VLCD11, weight 206.4, so a loss of .2. I'll take it since I hardly drank anything yesterday and I probably ate 2 too many strawberries. I am starting to get a meat aversion so I am boiling some eggs for lunch. Does anyone know real quick...is it one whole, 2 whites or one whole, 3 whites????? I can look it up but thought if anyone here knew quickly....

I had a much better day today, plus I felt a lot better about my fatigue after looking it up on the pdf. He says it is due to losing fat as such a fast rate, so I guess it's worth it! I also was not hungry today.
Menu: Lunch: 1 whole egg, 3 whites Snack: strawberries (6) Snack: melba toast Dinner: 1 whole egg, 3 whites Snack: strawberries I did not eat veggies today, they just didn't sound good. I am out of my good tomatoes from the farmer's market and won't be able to get any more until Saturday. Ugh. Tomorrow is my office lunch so just trying to mentally prepare for it. I've already decided to ask for a grilled chicken breast, no oil or seasoning other than salt and pepper, on a bed of lettuce, no dressing. Wedge of lemon on the side to squeeze over top.

I just remembered this....at work today my lotion holster (belt thingy that holds my lotion bottle) was loose! I had to tighten it!!! Woot Woot! I worked last Friday and it fit like usual.

So, for my work lunch I ordered grilled shrimp on a bed of spinach. I am kind of wondering if they didn't brush the shrimp with oil because the spices were really crusted on. Ugh. Hopefully it doesn't hurt me too much. OH, and they charged me a ridiculous amount!!! $7.95 for a spinach "salad", $3.95x2 for 6 shrimp! My bill was close to $20 with my son's food added on!!!!

Lunch: overpriced spinach with 6 grilled shrimp, melba toast Dinner: hamburger patty, mustard, tomato Snack: strawberries & melba toast I skipped one fruit today, I was away from home all day and didn't have one packed. Since I am suspecting a brushing of oil on the shrimp, that's probably a good thing. Hope I don't see a gain tomorrow because of it. |

VLCD14, weight 204.4 which is +.2. I woke up with a killer headache and I am not a headache person so I'm sure I'm dehydrated from the salt in the lunchmeat and pickles. Plus, very slight burn from the lake yesterday so definitely getting some water down!

I am scared to have lunchmeat.. This WOE is so strict that I don't want to derail myself. I want to hold out for as long as I possibly can on P2. I would love to be able to eat the normal low carb foods in a week, but I also want to lose as much as possible. We will see which want wins.

The sunburn more so than the pickles and lunchmeat is likely the culprit on the gain/water retention. Yeah I get headaches too when I'm dehydrated - my muscles also cramp especially my hands and arm, so I'd definitely recommend doubling up on your water today.
I'm with Kandi, I've steered clear of lunch meats as they tend to have a lot of sodium and preservatives, and I want to do this round as cleanly as possible. Baby your skin, drink as much water as your stomach can handle, and I hope you'll make up for this little gain in the next couple days!! ![]()

I only did the pickles and lunchmeat in a pinch because of the lake, it definitely won't be a regular thing. Other than that, I have stuck to protocol 100%, the only recipe I even make is P2 chili.
Today's menu: Lunch: round steak, onion, melba Snack: 1/2 grapefruit Dinner: hamburger patty, mustard, tomato, melba Snack: 1/2 grapefruit I snuck a peek at the scale and it was the same as this morning so I am certain it will move back down. |

Yeah, Potaty!! I always take a sneak peek at the scale at night.. sometimes several times. I have eaten pickles with no problems.

Potaty, I cleaned my house this Saturday and was up and about almost all day. I was sore Sunday. I wonder if this VLCD makes us more sore more easily?

Great job Katy!!!! You are so close to ONEDERLAND!!! My first round I remember I got to 198 and was ECSTATIC!!!! I stabilized a little bit higher but I knew that onederland was within reach. You are dong fantastic!

Sorry about that.. it is frustrating not to have those awesome losses every night. I only lost .2 but I shouldn't be complaining because at least I lost something. Have you been drinking enough water?
