Checked my BS at the restaurant and it was 125! Pretty good! My sugars after were 151.

I had a big ice water with lemon, perfectly grilled tilapia, green beans, and a garden salad with blue cheese!

I was extremely happy with my meal and I feel satisfied!

Rebecca, I will be following your progress! You are doing such a great job so far! I have the exact same problem as you with my blood sugars. If you find that you are unable to regulate them with diet alone, you might look into insulin. I know that sounds scary, but it is the easiest way to regulate your sugars, and you dont have to have a prescription to buy it. Without a DR though, you will have to do a lot of research to find out a good starting point for injections though. Anyway, just a thought. Again, I will be watching to see you turn back into the girl in that picture!!

Thank you Brandy! I totally agree with you! I've only been eating like I'm supposed to for a couple days.. It looks like it might work for me, but if in a week I just can't get it down I will definitely go to the Dr. Don't you worry! I am not playing around with this disease!

Ok I woke up this morning with a BS of 178! I think the green beans poisoned me! Maybe some hidden flour! GRRRR well i'm eating very clean at home soo I'm not going to worry about it.

I need to figure out a menu! I went to make my son and hubby something for lunch and it was slim pickin'.. I mindlessly eat the same stuff eggs, sting cheese, jello, hot dogs, and that won't fly with the others! =D

My after dinner BS was 136!!! WOOT! =D I went to walmart and got more LC appropriate foods, and a spiffy new Atkins' book! I'm gonna go read it for the rest of the night and take notes! I am soo happy!

I also talked to my sister on the phone and told her that I wasn't LCing to lose weight. It's to control my blood sugar. I feel better and since I got my new book (couldn't find my original) I can eat as clean as possible! I just want to get to one day were the way I just eat, are natural. Not something to stress over. I haven't stressed really, but I am afraid to go out to eat.

I woke up to see that the scale said 252. Pretty Amazing! =D My bs was 135 (pretty happy about that). I woke up at 6:30 on my own! Now I need a nap LOL! I can hardly keep my eyes open!

I think I'll go stare at the back of my eyelids for a while!

Hi Rebecca! I saw you on the pizza crust thread and saw the link for your journal, so of course I had to check it out!!
I hate waking up that early.. My internal alarm clock goes off at 634 almost everyday.. UGH. So annoying. I normally have to get up at 420 for work, so I guess its a sleep in for me.
Bummer about your headache! I hope it goes away soon, that is exhausting in itself!

Feeling really good and my BS is 132!!!

I need to change my stats to 251.

The only problem (which it's not even a problem really) is I am a bit over whelmed with what to cook.. It's my fault I need to suck it up and plan a menu, but I haven't!

I think I'll work on that now! This website has no clue how much help and support it's been. I thank God everyday for LCF.
