then walking menards, and the mall with dh
then eggdrop soup with mushrooms for supper with some zucch. strips.

gonna go downstairs and "finish" the plan for today and hit the treadmill.

i just had a omm for a snack tonight...with butter on it and spinach/artichoke cream cheese. PRETTY YUMMY!!

i didn't think i'd be able to sleep if i didn't stop my stomach from growling.

the plan went to 30 min on the bike, 15 on the treadmill, and 50 bowflex situps. dh worked out with weights most of the night.

work was crap today....i swear, if i ever find out who "NOBODY" is....he is FIRED!!! "nobody", is responsible for a lot of things at the bar. If a kitchen item is broken or just plain missing....you can bett your a** that "nobody" did it. and i am POSITIVE that "nobody" spilled the breading in the walk-in today. i wonder if he puts in as many hours as we do? he!! yes ! nobody does!!!!

this time around...not to say it's been easy ! my problems seem to surface at night. that's when i get the desire to "just eat a little bit of this" . pretty soon it turns into a "little bit of that". I MUST GAIN CONTROL OVER THIS TIME PERIOD!!!! ....and i will.

I am the same way! After I get off work and into the evening, I just start wanting the food that got me to this weight in the first place. I've heard that this is fairly common, actually. Of course, that doesn't help combat it any.

eating was ok. scotch egg for breakfast. 4 egg omelette for a early supper, with ham and cheese and a omm.
tonight when i got home...a omm with some cheese wedges.

i didn't ride this morning. chose to sleep in a bit. but i did get 30 min in this afternoon. AND i did 5.8 miles in that time. that's really good for me.

...just got home from work. went in at 7:00 am. I did take the garbage out a few times today...but other than that, been in the bar/kitchen for the last 13.5 hours.
I had a cook yesterday that was a no show/no call. :annoyed :

gonna be a long few days ahead. I'm Tired.

I just fixed a "tropical" egg cream. Tastes pretty good. davinci pineapple & banana, coconut milk, and 2 eggs. Ice in a blender.
Does anyone know if coconut milk needs to be refrigerated after opening? It doesn't say on the can.

a new day...
i work in the kitchen for the day shift today. usually on sat's, i'm the "extra" cook. meaning i have 1 regular cook there for the entire shift. but now...if anyone is going to do the "split" shift, he's going to. lol. we laughed about it last night, on fri's, i'll do the double, on sat's, he does the split. he's a good kid with a baby at home. and he's been with us for at least 4 years.

today...i will eat healthy...i will feed the heart, the mind, and the soul. and i will not go balistic when someone say's hey, how's it goin?

nice day at work...lotsa football goin on...the lacal A.B.A.T.E. chapter had their monthly meeting at the bar today..(i don't think they were to thrilled bout the football tho, LOL)...I ended up "outa there" by 4:00. As i predicted this morning.

dh had his salad again tonight. I made poppers when i got home. ate 3 of them...and the cream cheese "ooze" on the baking sheets..
I SERIOUSLY believe that there should be a pan lickers society here
still gonna make some "breakfast" style oopsie bread. I put wf pancake syrup in the egg yolks for these. just like a "mcgriddle"
then i will make some scotch eggs.

...had a chocolate craving tonight, so i fixed something that i have not fixed in a very long time....a choc. egg "pudding"

2 eggs in the blender. while that was whirring away, melted about 3T coconut oil in the micro. in the blender i added some wf choco syrup, about 2 spoons of hyvee baking coco, 2 paks splende and a dash of vanilla. i add the coco oil to the blender as it is running. pour into a coffee cup (sprayed with butter pam so clenup is easier). i had a SMALL amt of hersheys sf choco chips in the frig, si also added those. mico for 30 sec...check on it...and hit it for about 15 more sec.
the egg "cooks up" slightly around the edges and the rest is all warm chocolatey goodness. great snack for the end of the night.

ok..so..waitin for the van to warm up...REALLY ICY TODAY...

i have a plan for today..
sausage egg and cheese on an oopsie for breakfast
either a big chef type of salad or a grilled burger with a small salad for lunch
catfish for supper...that will depend on how long i have to work today

i am really trying to monitor/work on the time of my last meal of the day. if i eat to late...i wake up HUNGRIER than a bear!!! if i eat early, and maybe have a SMALL snack late...i can get up in the morning and accomplish things befor eating. that is what i'd much rather do.

today...i will give out christmas bonuses. dh and i go round and round over this usually. not so bad this year. a bonus should be for a job well done. well....dh thinks that untill we actually have some time off, the job is not WELL DONE. he has a point. right now i work 7 days a week. that can't be helped. i'm almost 52 years old and am in better shape than some of my help so if i have them work...they go down for 2-3 consecutive days...and where does that get me
smoking is a BIG ISSUE at our place. dh and i don't smoke, but my KEY people do. gotta have a cig, gotta have a cig, gotta have a cig.....and i am sick of it. what would these people do on a "line job" or in an "office". but because it's a bar...it should be accepted.
sorry...i have issues...i need to settle down..

..got off a little early today. the scheduled night cook was laid off a week ago from his day job...and he has kids at home...so is always willing to come in early. very nice guy!! he's been with us for over 2 years.

breakfast was my "mcgriddle" - lunch was just a tiny lettuce salad - i'm so tired, that just sitting here reading posts sounds more/better than cooking something to eat.

wow!! the weather here is crap!! things are getting cancelled left and right. i have called off 2 servers for tonigt already...i wonder if we should even have the bar open.

this am i rode 1 hour on the bike...actually 62 min.
i had 3 poppers for breakfast
just got home and had a really yummy chocolate egg cream for lunch

i got 2 t-bones for a christmas present from one of my main salesman. that could very well be dinner tonight!!!

so...bedding is in the dryer, that's probly the last chore for today.

dh came home and started making spag. sauce. that is our christmas eve tradition. so...it is simmering on the stove now...i'll put it away later.

dinner turned into loosemeats. mine was on a oopsie. dh had his on lo-carb tortillas.

the snow just isn't going to stop anytime soon. the weather channel keeps talking about us...how hard it's gonna hit... GREAT !!!!

i think my pillow is calling me pretty early tonight. i can't stop thinking about some chocolate "egg" pudding though. but i must resist. although it is REALLY LOW CARB...i do believe that calories do matter. the coconut oil is the culprit in this....very good health benefits vs high calories just befor bed time. oh well....i will treat myself to this on christmas day.
