just finished with dinner. Fixed boneless pork chops, butternut squash (for me ), stuffing (for dh) broccoli slaw, and cottage cheese. Some fresh raw veges on the side.

Pretty full now....but I think I'll go downstairs and do another 30 min on the bike

so....the new year came in all right...we were home befor midnight. pretty busy day, but I got a good head start on my inventory. Now, will finish it up today.

I have been using miracle rice the last few days. Such a different "texture and substance" to get used to.

The first bag, I whisked up some nonfat milk, about 1/3 cup finished. About 1/3 c banana davinci. rinsed off the rice REALLY WELL and added to the liquid. I whisked in some gluc powder and then put in the frig so it could set up a bit. I did have to add some more sweetener later.
When I pulled it out, I added a sliced banana.

It was light...airy...and reminded me of a banana tapioca.

Yesterday, I add it to my favorite progresso soup and ww entre combo. I WAS STUFFED AFTER EATING THAT.

The best part is the RICE has 0 points. Now, the noodles have a few.

I've been crunching numbers all afternoon. Inventory time.

DANG....I see some price increases coming up....

Today I had some roasted green beans....I LOVE THEM !!!!

Now I'm having some soup and gonna call it a night

I took a fall the night befor new years eve....pretty stupid ....oh well.
Been to the chiro 2x since. Finally slept good last night. Of course, I was in bed befor 7....LOL


Hope today goes better. Weigh in tonight. Hope I got most of last weeks slip ups back off.

well....
I knew the weigh in would be bad.....but, I guess it could have been worse.
I missed last week because of the blizzard and I kinda went "nuts" with the goodies.
Last night I gained 3.6.
THERE. I SAID IT. and I know that i even lost this week so to speak....can't imagine what the scale would have said last week.

This week I committed to TRACKING EVERY SINGLE MORSEL

so far so good today....although not a lot of hunger

we're passing the flu bug around at work, so, I hope that is not the problem

I did have some fruit for breakfast and also for lunch

For supper I had 1/2 c sw egg beaters, 1 turkey sausage, 2 slices ff cheese, and 2 lc tortillas all for 12 points

I am getting ready to have a vita-top brownie w/greek yogurt and 1/2 frozen banana (sliced) and some sliced pineapple w/wf chocolate syrup. It's my version of a banana/brownie split..

Then it's bedtime. I went to the chiro for another treatment today....man did I mess myself up. I can still climb on my bike tho, so that's good. It's all in my upper back/shoulders

Too bad about the gain,but it will come off pretty fast. You may be a little swollen due to your fall also Another week coming up and the holidays are over!

What the heck is it with me and BANANAS????

I have ABSOLUTELY NO PORTION CONTROL WHEN IT COMES TO THESE.

Yesterday afternoon, I had peeled one and thought....I am only going to eat 1/2 right now. And freeze the other 1/2 for later. (I remember YEARS ago, that was a ww trick, slice and freeze, sprinkle with cinnamon and splenda, and eat one slice at a time. Melts in the mouth like ice cream)

So, last night when I had my "banana split/brownie yogurt" concoction, I used those frozen bananas. TO DIE FOR !!!!

I just got done peeling 6 bananas and slicing them into a bag , layed them flat, spread out, on a cookie sheet, so that I can just take some out easily for the yogurt thingy. I hope that I figured out a method of PORTION CONTROL by doing this.

So....anyone watching the biggest loser?? I got to say....I do fing
d it totally inspiring. Iusually ride my bike or walk the treadmill while watching it. Sometimes I do have to record it....and just watch it in the mornings while rising. It's a lot nicer that way....a lot to be said about fast forwarding.

I rode 3...30 minute sessions on the bike tonight while watching Biggest Loser....

I felt I had to do some kind of pennance for the way I ate yesterday....LOL

You're doing WW points? I have NO idea how to count those. I did WW a few times in my younger days, 20's-30's. Old style LOL....

I'm doing ok, just maintaining with JUDDD (the alternate day diet) and I'm doing my next hcg round soon. And getting ready for tax season! woo hoo! hardy har har.

Oh Boy.....I guess it's a little of both...

So much stress going on and I am a REAL stress eater. I seem to keep it together for most of the day and then WHAM....nighttime comes and I spiral. Trying to figure out how to fix that mental state.

At least I am still exersising.....riding every morning and even getting some walking in. I think I've gained 6-7 pounds since the new year....
Got to learn to keep my mouth shut after 7:00 pm

Posting helps....I can see a lot of puter time coming up....LO

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Subbed on the pool team last night....even took a bag of grapes with me for a road snack. Got home and had a dish of yogurt and went to bed. for me.... LOL

I really hit the bike yesterday. Notched up the intensity level !!!
I have been riding at a level 8 for a few days now....went to level 9 yesterday afternoon. I don't know if I can do that consistantly yet....but I will get there. And no LESS than 12 mph. Yesterday I was doing 14.5.

So....I have been tracking faithfully for the last few days and being ACCOUNTABLE. This weeks mantra is "Believe and Achieve" . I so need to havee a good number on the scale this week.

I bought a new food scale at ww thjis week. IT ROCKS !!!!!

We just had broiled flat iron steak for dinner....just put it on the scale, entered in the "meat description"....and up pops 7 points.

I had let them sit out on the counter for about 2.5 hours and then broiled them....melt in the mouth delicious !!!!

Dh had baked potato and peas w/ a biscuit
I had butternut squash (0 pts) w/ lettuce, sliced red onion, 1/3 c ww cheese, and dressing (4 pts)

The scale was a bit pricey....but like the activelink, I figured it was an investment in my health.

I think I will take my other digital scale to work now. WAY more acurate than the dial scale anyway.

It's a never ending battle I guess we will have to deal with the rest of our life. wouldn't it be nice if our bodies just stayed a normal weight for our height That's a nice dream I have I hope the scale is nice to you
