Today was supposed to be a DD but I binged big time. I feel full, sick and disappointed. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do to correct this according to JUDDD, but tomorrow is my anniversary (although I think my husband forgot/will forget....) so I guess I will do a MD and keep it LC. I am positive I will be up a few pounds tomorrow.

well, today was my wedding anniversary and my husband forgot.

tomorrow is a DD and I am looking forward to it! I feel like I'm getting a cold.

You should've reminded him!!!! Sorry he forgot I always remind my DH of anniversaries, bdays, etc. because he will never remember. I know he doesn't mean to not remember - he's just a blockhead when it comes to stuff like that. I'll just nonchalantly say "are we going to dinner on Sat. for our anniversary?" - that way it doesn't seem like I'm reminding him

I'm on a DD too - I'm thinking of a large Wendy's chili around 3-4 o'clock and raw veggies all day. What's on your menu?

I usually remind him but this year I didn't want to. I guess it was kind of a test for him, which may sound immature...and maybe it is, but I get tired of being his calendar year after year. He has forgotten my bday and my first Mother's Day too. He said he will make it up to me this weekend, LOL.

Today I plan on maybe a greek yogurt, Panera prepackaged soup (got it at Sam's but Target has it too) and an Atkins shake if needed.

Ooooh, what kind of soup? I LOVE Panera! How many calories? I may have to run to Target!

I got the vegetarian black bean from Target, I think it was around 230 calories for the whole container (maybe 2c. worth?). It was in the refrigerated deli section at a Super Target.

I got the chicken tortilla from Sam's and it is 240 cals for the container. It was much more filling than the black bean one!

*big sigh*

Here I am, after being off plan since Saturday. I am so bloated, so uncomfortable. My stomach area puffs out so much when I'm off plan, I look like I'm about 5-6 months pregnant right now and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the scale was close to 200 again.

I am so sad, angry and frustrated at myself. I don't like berating myself because I don't think it's healthy but I am really wondering wth my problem is. I am spinning my wheels and seem to have a mental block with getting below 190, I self sabotage every.single.time.

Anyways, tomorrow is Halloween and I'm sitting here trying to decide if I will jump back in full force or if that would just be setting myself up for failure since I don't feel strong or encouraged right now.

We've all been there I say start again today and you'll feel MUCH better by tomorrow. Even if you just stick to low-carb today you can get the bloated feeling to go away. Maybe if you weigh reality will set in and you can get back on track. Don't beat yourself up though!!! That's not gonna help

Awwww, Katy. I wish I could help you. But as Gracie said, we've all been there before. Is it easier for you to stay on plan when you're in ketosis??? What if your UD and DD were based on calories, but were all lowcarb so you had that appetite suppression of ketosis?

If you literally eat some fatty, lowcarb meal every few hours (say, a piece of steak, or chicken with skin) to keep your appetite at bay, would you be able to get through the day without eating yucky foods?

The good news is that all it takes is ONE day of eating lowcarb to feel better and lose that puffy stomach bloat cr&p. So even though you feel really far away from your goals, you're actually not. You also lose really quickly when you're on plan, so <190 could be very close for you. Like in the next few weeks, for sure by thanksgiving. And then 170s could be there by New Years!!!!! You just have to buckle down for 2 days, get in ketosis, and use that to help you stay in plan. Maybe you're one of those people who can't eat carby foods in moderation. Maybe as you lose weight your tolerance to carby foods will improve???

I dunno, obviously you know yourself best!!! I'm just trying to think of what worked for me when I was in that dark place that you're in right now.

In any case, thinking of you. And I KNOW you can do this!!!!!

Thanks Gracie & Sam

I don't think I am one of those who can have carbs in moderation, they always seem to cause cravings/binge eating. I started out doing LC JUDDD but was slowly eating anything if I didn't plan well. I loved the freedom of it but I don't think that it was smart as I obviously went off plan. You know, I think if my husband wouldn't have screwed up our anniversary I would still be OP. I had my rotations set up to have an UD on our anniversary and then again on Saturday which is when I assumed we would celebrate. We ended up celebrating on Sunday and it just spiraled out of control from there.

I will be doing a DD tomorrow to get back into my rotations and I plan to do LC. I need to get back to where I have no appetite and am just eating when hungry.

I love fresh starts so I am very excited that tomorrow is November 1st. In order to get back on track quickly, I am going to use up the Atkins shakes I have in the fridge on my DDs until they're gone.

Tomorrow's plan:
2 Atkins shakes @160 cals each=320
Coffee with h&h=100
80 calories undecided as of yet...

Considering the posts since I got pregnant last year have been nothing but try and fails, I will be starting a new journal soon. I will link this one and vice versa when I start the new one.

I just feel like it's time to start fresh! Austen is almost 10 month old now, the age Chloe was when I first started hhcg so that is what I am going back to. I am loading over Thanksgiving and will start P2 on Saturday! I am very ready and very excited! I am also joining the Y in the next few days, I need to have an outlet over the winter months. Being cooped up in a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 kids will make me more crazy than I already am! I can use their KidZone for up to 2 hours per day, and the kids will LOVE going there. The plan is to work out, maybe sit in a hot tub or sauna and have some mommy time on a regular basis!
