be cutting the veggies out. I don't mean to specifically leave them out (unlike the Melba/grissini which I don't eat on P2) but I'm not hungry for them at all.

My tummy is rumbling earlier this morning and I'm a wee bit hungry. I dosed an hour before I ate this morning, earlier than normal since I was already up; I doubt they've worn off yet but I had to be reminded by my hunger yesterday (a couple hours after I'm scheduled to dose) to take my drops. I swear 3x a day mat be easier but there's more room for error.

I'll probably have a tea with Splenda for lunch break, hopefully my tummy will stop it's growling. With Hurricane Bernice making pre-break somewhat miserable, hopefully she'll stay silent now until lunch. She let me sleep last night but seems back with a vengeance. Same thing happened last round too, it'll be over soon.

Unfortunately.

Wow, hunger pains much? Tummy refuses to quiet despite the tea and 2 splenda I had at lunch break. I'm going to dose at my final break; if that doesn't cut it then I'll eat when I get home, but that should do the trick.

Arg. 1:15hrs until break though, and my stomach is insistant!!!

Oh wow I gotta do this again!!!

I made dinner earlier today. The drops did indeed help curb the hunger but the Dude met me at work and escorted me home (we were both on our motorcycles) so I made him a goat cheese burger with the leftover ground chuck I had in the fridge. Totally forgot until I was washing my hands to be careful handling it: D'OH!!!

Anyway, while he ate his burger I chopped up about 4 celery stalks, added some water and soy sauce to a pan and started boiling the veggie. When the celery started to get soft and the water was almost gone I added in shrimp, turned down the heat and covered it. I then moved to my fruit, slicing an apple into narrow slivers (one swipe with the slicer/corer then cutting the individual slices in half again lengthwise), putting some water and Torani's SF caramel in another pan then cooking down the apples/water/Torani's until the liquid was almost gone. While that reduced I had the shrimp/celery (draining everything I could because I don't think soy sauce is part of protocol), then the apples.

OMG, to die for!!!!!

Which leaves me with several more hours awake sans food. I'm fine with that, gimme my water!!! Hopefully the soy sauce (with it's high sodium and, well, soy) won't be a deterant - I just wanted to try it with the celery but threw in the shrimp just cuz - but I'll be adding more water to my diet today hopefully to compensate.

R2P2 Measurements

Today being VLCD3, I figure I should do measurements. Last night I took these before bed so they should be pretty accurate for the start:

Waist: 35"
Chest: 42"
Underbust: 37"
Thigh(R): 26.75" - near top
Forearm(R): 11" - near elbow
Calf(R): 15.75"
Wrist(R): 6.5"
Neck: 14"
Above knee(R): 17.25"
Hips: 47" (at butt)
Upper arm(R): 15" - arm held up/out to side

This is more measurements than I took last time so it'll be interesting to see how they stack up this time around. Now to drink a few more big glasses of water and call it a day! (even though it's not yet 5pm )

VLCD3 results

Didn't quite make it to my LDW, losing 1.4 overnight to 204.2 lbs. While it's not a bad loss by any means I'm looking for more daily this first week so until my losses slow no overdoing it on the sauces or salt.

I'm having serious problems with getting my veggies in. Other than last night and breakfast of D1 I haven't had any veggies to speak of, just my apple and protein choice. Tonight I'd like to do the chili but am debating whether to do two (or more) portions so I have a meal for later, or fix/eat as I go. I've yet to portion out my beef as I forgot yesterday but I have baggies of shrimp already done.

So tired this morning. My fault, only got 4 hours sleep which obviously doesn't help. Breakfast was once again CC and an apple: something simple. I need to cook up my beef as pre-made burgers are just as easy and more filling than CC.

Gyah. Just wanna go back to bed, not be at work!! Nappytime when I get home for sure!!

Thank goodness I'm not experiencing hunger this morning like I was this time yesterday! Today (like usual) I ate breakfast then dosed; yesterday I dosed over an hour before I ate. I'm not sure if that made any difference but why mess with something that works right?

Tea with 2 splendas again at lunch; no multi today (they make my stomach hurt here at work) but I did take some L-carnitine, potassium and coral calcium at first break.

That chili is sounding to die for: I wonder if I can add another tomato and make that my fruit? Guess it can't hurt to ask on the weekly thread. I want very little salt today however - spicy yes, salty chili, no. Wonder how that'll work out.

Hmm, maybe add small bits of celery instead of another tomato to bulk it up? We'll see but it's sounding SO good!!
