Did the steak day, it was hard!!! I had an Americano with HWC this morning and then nothing (not even water...oops) until the steak and tomato dinner. I am drinking water now because I finally realized I hadn't had any today. I was busy today running errands, we have C's 1st bday party on Sunday. We also have a wedding tomorrow so I sort of foresee another correction day on Monday. I may try the nut day then, we'll see!

199.6, .6 over LDW so the steak day worked! I was up peeing all night! Weird how that works. Busy weekend with wedding today and baby C's birthday party on Sunday!

Yay! I stayed OP for the wedding, no cake for me! (now for C's bday party tomorrow, that will be another story!)

Breakfast: cheese (I love cheese, can you tell?)
Snack: black olives
Lunch: green chili egg casserole (subbed reg. flour w/ coconut flour)
Snack: Americano w/ HWC
Dinner (at wedding): veggies w/ ranch dip, strawberries, canteloupe, deli meat, deli cheese

I was very lucky in the sense that Baby C was being a fuss-butt so I left briefly to drive around so she could get a catnap in. They cut the cake while I was gone and it was pretty much gone when I came back. The great part is, I didn't even really want any!

200.6, still within my window but close enough that I am expecting a correction day tomorrow, especially since today is the big birthday party!!!! Her birthday isn't actually until Thursday, but with her being born around a holiday, having it early made it possible for more of the family to be here since some will be traveling over Labor Day.

You know it's interesting how I'm no longer hungry for sweet stuff - I've eaten it but it doesn't make me "happy" anymore. I can totally live with this though, I'd rather not have any more chocolate cravings!!

I love sweets too.. they are my biggest downfall. Sometimes it is better for me not even to start on the legal treats. I have trouble w/ moderation.

Me too! I have no self control with sweets. Specifically pop. I am ashamed to admit I was probably drinking close to a 2 liter of Pepsi or Dr. Pepper daily before starting this!!! Isn't that horrible?! My goal is to NEVER have another sip because that would be a slippery slope for me! I am like an alcoholic, just with pop.

I used to be like that w/ Pepsi a long time ago.. Now my fav is Coke. If I have a diet one, I prefer Diet Pepsi over Diet Coke. Now, I just drink water.

Today's menu....it isn't pretty but here it is for my own accountability. I am sooo expecting a steak day tomorrow!

Breakfast: green chili egg casserole
Snack: cake doughnut
Snack: Americano w/ HWC
Dinner (C's party): carrots and celery with dip, brisket, green beans, small bit of potato salad, small amt of pasta salad, 3 bread and butter pickle slices, one deviled egg
Snack: 2 pcs bday cake & ice cream , coffee with half and half

so, yeah, not exactly an appropriate day.

NO STEAK DAY!!!! I can't believe it, I am 201 on the dot, exactly 2 lbs over LDW. So today I am being super diligent with my water so I see a loss tomorrow.

I wish the best for you tomorrow!

I forget, are you in P3? The reason I am asking is because next Friday I am going to go to my friends birthday dinner at a sushi restaurant. I really want sushi. I will be about 4 days from P4.. I think I am trying to give myself an excuse for it to be ok and have that for dinner.

Yes, I am in P3. I think we ended P2 on the same day. So, I assume you like the sticky rice in your sushi and ordering sashimi wouldn't be the same? I think you'd be fine, it's not like portions are gargantuan when sushi is involved.

Today's menu:
Breakfast: coffee with HWC
Lunch: green chili egg casserole, celery and carrots (oops) with dip
Snack: coffee with HWC
Dinner: green beans with bacon
Snack: greek yogurt with SF Davinci

The leftover bday cake was staring at me all morning but I resisted! I went ahead and threw it in the dumpster because my husband doesn't care for cake and I don't let my kids eat sugar on a regular basis, just special ocassions.

You're doing great!!! Yay for ignoring temptations!!!

Are you planning on doing P4 or cycling back into R2P2? How much longer do you have for P3?

So the scale was 201.6 this morning; .6 over my window. I didn't do a correction day because I just didn't. That makes me worry somewhat that I'm not super willing to "work the plan" when it comes to that. I will consider it a little more if the scale doesn't cooperate tomorrow. Oh, and I am thinking TOM will be here any day. I've only had 2 since having C so I'm just basing that off of how far apart the last 2 were (35 days), I usually can tell when I'm ovulating but couldn't tell this month.

Today's menu:
Breakfast: Americano with HWC
Lunch: BBQ buffet: salad with Ranch, brisket, hot links
Snack: 1/2 peach
Snack: greek yogurt with SF Davinci

I can't believe how long my lunch stayed with me! I ate the yogurt around 930 and now at 1145 I'm kinda hungry, just going to bed instead. My fingers are swollen from lunch so I'm guzzling water, I hope I'm not up a ton peeing tonight, but I'd rather do that than a steak day so bring it on, I guess!

LOL! I'm contemplating a steak day sometime in the next couple days myself but am hoping eating cleanly (aka, Atkins Induction levels) will do the trick without a CD. Of course I goofed on that by eating a full tub of Greek yogurt over the course of both meals (along with goat cheese and 2 slices regular cheese). I suppose that's why my vacation losses slowed this morning.

How is your morning so far? You back under LDW or is a steak day on the menu?

Ugh. A steak day should be on the menu, but it remains to be seen if that will happen. I don't know why I am so resistant to it. I guess I will give it a shot, it's just so hard to not eat all day. I am drinking an Americano with HWC right now so I guess I will do coffee with cream and then a steak for dinner, then at least the cream will sort of keep my from starving.

Weight was 201.8, .8 above my window.

Katy ~ When I do a steak day I have a couple cups of coffee/hwc and then eat dinner early (about 4pm) along with my tomato. I eat a huge ribeye and it keeps me full for the rest of the day. Drink a lot of water too!

did sort of a modified steak day, I did have some cheese and yogurt. It got me back in my window, so that's good! 200.6 today.

Today is my baby girl's birthday! Here is a little video I put together Chloe Noelle
