I've found weight will bop around like that. I used to gain a tad before. Big whoosh too....find your body's loss patterns...it makes ya feel better when these things happen.

Hi everyone!!! I'm not dead! I'm still here, still chugging along. I'm a bit disappointed in me today, because I opted to sleep instead of eat and drink. I'm trying to make up for it now by drinking lots of water. Any helps right??? The only other thing I've had to eat was a serving of LC chocolate candy Yesterday I struggled with desires to binge. I know it was brought on by the stress of me gaining weight. So I ran to the store and bought SF stuff and I'm VERY sensitive to the side affects, so I'm hoping by eating it I'll remember all the time I spent in the bathroom. BUT I have no desire to eat today! Blah! Although I did have a steak (with my son) at 5 this morning. My kid is so weird, he WANTS to wake up a full hour before he needs to be up (in case he wants to watch tv or play a game) That's dedication right there.

I made myself 3 scrambled eggs and 2 sausage patties. I could only eat half of each! I'm now nursing a 32 oz water. I'm about to get started on organizing my pantry. It's going to be fun with some good music! I feel better when my surroundings are less cluttered. I feel really happy today. Much less food obsessed today. I weighed this morning and I'm 229. I know my stats say 227, but I want to keep it there to remind me I was there. KWIM?? It might sound silly, but it's almost like an encouragement for me.

I've decided to go with the Zone diet. I'm pretty happy with my decision. It incorporates all the foods I like (now) versus later. That was a stress on me. I have to do what feels right. So I'm choosing this path!

Small two block lunch for me.. Today was a horrendous day for me to start a diet. Hey if I can succeeded during a s@#% storm then a normal day will be a piece of cake. =D

I have never in my life, felt a change in my body this quick. The Zone diet (like LCing) is geared towards people with hormonal imbalances. I can literally feel things/twinges/aches in my left ovary.. This NEVER happens! I also have a crap ton of energy!

Breakfast was a 3 block meal!

3/4 cup of lf cottage cheese (1/4 cup =1 block)
1 cup strawberries = 1 block
1/2 cup pineapple = 1 block
18 dry roasted peanuts (low salt) = (6=1 block)


Lunch was a 2 block meal!

1 smal apple (1/2=1 block)
1 tab pb (1/2 tab =1 block)
1WWbread (1/2=1 block)

Dinner will be between 2 and 3 blocks!

4oz chicken
1/2 cup peppers
1/4 cup onions
1 tab of butter
1/2 cup of grain (quinoa, saffron rice, or redbeans and rice)

I'm going to be eating a LOT of this Zero point soup! What's not to love? It's all veggies, stock, and tomato paste(two tabs for 9 cup servings). I've also decided that I am eating primarily vegetarian during the day and I'll eat my protein at dinner time. I'll have dairy throughout the day!

I'm back! Again! =P My friend and I are going out on a limb to see how successful we can be if we premake everything. I know that LC is literally the only thing that works with my PCOS body type. As you can tell I'm not good with sticking with things.. I let my weakness get the best of me... BUT I'm looking forward starting back up and posting pics of my food. I'm also thinking about posting a weekly vlog update... Good or bad.. Maybe it will help me stay accountable. I sure hope so.

Hi there.
Thanks for dropping by my journal. I too have started/stopped a million plans, but so far so good on Atkins. Honestly, planning and pre-cooking meals is the only thing that has kept me afloat. Of course, I am busy so it's hard sometimes. I've learned that when I'm in a crunch I should at least pre-cook some ground beef/chicken and then I can figure out a quick meal later. I like to browse LC recipes and then just pick a few for the week. I tried monthly planning, but that's a little too involved for me and well, maybe I don't want taco night three Wednesdays from now!

also, I don't know if I'm allowed to share websites here, but "ziplist" has been awesome. It lets you add a button to your browser and then saves the recipe you're viewing when you click it. Also allows meal planning, grocery lists, etc. Love it!

Don't get me wrong... I LOVE low carbing (atkins in particular), but my love and need for sugar is sometimes more powerful than me. I've recently realize (I don't know how it wasn't sooner) is that I am a binge eater. Happy, sad, mad, glad I'm eating as hard as I can (Think Mrs. Pacman). I've tried to educate myself about LCing since 2003. It's been a movie on loop of the same 30 lbs up down up down up down... You get the drift. =) Where are you going with this, Rebecca?! OK! What I'm getting at, is I'm trying something a little different. I'm preplanning and prepping my food ahead of time, instead of buying 100 dollars worth of meat and cheese...=O I'm hoping if I work hard and lay myself a bricked path, maybe my journey to my destination will be easier! I've been trapped in this fatty skin bag for a decade. I'm ready for some new skin, well not new, just formed into something else. =)
