I Challenge... ME!!!

Well, I am a new member of the board but have been reading the past couple of weeks as I started my own journey and I have to say that this board has been such a relief and inspiration to me. It has been interesting trying to eat low carb and find things that are still tasty as I am a pasta girl and I love my sugars and sweets. So, I thought I would start one of these journals so I can look back on what does and doesn't work...

So, today starts week three and so far I have lost 7.8 lbs. So, I am well on my way...

Weight is staying the same but I did lose an inch on the belly this last week and an inch in the waist also so I cannot complain. I even cheated quite a bit on Halloween. Darn chocolate is my downfall.

Went grocery shopping last night and got lost of good chicken and pork for the coming week with lots of veggies for the sides. I am still trucking along at 223...

Been meaning to update this journal. You can see how bad I am at updating.

So, so far I have lost 37.7 pounds and I am starting to feel like my goal is in sight. Still have not had one free day of pigging out and I am so proud of myself. I also have been working out alot. I try to do 60 minutes cardio and 30 minutes yoga/weights. I have missed a few days (such as Christmas) but I am doing better than I have done in years. In fact, I haven't been this weight in probably 5 years.

Yay Me!

Today's Menu:
B: 2 eggs w Bacon
L: 6 oz Steak
S: Beef Stick
D: Taco Salad in a bowl
S: Beef stick or cheese

Exercise: 60 minutes cardio

I bought Wii Active today and I really like it. Much MUCH better than Wii Fit Plus. 500 cals burned for today! Yay me!

Going to make some beef rollups tonight. Yum!

B: Eggs and Sausage Scramble
L: Hamburger
S: Beef Stick
D: Chicken Salad with mushrooms and bacon
S: Laughing Cow Cheese

Exercise: 1 hr treadmill. 10 minutes weights.
