Tenabodena's Journal

Thought I'd start a journal to track my food and exercise.

Monday May 24th
157

Breakfast - 2 cups coffee with splenda
Lunch - rotessierre chicken
Snack - cheese stick
Dinner - steak with veggies

No exercise but I will go walk tomorrow morning.

Calories are low. I am not very hungry. Kinda depressed that I am starting over yet again, almost back at where I started.

BTW, my goal is to lose 6 pounds on induction. If I stick really close to it that is doable.

I am hungry but I am not going to eat anything in fear that I'll end up with something that I am not suppose too. I think I'll take my sleepytime medicine and call it a night, in shear fear of blowing my plan.

Thursday May 27
154 (need to take a laxative, its been a few days)

Breakfast - coffee w/ splenda, I am sooo not a morning eater, the thought of food makes me gag before 10am!
Lunch - 4 oz's John Saul's fajita chicken breast, 1/4 c cheddar, 2 packets salsa
Snack - cheese stick
Dinner will be a beef burger with lc bbq sauce, small iceberg salad with Paul Newmans lite balsamic dressing (no cheese since i have had quite a bit already today)

I had a headache again but it went away after I ate lunch. I am cranky and have atrocious breath.

I bought boiled shrimp and lc cocktail sauce for tomorrow! I am very much looking forward to it.

Kitchen is closed, day 4 done. No drinking either. I barely make it through every afternoon. Happy hour calls me every day. Its always my downfall. This weekend will be hard too but I am focusing on one day at a time.

Tomorrow I am having another hamburger patty with cheddar for lunch and cajun boiled shrimp for dinner.

I bought a big Sadler's brisket and some zero carb bbq sauce. I am splitting it with my mom. Its already cooked so I'll just make a double batch of LindaSue's coleslaw and I'll be set for a few days. I just need to stay away from all social engagements and I'll be fine.

Unfortunately it takes all this planning for me to stay on plan. I have very little willpower at all. This is more of a desperation thing. None of my interview clothes fit!

Lunch was at Bruno's - Robin Hood salad split with my mom - iceberg, salami, pepperoni, provolone, moz, black olives (picked most of the green ones off), italian dressing, several glasses of lemon water
Dinner was 1.5 hamburger patty with no carb ketchup, cheddar cheese, 2 Coors Lite, cheese stick

Yup, day 5 done, kitchen is closed, still on plan. I had 2 beers though, sitting on the back porch with dh after he got home from work. It could have been much much worse. I wanted mexican food and lots of off plan food but I stayed at home in fear that my willpower has wavering with the alcohol. Whew, close call for sure. I barely made it, but I did so YAY.

Tomorrow is the cajun shrimp for lunch and brisket for dinner. I may roast some asparagus for a side with dinner.

Posting from yesterday...

Saturday May 29th
153

Breakfast - normal
Lunch - Newk's Ultimate:
mixed greens, grilled chicken breast, ham, turkey, bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheddar cheese and croutons tossed with balsamic dressing

Then we went to the lake and it went downhill. I got too hungry and hot, had to eat something so ate off plan. Not dwelling, it was not a binge or emotional eating. KWIM? When I have gone off plan in the past it was emotional binge eating on carbs and stuffed myself. This was a hot dog, a few chips and some cheese dip...and if I could have eaten on plan I would have.

Anyway, no guilt today and back to eating low carb. Oddly enough it does not feel forced, it feels kinda....dare I say...normal.

I changed my mind and made LindaSue's BLT Unpotato Salad instead.
Super yummy!

Kitchen will be closed in an hour. I have no fear of going off plan, I am firmly planted on the couch watching movies tonight.

Monday June 7th - day 1, again

Here I am again, starting over. When does this cycle end. When do I stop eating so much. So many bad foods. When does my will power get stronger. When will I want it more. When do I stop using food to not feel. When do I get it right. When does this weight come off. When do I stop stuffing my face because I am scared of the future. Scared of being hurt again. When. Maybe today, day 1, again.

158

I am going to cont. logging my food in every day in many posts. I will state my plan then adjust. I have to have a plan, if I don't then I will fall into a drive-thru or a bag of chips and hot sauce.

So far, today I have had:

2 cups off coffee with splenda
1 link summer sausage, big glass of water
Dinner will be more summer sausage and more water.
I am going to exercise tonight, walk 3 miles.

Tuesday June 8th
Forgot weigh and now I've had 2 cups coffee
Day 2 - I am trying to keep my carbs super low for a few days to help with the bloat and minimize the damage from the weekend.
Starting Day 2 of no diet sodas.

Food today will be a turkey burger w/ cheddar and leftover summer sausage. I'll probably have a small salad (iceburg, parm, PN light balsamic, 5 cherry tomatoes) with dinner.

Dinner turned out to be leftovers that I forgot about in the frig. I wanted to use them up. So it was Linda Sue's Spicy Chicken and Spinach Casserole and a dab of summer sausage, 2 glasses decaf ice tea with splenda
